  • Hello everybody.

  • I'm on a road trip with my wonderful friend Taylor be hello.

  • I'm just saying I'm on the road trip for the wonderful taylor bean.

  • It's me, we're all staying with basil.

  • You're okay.

  • You want to come down basically quick brief for you guys.

  • Do you like the chip fingers?

  • I've been really, really lucky and been in contact with a guy called luke who owns over land campus and we are in this really, really amazing car.

  • I'm going to show you later but it's, it's a, it's a beast is big but it's got this massive tent on top and like comes with so much stuff.

  • I'll give you a rundown later.

  • So yeah, that's, that's what we're doing this video.

  • We're going to Yamanashi and she's woke up, we got on the road, drove through Tokyo was amazing experience.

  • Amazing in a way.

  • Also guys, I got my license.

  • I haven't driven yet but it will be driving on this trip.

  • But yeah, I got my license, very exciting.

  • So we're going to be staying at two different campsites.

  • Um and just just enjoying ourselves genuinely to the core.

  • Looking at nature, looking at some leaves today, it's raining unfortunately, but we can still have like a gas fire and like make food tonight.

  • So after this I'm gonna head into more with Yamanashi, go to a supermarket, grab some stuff, probably head to the campsite.

  • But yeah, it's just a chill chill trip with my girl, tell Abby and then and now we go again.

  • It's so hard not to chill.

  • Don't like, oh hello everyone, sorry I probably won't film too much tonight because it's raining very a lot and getting here was a little intense but we're here now and actually it's amazing.

  • This thing has this giant awning and so you can just, even though it's raining, you know, we're all set up over here.

  • Got a little table and chairs looking good and it's all dry and nice and set up the tent upstairs and then we're gonna do some cooking here.

  • And yeah, pretty much call it a night but I'll probably talk to you guys a lot more tomorrow.

  • But tonight I'll show you.

  • I think we're making spaghetti mushroom fettuccini alfredo style stuff.

  • Thank you.

  • Chef taylor at your service.

  • Oh wow.

  • Oh we need this.

  • Good morning everybody.

  • How you doing?

  • Hope you're well right now I'm in Yamanashi which is near Mount fuji.

  • Uh, whereabouts in Yamanashi?

  • I can't remember.

  • I'm just here right now.

  • I'm just about to make some oats for breakfast because I am very chilly.

  • It's very cold but the sun is slowly coming up right now.

  • It's getting a little bit warmer.

  • Yeah, I'm using a camper from over land Japan and it's amazing.

  • I've never done over landing before.

  • Over landing is a bit different in Japan.

  • So a car went past and I got distracted and I forgot to give you a tour of the car.

  • So here is your car tour.

  • We used the Toyota FJ cruiser, which was a good size for me, taylor and basil.

  • It was nice and spacious and over here we just have a table which we used for all of our cooking and any kind of prep work we needed to do.

  • Then over here we have the fridge which we used to store all of our food underneath.

  • There was just so much stuff to listen here.

  • Honestly the spices, knives, utensils, basically anything that we could need when it comes to cooking and eating.

  • In the other one we had a gas stovetop cutting boards and heaps of lights and torches which was really good.

  • And then on top we had a fire pit which we used on the final night.

  • And then also up here is a big battery pack.

  • So we used it to charge all of our stuff and it keeps the fridge running and everything.

  • And then also there was some tables and chairs.

  • But yeah, that was a quick tour.

  • If you want any more information because it was impossible for me to list everything.

  • Just check out the links in the description down below and you can go check out this stuff.

  • Okay.

  • I got my, it's very plain oats with some strawberries but it's hot you know I just want something hot.

  • I feel like when you're out camping things just taste better getting my license feels like a level up it feels like A lot of Japan has just opened up a lot more.

  • Actually slept really well.

  • I'll show you the 10 in a second.

  • It's really, really cool.

  • But yeah, we slept out there.

  • The two of us with basil and it was just, it was just really nice.

  • I had a really nice sleep.

  • Okay.

  • I'm gonna finish this bike before we pack it up.

