I'm waiting here because some friends are about to come pick me up for a road trip.

We're going on a road trip across northern Japan for the next four days.

I will be blogging every day.

So this is the first of those videos, and I'm really looking forward to showing you guys some cool spots in northern Japan and hopefully encouraging you to come up here on your next trip to Japan.

It always seems to be the last spot on everybody's travel list while they're in Japan.

And I find that so sad because the North is so beautiful.

There's so much to see here.

We are hitting the road again on we're heading into Joe GABA, which is kind of far, isn't it?

Kind of close to where I live.

You go out to the coast.

It's a really beautiful beach.

And we're gonna head out there and stay in a deal con a Japanese hotel for the night, and then hopefully we're gonna get up early in the morning and go see the sunrise.

So the dinner Here's a buffet style.

Andi think breakfast is the same as well, and they have lots of stuff to choose from.

These look really good.

Like sweet potatoes covered in a sesame glaze.

All right, we're gonna dig in, and then I'll give you guys a tour in my room.

Let me give you guys a little tour of my room, and I have to sleep.

I decided I'm not gonna get up for sunrise, because apparently we have to wake up like four.

AM and that's not my thing.

I'm so glad that this room has its own shower.

Some rooms and no Khan won't have a shower, and you have to go down to the public bathing area and shower together with everyone else.

And I'm not a fan of that.

Pretty stoked that I have.

My own shower was kind of worried.

Standard sink in shampoo, hair, dryer, toothbrush, et cetera.

I got my own washroom in here as well.

You don't have to share that with anyone in the bedroom is in this room here, and it's really spacious that give me a really big room.

You really need all this space to myself, but I won't complain.

It's possible that there's a nice view of the ocean and the beach.

Oh, there.

But we'll check tomorrow morning.

So while you're out of your room having dinner or breakfast, the hotel stuff will come in here and either set up or put away your foot on for you.

So they set this up for me while I was out for dinner.

It looks so comfy.

I love food taught.

I really like staying at Japanese style hotels because I find the futon beds super comfy.

And they'll usually have a floor table like this where you can sit and have some tea.

They always give you some complimentary snacks to eat with your tea and they'll be a little tea set on a kettle.
