I'm gonna be drawing digitally--

- And I'll be drawing traditionally,

the old fashioned way.

And what we're gonna draw

- Okay, yeah. - And go.

- So what are you drawing with?

- They're Prismacolor and they're soft.

They blend nicely.

- Cool, I am drawing digitally on a Wacom Cintiq

- ワコムのCintiqでデジタルでお絵かきをしています。

and I'm drawing in Adobe Photoshop.

とAdobe Photoshopで描いています。

So Sarah, you don't draw digitally much, do you?

サラさんはあまりデジタルで描かないんですよね？

- No, I pretty much never draw digitally,

- いや、デジタルで描くことはほとんどないんだ。

just cause I look at a screen all day for work

一日中画面を見て仕事をしているからといって

and then when I come home it's like,

そして、家に帰ってくると......そんな感じです。

I like to not look at a screen,

画面を見ないのが好きです。

and also, for me, drawing,

そして、私にとっては絵を描くことも。

a lot of it is about being tactile and feeling things

and carving things out with my utensils.

So I don't really get the same sensation

But I think it's cool.

I think I've worked out a nice composition here.

- I'm okay.

It's just really difficult because

I do usually spend hours and hours and hours on my drawings.

So it's really, really hard

to achieve something I'm happy with

in just two hours.

- Sure, yeah. - How about you?

I took way too much time sketching

and figuring out my composition,

and now I feel like I'm behind.

And so now I'm kind of rushing to catch up.

- I got my, my Bilbo's pretty much good.

I'm not super happy with him but Bilbo's done.

And the nice thing about working with Photoshop

is that I can separate everything onto layers.

So when I want to work on my Smaug

I can literally turn off my Bilbo and just focus on Smaug.

- Well, must be nice.

I'm not feeling amazing about this.

- I don't know, I'm just, you know,

I have a high standard for myself.

- And there's nothing wrong with having a high standard,

so you keep having that high standard and you keep working.

I'm actually pretty chill with it,

I'm actually pretty pleased honestly.

I also gave mine eyelashes so it might be a lady Smaug.

私もまつげをあげたので、スマウグのお嬢様かもしれません。

I feel like dragons are always beautiful

and have lovely eyelashes.

と可愛らしいまつげをしています。

- Yeah, dragons are the prettiest

- うん ドラゴンが一番可愛い

of all of the huge beasts I would say.

全ての巨獣の中で私が言いたいのは

You know what, I'm not gonna say that

そんなことは言わないよ

because now I gonna get in trouble on the internet.

ネットでトラブルになりそうだから

People already think I'm a furry.

もうみんな私のことを毛皮だと思っている。

- Why do they think you're a furry?

- なんで毛皮だと思われてるの？

- In the "Lion King" episode I said that Nala had nice eyes.

- ライオンキング」のエピソードでは、ナラの目が素敵だと言っていました。

- She does-- (Shane laughing)

(giggling) Shane just laughed really loud.

- I'm not wrong, Shane.

The nice thing is that we've worked out the composition

So it's just almost kind of muscle memory at this point.

- Okay, all right, enough of your digital bashing.

- Okay, so I've got a Bilbo,

he looks very little like my other one.
