Just wants to receive our swag bags, and we thought, there's gonna be a lot of swag in it, but unfortunately, yeah, it does Google on in and meet aboard Grace Hopper.

But the ladies feel about the fund of the Smooth way.

Okay, that's a big bag.

We're currently go until we're first talk off Day one of Grace Hopper, and it's gonna be about self promotion.

Let's see if we can get in because this conference has about 20,000 people, so it's absolutely packed.

Conference has multiple tracks.

Berry's career track, various artificial intelligence track software, engineering track, Internet of things track at you.

Name it.

Anything.

Technology related way, promotion workshop.

I'll see if I learned how to self, I just came out off the first grace help recession that I attended and it was a workshop on self promotion.

Scientifically was proven that people woman brags to another woman in there.

Woman does not like that original woman that was ragging.

So you have to be good at riding where you say what you're good at.

You offer a wise and also, if you have a friends that is nearby he bragged about them and say like, Oh, Maria is really good at X Y c e.

It actually makes the other person feel good about you because you are bragging or promoting someone else too.

I just came out of my second session of the day.

It's really busy.

I went to one session in the morning and then Airbnb Career Fair and I just walked around the career fair, and now I went to a two hour session on how to become more influential, and they basically talked about that.

There is six different sources off influence, such as informational resource influence, relationships in Flint's expertise.

And two employees don't remember.

Oh, direct And then one more I need to look up and with different exercises on.

The biggest thing for me that I took away from the session is that I need to either get a for a role horse on negotiation and just learn better negotiation tactics.

Guys, I just taped the career fair, which is absolutely insane.

There's just so many people, so many companies.

I grabbed a bunch of swag that I will show later to you right now.

I'm just headed to my last session of the day that will be talking about people, have a lot of interest and just have to manage that, you know, I wanted to quickly show you guys the air being view we're staying at here in Houston and Grace Hopper.

It's actually massive.

This is the living room.

It's pretty big.

And now we have the kitchen over here with a big, big table, and there is actually another bathroom and a bathroom on the first floor.

And that's where the entrance is if we had upstairs.

So there's three floors in total who's downstairs with a bathroom and bedroom.

There's the living room kitchen, and now I'm on the top floor.

And here we have another bedroom where the ladies are curling here with the bathroom.

And this is the master bedroom where Constance and I are staying with a big, big bathroom.

Very community for two people, because there's two things big mirror.

Um, whatever.

It's cold shower in the back.

And then also on this floor, we have another patio.

So actually was lying.

There is four floors because there is this staircase that goes up to the top to the patio.

So Google had this like 10 in the middle of the whole conference, like out in the open.

It's nice to kind of like chill there.

Yes, where I'm asked, How do you feel about I'm so and why I'm here is because this year Airbnb is focusing a lot on internal team events while of Grace Hopper, and we're going to a team building Soulcycle class.

And it's at 6 30 in the warden.

I'm so tired, but I'm ready to try out the plus soul cycle for the first time.

I heard it's really intense, and I don't like cycling stationary bikes.

I quit, but I am excited because apparently there's lots of music and it kind of feels like a party, and I like parties.

Stephanie and I just finished for both of us.

Our first soulcycle clause, it was pretty fun.

What do you do for fun and really slutty?

Yeah, yeah, it was, like, pretty intense.

They had a good music set and apparently an instructor we just had was, like, really awesome because some people, it wasn't the first time that they went.

And they said it was really good intro for us movies because she was just so God to a stolen car gin.

And she saddled the like Call Tiu or good things.

I guess that's all kind cycle says that you need to, like, overcome yourself on union to power through you Define your lives by, like, through struggle.

And if you make yourself uncomfortable than that's how you become who you like, you could be like Yeah, yeah, you're right.

But I'm already feeling pretty accomplished above my day because I want to soul cycle and I grab a smoothie.

And now I am had into the convention center after the booth, I'm gonna attend a bunch of talks.

There is quite a few that I'm interested in today, and then we have the Airbnb event that I'm going to be o right now, Signal is gonna print my face on a lot, right?

I'm going to my last official Grace Hopper session.

I have been to two so far today.

The 1st 1 was on personal branding and quick tips on how to foster a personal friend.

And it mainly talked about the fact that you shouldn't rooftop in thinking about competition.

Because the end of the day everyone has a seat at the table on can bring something to the table and that you should find what is unique about you and what you can offer and craft your story around that and then just be authentic and be willing to help people.

So that's kind of the quick summary of what the session was about.

And I'm now coming back from a panel about also personal Brendan.

Actually, as you can tell real into these personal Brendan sessions and have for women, that kind of defined themselves on having a strong personal friends in their fields on careers.

And now Now I'm going to my last session off Grace Hopper, which is about crafting a good resume, and I really want to attend the session to give you guys good tips on how to craft a good resume.

So let's see.

I'll be successful.

I did, and if the session will prove to be useful and had it into one of my last two events, it's air being these private events at a steak house.

I just love the air being.

These events were rented out a beautiful space and had appetizers and drinks.

And we hosted a bunch of students that we talked to.

It was very casual, not like super no professional.

Tell me about yourself, what you're working on, tell me about your projects, et cetera, et cetera.

And now I'm very briefly going to the nobles invite only event just literally for 10 minutes because I have to catch an early flight.

I'm excited to check out this event because last year apparently they were given away Google homes, which is kind of a big deal, some super excited to see if there's gonna be any given voice this year.

So Google's event is not lived just yet.

But the said I was pretty impressive.

And it's not lead because I'm actually super early on, like, 20 minutes before the opening, because I really need to go to the airport soon.

I'm just here to check it out, not build a promo that I missed out on something amazing and it's really cool.

I attended the Google on Airbnb events.

There were a lot of fun and I just wrapped it up quickly and had it to the airport.

As you guys can tell, I'm back in San Francisco.

My apartment Grace Hopper was a ton of fun and it actually last three days.

Well, more like 2.5.

That was the third day with the closing ceremony, which unfortunately had to miss because I had to be back in the city for my opera concert on Friday.

Overall, I'm super happy that I went.

I was slightly skeptical of going at first because usually whenever I would go to conferences, I didn't end up learning to too much.

But I felt like the talks that I went to the races were pretty useful, and it was a great opportunity to get to know my coworkers back better.

And, yeah, it was just a great time.

Overall definitely left on a trip.

As faras the Google event goes, unfortunately, being warned given away any type of swag.

I know.

Last year I said they were giving away people's homes.
