  • had ever wanna welcome to another video.

  • Now Far Car three was one of my most anticipated games back in 2012.

  • The only problem was that my PC couldn't run it.

  • And even the current drink consuls at the time the Xbox, 360 and PlayStation three struggled to maintain a decent frame rate, with both versions often dipping as low as 25 or worse.

  • I remember trying to play the game on my AM D a 4 33 100 AP you, which went about as well as you can imagine, with the onboard HD 64 10 D graphics buckling under the pressure despite the poor performance across the board, Far Cry three turned out to be my favorite game in the series so far, and I'm sure many of you would agree with that sentiment.

  • In fact, back in late 2012 I had a friend who was so obsessed with the release of this game that they built a gaming PC specifically tailored to this tighter working off the recommended system requirements that ubi soft had stated on their website, which didn't work out too well in the end, as you needed a far beefy a rig.

  • If you wanted to turn the graphical settings, why up?

  • We've looked a hell.

  • Games perform with their recommended system requirements before, and it's safe to say that some games fare better than others.

  • But today I decided to re create my friends.

  • Far cry three, reusing used components for his little money as possible.

  • So here it is for £50.60 US dollars.

  • At the time of this video, or 53 euros, every created a system that would be soft themselves, recommended for far cry three.

  • Let's talk about the specs.

  • I've stuck everything in a new case to make it more presentable and reused the course there.

  • 6 50 old reliable Power supply here The eye 35 30 was purchased for just £1 C e X, along with the graphics card for 12.

  • I've also gone for a widely available Intel D Q 57 TM 11 56 board with the recommended four gigs of RAM on a 500 gig Satur Hard Drive.

  • The DVD driver was also a must have for installing our disk based copy of both Window seven with service Pack one on the game itself.

  • Testing just one title doesn't make too much sense, so I'll be seeing how this cheap rig handles a few others as well.

  • Firstly, though, let's talk a little more about the hardware.

  • The eye 35 30 released back in 2010 for about $100.

  • It's clocked at 2.93 gigahertz and has to cause with four threads.

  • Browsing the Web in such still feels fine there.

  • Remember, we are using Window seven and the Eye three score similar to a Pentium G 30 to 58 a mobile court by five.

  • The one gig HD 57 70 years cooked to 850 megahertz and launched in 2009 as a mid range $150 GPU.

  • But just like the eye three, it was already a couple of years old when far Cry three came out.

  • Nonetheless, it supports direct X 11 so can run nearly all modern games, considering Ubi Soft stated that the X 11 was recommended.

  • That's what will be selecting from the in game menu.

  • The first thing to do was determined what settings we need to average 60 frames per second and to start with our selected 10 80 p resolution and opted for the low precept, which from memory, I can tell you, still looks great.

  • Aside, from 1920 by 10 80 the game was running at its absolute minimal visual quality.

  • I was just running around the map exploring, and after taking an average from 30 minutes of game play, it seems we were hitting 50 a.

  • F.

  • P s with a 1% love of 30 and a 300.1% low of 21.

  • That's not bad, but I would personally assume that recommended system requirements would mean a solid 60 f p s at high, though as we've seen before, that's not often the case.

  • During one of my favorite missions kick the Hornet's nest, the average dropped, but the percent old figures went up to maintain 60.

  • A resolution drop would be needed, but you'll get pretty close with these specs.

  • A 10 80 p.

  • Put it that way.

  • If you're happier with 30 frames per second, the target consul frame right, then you should be able to use the high preset just about during this intensive mission, expect some drops to the mid twenties, just like the consul versions here is, well, running about yielded a better average, though the percentile figures were nearly unchanged.

  • This game was certainly fairly demanding for those wanting higher settings back in the day.

  • But visual quality didn't get completely sacrificed when using the low preset, which is nice, and when doing so the frame rate improved massively.

  • Of course, not many people built a PC just for one game, though, so I wanted to see what else this budget system was capable off.

  • I find out Battlefield five, which told me that the graphics card was too weak.

  • Which was fair enough, though afterwards, thegame started up as normal.

  • Regardless, it was right.

  • That was from this footage.

  • You'll see that the system really struggled.

  • It's just a CZ.

  • Likely this could be an issue with limited ram.

  • So before going any further, I upped the amount to eight gigabytes.

  • A more sensible choice for budget gaming builds in 2019.

  • With that upgraded, I tried Battlefield five again, and it seems that no matter how much I want it to be, one gig of the ramp just isn't enough.

  • The two core CPU is probably not helping, either.

  • I didn't expect to solid result here, but I thought I test it anyway, just in case we had a surprising set of results on our hands.