  • We're gonna show you the tour of the place we slept last night.

  • So let's get this ladder.

  • Let's give it a clone.

  • Here we are.

  • It's pretty warm last night.

  • And we have a window over here and also this big one here.

  • It opens to, you can get a view of the stars or whatever you want at night.

  • It's very nice.

  • Just gonna close up the awning time to pack it all up.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • I'm driving.

  • You can see me.

  • It feels good.

  • It feels good to be back in the car.

  • It's been so long and it's just, it's nice.

  • I could go anywhere.

  • Do anything.

  • And also if you close the windows, you can scream.

  • Oh my God, it's so pretty taylor.

  • Get the front.

  • Okay.

  • Oh, that's so pretty.

  • Holy crap.

  • We got perfect for your season.

  • So happy.

  • Yeah.

  • Everybody enjoy, enjoy everybody go.

  • Everybody, I don't want anybody behind me.

  • Baby's first driving time in Japan.

  • Are you feeling amazing?

  • I love it.

  • It's so good.

  • I feel like an adult human.

  • You are an adult human.

  • Okay.

  • Are we ready?

  • We are ready?

  • Let's go.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Okay, we're just driving and then saw this cool leak.

  • So we'll just stop in and check it out.

  • So nice basil.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Oh my God.

  • Oh my God, look at that.

  • I don't know if there's any way that you can access this unless you have a car.

  • Like it's just next to a main road.

  • Oh my God.

  • I love that.

  • They left a little pull off area here.

  • I'm out of breath.

  • I just went up some stairs.

  • We just stopped at a meeting.

  • So a pit stop.

  • But there's a nice view of food here as well if you just turn around right there so you can come here, grab some snacks and get a view of fuji.

  • But yeah, we're on our way to the next campsite but we're thinking of stopping at a on sand so that we can actually like shower and freshen up.

  • Probably just grab some snacks here.

  • Go to the on sand.

  • Maybe check in first, then go to the campsite.

  • I think that's the plan.

  • It's just so beautiful videos and stuff.

  • Don't do it justice.

  • Like when you see it in person is just like, wow.

  • So when I got some Yaki soba that they were selling at a stall.

  • But I want to come up here and sit down at this bench because I got a nice view while I eat.

  • This is, I can't remember.

  • Fujino Mia.

  • If you do something style.

  • I think I'm dehydrated but these are really good as always with Yaki soba.

  • I always want more sauce drowning in sauce.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Right, okay.

  • We just made it to the second camping spot.

  • I think this place would be amazing if you have a tent.

  • It's still really nice for us.

  • But unfortunately we can't park where all the tents are.

  • So we're gonna have to stay on the just little side road tonight, which is totally fine because you can still see all of the amazing koyo, the autumn leaves.

  • This place is amazing for autumn leaves.

  • So we're just going to be setting up here is going to be in the sunlight.

  • Mhm Yeah, well set up here for cooking and everything and do a fire tonight.

  • And then other than that and I was like in the car over there but it's so beautiful.

  • I'm so glad there's still some leaves left because it rained yesterday.

  • So I'm glad it's still okay now that we've checked it out.

  • We're probably gonna go to the onset now and freshen up a little bit because I've been wearing the same clothes for Very long time and it's time to get fresh and then get some vegetables, come back, make 48 pass out.

  • I need some groceries at Ds.

  • He's not as I was taking that video.

  • Look behind its fuji oh my gosh, that sunset looks amazing on Fiji.

  • Beautiful.

  • Hey guys, I'm looking very spooky And we went and got groceries and now we have a little fire going right here.

  • Just burning it down to coals.

  • But yeah, we're going to cook paninis.

  • There's like a little panini press or like a sandwich press.

  • You can put in the fire and we're going to put grilled vegetables inside of a sandwich with cheese and it's gonna be so lit.

  • So hungry and so excited.

  • Oh mm hmm.

  • I'm going to make a mega sander.

  • Gonna be so good and butter and bread, buttery buttery bread, buttery bread.

