of what I would like the debates to be,

but I do think it would be cool

if you could just watch debates

where people just proposed what they're gonna do,

as opposed to trying to attack another person.

Do you know what I mean?

Like, it's the age old player hating thing,

do you know what I mean?

Because here's my issue with it.

My issue is there's no fact checking at a debate.

That's my big issue.

So I never understood that when I'd watch American debates

and then people just say things

and then the moderator asks a question and then that's it.

And then another person can attack that person

and they say that's not true, that's true,

but there's no one who comes out and says,

"Well, here's the actual truth."

So I don't understand why the attacking is part of it.

It should just be like, "What are you gonna do?"

"I'm gonna give people free healthcare."

"What are you gonna do?"

"I'm not gonna do that."

(Trevor laughs) (audience laughs)

Okay, cool.

And then if you're sitting at home, you're like,

"Yeah, I want free healthcare.

Or you're like, "No, I don't like losing

"private health insurance

"or I don't think it'll be good for the economy."

But you make your decision as opposed to someone.

It's like, do you remember old school R&B songs?

There was always a lot of player hating going on,

do you know what I mean?

I didn't like those songs.

I always liked it where the guy was just like:

♪ Girl, I'm gonna treat you right ♪

♪ I'm gonna kiss you right ♪

I like those songs.

I didn't like it when it was like:

♪ I seen your man, girl ♪

♪ He doesn't treat you right ♪

♪ He doesn't look ♪

♪ Does he cook for you, girl ♪

♪ Yeah ♪

♪ Does he make love to you all night ♪

Then I'm like, don't involve,

now are you making me look shitty?

Like promise your thing, don't make me look bad.

Just be like, "I'll make love to you all night."

And then I'll be like,

"Yo, I'm doing the best I can right now in this moment."

Don't, like, make it a thing.

I don't like player haters, man.

Just say your thing and then move on.
