  • And today we're gonna make sweet potato lettuce wraps.

  • That sounds delicious.

  • But before we get to the recipe, we'd like to bring some awareness to the staggering number of cases of childhood malnutrition that are happening these days.

  • It's so sad.

  • Now, we all know how nutritious and packed with vitamins the sweet potato is.

  • But for developing countries, it can actually be bio fortified to include even more nutrition than it already has.

  • It can include more vitamin A, and so many Children are dying because of a lack of vitamin A in their diets.

  • So we're so on board with this campaign and hopefully you can help us to especially being mothers.

  • This is such a great cause and so dear to our hearts and the actual everyday what more would be one question then do not have any of these non magician issues.

  • So let's get started with this delicious recipe.

  • You're gonna be glad you waited for this one.

  • This recipe we're gonna be using about a pound of sweet potatoes and we're gonna peel it.

  • And Cuba really small.

  • We're gonna chop it into small pieces.

  • Make sure all the oil and sweet potatoes or well mixed together.

  • We're gonna cover it and let it cook until the sweet potatoes are tender but not mushy.

  • We make sure the story in between once in a while, so our spices are cool to the touch.

  • That's right to do that and makes finding easier.

  • So we got out of the spice grinder here when you add that in, and of course, they grind spices.

  • It is what it looks like.

  • Sir potatoes have been cooking for about eight minutes, and they're perfectly tender and not mushy.

  • Each piece is separate and nice and cooked.

  • At this point, we can go ahead and put in our ground cumin powder and chili powder mix, and this is to taste.

  • You'll use about one The 1.5 teaspoons.

  • Give it a good mix and you can switch off the stove.

  • Next, we're gonna make a little salad, actually, yummy salad that was on the street, traders.

  • And I've little boats or romaine boats.

  • It's up to you.

  • So just get a good, um, feel of where you might get like, little bowls of this lettuce, and we're just gonna cut it right down the middle.

  • All right, so here goes, and this lettuce was stored in the refrigerator.

  • It's very important because a part of this the uniqueness of this recipe is the thing about the hot Nicole together.

  • So the lettuce is cold.

  • A nice crispy and sweet potatoes are nice and more so.

  • I think it's the Christians off the lettuce and the softness on are the label backed sweet potato and the darkness of the green apple, so I think it's gonna be really good.

  • So I'm just gently prying the edges and trying to remove it so that each individual bowl comes loose and it will tear a little bit.

  • Now, if you're doing this for a party year, if you're doing it for a big gathering and you don't want to do this at the last minute, you can already go ahead and pretty make the bulls and even Dunkleman bunch of ice water.