  • Okay, do you want um, garlic inside?

  • I'm going to do garlic outside of mine.

  • Is that good?

  • I think I got This is a hilarious sandwich.

  • Good luck there for it.

  • Oh, that's the search.

  • I think it's gonna be fine.

  • Yes.

  • Yes guys.

  • This is my haunted looking sandwich.

  • I've never been more excited for a sandwich in my whole life.

  • The battery's gonna die.

  • So I'm gonna take a bite.

  • Hopefully it's cool enough to give me a sander.

  • Oh my God, that's the best sandwich I've had in my whole life.

  • Oh my God guys, If you can't be making any guys, you know what time it is?

  • It's time to grill cookies.

  • Okay, cookies are ready for a flip.

  • These cookies are blueberry filled.

  • It's falling apart.

  • All that one.

  • Oh no, that's the best part of camping is scaling the cookies.

  • Hello?

  • No, no, I made a mistake.

  • Oh God it's on fire taylor.

  • It's on fire.

  • Still on fire.

  • Mm hmm It's really good.

  • My battery's about to die.

  • I'm going to go up into the tent with everybody and get some sleep.

  • It's so cold.

  • Goodbye.

  • Goodnight everybody.

  • Morning.

  • Good morning.

  • What you making another Panini?

  • Lost exciting.

  • Well, this time the left on the list Penny for breakfast.

  • I'm happy to have a penny for every meal for the rest of my life.

  • You guys can hear me eat it.

  • Look at these leaves and stuff.

  • It's like you must mhm Yeah.

  • Mm Oh it's awesome.

  • Good morning everybody welcome to day two, day three, the final day of our trip.

  • But yeah, today we're actually just heading home but on the way, I think we might stop and see some things because we can get back at any time.

  • But I kind of want to avoid the traffic.

  • I'm kind of nervous going down skinny roads.

  • It was a little bit tight yesterday with our car.

  • I was like, isn't this just gorgeous.

  • Look at this, look at that awesome.

  • I'm definitely gonna be coming back next year to this spot as well during autumn because it's, it's just so perfect.

  • And it's not too far from Tokyo.

  • It's about a two hour drive.

  • So very straightforward.

  • Yeah, we gotta start packing stuff up and head back.

  • Okay.

  • We just packed up and now we're going to start the journey home.

  • Goodbye to this campsite.

  • So beautiful all the trees.

  • But yeah, I think we call it just the last of the season and they're going to be gone like any day now.

  • So we're very lucky.

  • Okay, let's go.

  • Are you ready?

  • You ready, basil?

  • She's so ready.

  • Okay.

  • We stopped at a pit stop.

  • I actually realized I've been to this pit stop before I filmed a video here with TC but the best thing about this pistol up just beautiful.

  • But I might go in and grab something to drink something warm.

  • Oh, I left my coat in the car.

  • I'm so cold.

  • I'm so cold.

  • I had that last time.

  • It was so good.

  • Seriously felt a little bit cream.

  • They also have these things that look like cigarettes, but actually it's green tea called tobacco char means tea instead of tobacco and tobacco.

  • I couldn't help it.

  • I got mcas fries.

  • Guys, I just got home, I am shattered.

  • I'm so tired.

  • I drove through Tokyo on the way back, I drove through naka Meguro and I took the wrong turning or I missed the turning and had to go through all these tight side streets in a big car and I did it and I'm so tired So this is where I'm gonna end the video.

  • I had a great time.

  • Thank you so much once again to over land Japan for letting us take the car.

  • We did get this free of charge.

  • But I offered to make a video on it.

  • Why not?

  • It's a great experience and yeah, you can rent them when you're in Japan as well.

  • It's just so much fun.

  • There was so much included and it was just, just, thank God it was so easy to set up.

  • It's in the colder months.

  • So the sun went down really fast and luckily everything is so easy to set up that we could set it up even in pouring pouring rain at nighttime after a stressful drive, we could set everything up and it was just so easy.

  • That's me.

  • I'm going to say goodbye, but thank you so much for watching.
