Maybe you could share with me

- When the interviewer is asking you this question,
what can you do that no one else can,
chances are they're looking at a number of applicants
and not so sure.
Hm, you seem okay,
but what makes you different from everybody else?
Think about it.
They have been looking at a lot of resumes
and chances are they all kind of look the same,
and they've been doing a lot of interviews.
No one kind of is memorable.
So how could you make yourself stand out without bragging?
This is not a time to brag, right?
It's not just, oh, you don't want to answer something
that's so generic.
Oh, I'm hardworking.
Or, I have X years of experience,
or that I work well with people.
You don't want those type of answers
because you sound like the same, just like everybody else.
What are some of the unique skill sets that only you have,
that you could communicate,
that you have some kind of results,
that you could bring to the table, right?
For the company that you are applying for.
Let me give you a couple examples.
Let's say, I am applying for a position for a manager
for a YouTube channel.
And someone asks me the question,
so what can you do that no one else can do?
I will say something like this.
In my last position, I helped to grow the YouTube channel
from 100,000 subscribers to over a million subscribers
in three years.
This increase was a direct result of my ability to know
what people want, what viewers want on YouTube
and being able to understand analytics
and create content that people would come back
watch again and again, and subscribe to.
I am confident that my skills will help your company
to grow your YouTube subscriber base as well.
That's just one simple example.
You see, instead of giving just a vague generic answer,
a reply like that, it talks about a very specific result
that you have been able to produce.
And then you're also communicating to the interviewer,
what could you bring to the table?
It always goes back to self-interest.
They want to know what can you do to the company.
What value can you bring?
Are you going to be an asset?
- Hm, a-ha!
- That's what they're always thinking.
So let me give you one more example.
Let's say, you're applying for a digital marketing
online funnel builder position,
and they asked you this question,
what can you do that no one else can?
Well, here is a simple reply that you could use.
I am a digital marketer with a focus on online funnels.
Because I also have a degree in psychology,
I'm able to combine what I've learned from university,
understanding human psychology,
but combining that with technology
and create very effective funnel that converts.
I believe I bring a very unique perspective
when it comes to digital marketing and funnel building.
And I'm very confident with my abilities
and skill sets and your brand and your product lines
we could generate significant revenue online.
You see how that works.
You share a little bit of your background,
you go back to talk about what's in it for them.
And that's how you answer the question.
This is a pretty straightforward question.
All you need to do is practice.
You practice some more.

that they could ask you.
