Nintendo has announced three new 3DS games coming this summer.
Two are brand new and one is “new.”
First up, we’re getting a new entry in the Mario & Luigi series of role-playing games.
Called Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, this one focuses on Luigi himself - in fact, it all
takes place in his dreams.
The last Mario & Luigi title was Bowser’s Inside Story, released on the DS in 2009.
We’re also getting a new Mario Golf game soon. Mario Golf: World Tour will once again
be developed by Camelot and will also be available this summer.
Camelot has been making super fun golf games since 1997, but fun fact -- they also made
the amazing Shining Force turn-based strategy games back in the day.
Anyway, Nintendo says Mario Golf: World Tour includes courses that range from traditional
to those inspired by the Mushroom Kingdom.
Characters confirmed so far are Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and Donkey Kong.
Finally, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is also coming to the Nintendo 3DS. This will
be a port of the 2010 Wii game. No word yet on whether or not new content is being added.
