So, I'm not here forever, but to be honest,

after about a week, I kind of wish I was.

It's really, really beautiful here.

この町って本当に美しくて

The air is clean, the water's beautiful,

空気も、川に流れている水もきれいで

the food is delicious, and it's just

食べ物もすごく美味しいの！

a much more relaxed and comfortable lifestyle.

都会に比べると少しのんびりした生活ですね。

Since I got here, things are finally

やっと綾町に着いてから、

starting to settle down a little bit,

いろいろ落ち着いてきているので

and I finally found a day where

I can sit at home and I can do my laundry,

家でゆっくりしながら、洗濯物でもして

and finally organize my furniture

いよいよ寝室のセットアップができます。

and kind of set up my room properly.

And just the other day I got this

First thing I got was this really sweet little photo frame

Sometimes it's important to be reminded of this.

これはたまに意識していきたいですね。

Oh, and this is one that I really like,

'cause I feel like I always hold myself back

when things are just not up to my own standards.

It's not every day that I have a chance

From the walls to the flooring,

these rooms are extremely delicate,

and you have to handle them with absolute care.

It pretty much goes without saying that

heavy furniture is not so great for tatami flooring.

You will almost always be sleeping on a futon

I'm actually pretty luck this room has

So, it is really hard to decorate a room like this,

I used to use it for singing,

and now I mostly use it for video narration.

この家にエアコン1台もありません。

So you might have noticed, there are no air conditioners.

ってことでこれを買いました！

Usually, Japanese houses have air-con,

灯油のヒーターです。

like an air conditioner in each room,

中に灯油が入ってます。

and the air conditioner usually has a heating feature,

臭いは少し苦手ですが

but there are no air conditioners in this house.

これはピットボタンを押すだけです。

So, what we use for heating instead

今１６℃ぐらいですね。

is this kerosene heater.

だけど、設定が２４℃になっているので、 これから部屋を温まります！

Inside is a tank full of kerosene.

これは三脚ですが、コートのハンガーとしても使っています。

It smells like gas fumes, it's really funky.

Apparently, it's 16 degrees in this room right now,
