But what about the people who aren't as lucky as us. The starving,

the homeless, the sick, the unemployed. The children who aren't educated.

The families who don't have access to clean water. The thousands in prison for speaking their minds.

The people who are judged by the colour of their skin. The communities that are destroyed by natural disasters.

The girl's who aren't held equal with boys.

The tortured, the war stricken, the enslaved, the abused.

The people who have nothing left, and no one to help them.

We live in a harsh world.

A world where 70% of the population of Asia and Africa live on less than $2 a day.

Every 5 seconds a child dies due to lack of nourishment.

where $775 million adults lack basic literacy skills

and millions are forced into exploitative labor.

The truth of the matter is that there are lots of problems in our world.

Just because we can't see it happening around us,

it doesn't mean it isn't happening. But things don't need to be this way.

Organizations and individuals are fighting everyday to make our planet a better place

and you can help! To change the world you don't need to be important and powerful,

you don't need to be rich and famous, you don't need to be a superhero,

you don't need to be young and you don't need to be old.

The people who change the world are just that -- people.

Unstoppable and unreasonable individuals who have a burning desire to make a difference.

Don't ignore the problem. Don't complain about it. Refuse to leave life as it is.

We need to find something within that will drive us.

Decide what it's going to be, and how you're going to do it. Then do everything you can

to make it happen. It's not going to be easy. You need to go against the grain.

Lots of us fear what other people will think about us. But to change the world,

we need to be fearless. There are over 7 billion people on this planet.

That's 7 billion people, each with their own goals.

It's necessary to know that not everyone will join you. But you need to believe

so much that others start believing with you. Everyone has an idea,

but what matters is when you wake up in the morning, what are you going to do about it?

You matter. You are powerful.

You can create happiness and freedom. Just take the first step.

Refuse to be silent. Your words can change the world, so speak up!

See what you can do. See what you can accomplish.

It's not going to be easy. But whatever you do, don't give up.