  • Now, somehow, Dirt Rally 2.0, actually ran rather well at the ultra low settings with 10 80 p resolution.

  • The dirt serious has always been fairly well optimized, especially at lower settings.

  • But I was surprised to see the system handling the game with close to 40 frames per second.

  • I think even bumping things up to Low may have had a pretty negative effect.

  • But to be honest, I was happy with this performance simply because I didn't expect the game to run well at all.

  • The I 35 30 57 70 worked very well together, and the eight gig RAM upgrade probably offers a nice helping hand at 7 20 p.

  • Fallout four managed to touch that 60 FBS frame rate limit with the low settings, but a 10 80 There were certainly some cases whereby we saw less than 30.

  • I think that one gigabyte V ram isn't really enough, and it's probably being that way for a few years that said the results were very depending on the game because, as you saw dirt to was tearing along just fine.

  • I think the eye three could also be paired with a more powerful graphics card.

  • If I'm honest, because throughout my time with it, it seems to still have more to give.

  • With the 57 70 running at 99 to 100% usage and the CPU plodding along just fine, finally, then attested GT five, which also warned me about graphics memory.

  • Despite this 10 80 p, normal was still doable, but a lower resolution would certainly be the way to go once again.

  • It really is a mixed bag when it comes to gaming on these components, but I certainly do think that the eye three has a little more to give.

  • So there are a few things worth noting here at the end of the video, the first that it's never a good idea to build a PC that caters specifically toe one games minimum or even recommended system requirements.

  • Now we've tried this before, and more often than not we've seen that it doesn't always work out, but I think one exception to this rule, maybe indie games, ones that recommend integrated Intel or AM D graphics such as the HD 4000.

  • Serious, for example.

  • Because if a developer of indie titles are putting out specs like that, then you can probably expect it to run on almost anything.

  • I'm sure there are some exceptions, so that rules as well that I don't so let him talk about the 11 56 Bold, which this system was based around.

  • Of course, we were using the cheapest and the first I three process of the 5 30 which features to cause and four threaten still seems to hold up okay, especially when you consider that you can purchase it.

  • But just £1 at C E X.

  • That really is a no brainer if you have an 11 56 board in your system.

  • If you've already gotten 11 56 board, chances are you've got a better CPU than the eye.

  • 35 30.

  • But if you can find one of those Bolts Street, you're looking for a simple set up that's not going to cost you too much.

  • Then it may be worth thinking about because the eye fives and I sevens are only going to be better than this, and they'll probably still provide you with a semi decent frame rates even in 2019.

  • Of course, once you buy the best of seven you can on that circuit, there isn't really much of an upgrade path after that.

  • So it will be interesting toe, see what the best I seven on the 11 56 platform can really do.

  • I'm not sure if we've checked that out in the past, but there we go.

  • There also available very low prices on places like eBay, Amazon, C E X, and sometimes you can pick a great deal up on the Facebook marketplace as well.

  • We have taken a look back at the eye 35 30 on a couple of occasions, and we were testing it once against the first courted Quad CPU.

  • You can go back and watch all of these videos, and it might give you some insight as to whether one of these is right for you.

  • The third and final thing I'd like to mention it's the radio on HD 57 70.

  • I don't think I could recommend that card in 2019 unless you're looking to put together something very basic.

  • That may surprise you in a few instances, but it's always gonna be hit or miss.

  • You might fire up again, and you're constantly be wondering whether or not the 57 70 can actually run.

  • That title, which you saw with the two, did absolutely fine despite the one gig of Iran.

  • But in other titles there will be some heavy frame drops, and I don't think a faster process er is really going to help out all that much if a tall in some cases one gig of Iran has.

  • Well, while we're on the subject, I don't think it's enough anymore.

  • That's probably been the case, as I said for a couple of years.

  • Personally id being kind to look out for cards with two gigs of G D.

  • D R.

  • Five or more Judy are five is always preferable to G DDR three or even DDR three.

  • All in all, though, for a £50 build, I don't think it's too bad for your basic everyday usage in a phew like games.

  • It's going to do okay, especially in those older titles titles like Fight Crime three, that despite not really living up to what I'd expect from recommended system requirements did okay, albeit with slightly lower settings.

  • With all that said, I hope you've enjoyed today's video.

  • I was just in the mood to build another cheap gaming rig on a limited budget, and I thought, Why not focusing on far cry three?

  • Considering my friends still uses the build that he put together specifically for this game, I could have just probably asked to borrow it.

  • But, you know, I'd rather build it myself.

  • Anyway, Thank you for watching if you enjoyed it even like believe it.

  • It's like if you didn't subscribe to the channel, if you haven't done so already and hopefully I'll see you all in the next one.

had ever wanna welcome to another video.
