  • Hi, everyone.

  • Andi, welcome back to my channel.

  • I am sitting down Thio refill this beginning part of this video because a lot has changed in the last two weeks.

  • Andi, I want to make sure that everything is hopefully coming in this.

  • I feel like I forget so much, but I still wanted to put this video up.

  • So if you don't know A few weeks ago, there was a video made about me on the Internet.

  • The video was not malicious.

  • The video waas very well executed, very eloquently put together on Dhe.

  • I honestly, I watched it and I was like, Wow, that could have been so much worse.

  • But what the video did was raise a number off really important questions.

  • I think that I have covered a lot of those questions about my channel.

  • In this video, the girl who made the video actually emailed me to tell me that she had taken it down.

  • I know that a lot of people thought that I bullied her into taking it down.

  • We had the most wonderful conversation on Dhe.

  • She was Yeah, it was just lovely on.

  • I'm not mentioning her name in this video.

  • purely because she didn't do anything wrong.

  • She raised some really great questions on Dhe.

  • She's just kind of found herself caught up in this.

  • I also wanted to apologize as well for the quality of the camera that I was using when I film.

  • Yeah, I don't I don't know what, what?

  • That waas.

  • But I watched it back, and I was like, This is awful.

  • Like, I don't know whether it was the lighting, but to be honest, I've stopped using that camera now.

  • And I'm back on my old one with my smashed screen.

  • I wanted to address these things.

  • And I feel like the fact that this girl made this video was the perfect opportunity and the perfect talking point for me to do that.

  • So this isn't any drama.

  • It's no any tea.

  • It's just me doing what I do best in defending myself.

  • It's a long one.

  • I'm sorry, but I hope that you stick around on Dhe watch till the end.

  • Because I'm really hoping to just put this stuff to bed on Dhe.

  • Hopefully, we can move on from it.

  • Hi, guys.

  • Rights.

  • I'm getting my shoes off.

  • I'm getting comfortable as usual.

  • I feel like I need to call this room the rant room because I seem to be filming a lot of my like, chatty discussions last rent videos with you in this exact spot.

  • I think this is a good video to film.

  • It might be long.

  • It might be one of those videos that you kind of put on and you don't have to watch like a podcast.

  • But after I made the video about online trolling, I no, I only found that quite is the word cathartic?

  • Is that the right word?

  • Or if I just made that up But no, only was it just it was great to get it off my chest and to speak to you guys about it.

  • I actually feel like, ah, lot of good has come from that.

  • Ah, nde.

  • I'm very glad I made It is scary.

  • Is it waas on?

  • It's made me realize that getting things off my chest on just talking to you guys is the best, like the best course of action in everything.

  • So I'm hoping that this video will be the last time that I ever have to talk about any of these subjects.

  • ever again.

  • I might even put this video as my channel trailers, though, that should anyone come on to my channel, they'll know a little bit more about me on dhe, potentially anything they might have read about me or heard or whatever about me because there's a lot of stuff said about a lot of people online.

  • Like I said, I think that talking about the things on having a chap out, I'm just being honest is a really, really good thing to do.

  • Now.

  • The reason that I am making this video, I've never, ever had a video made about me that I've seen anywhere lately.

  • There are any videos made about me by other YouTubers.

  • So touch with That's really good.

  • That was until I think it was Saturday.

  • Yeah, or Friday, I don't know.

  • But it was brought to my attention that a video had been made about me.

  • I watched the video, and I think in the grand scheme of things, I think that video could've been worse, like it literally could have been worse.

  • I also I didn't really want to make this video because I didn't want to attract attention to that because I have a bit of a thing, especially if they are a youtuber.

  • I don't like it when they make videos about other YouTubers because I I feel like we're we're all in this together on Dhe.

  • If you are a YouTube, you understand?

  • Maybe not all but some of the worries on dhe.

  • The difficulties off doing this on dhe.

  • I like to think that if someone wants to discuss something with me, they can slide into my diem's and we can have a discussion there.

  • Now, this particular bus did slide into my diem's, but it was more she wanted to, like, interview me about this stuff on her channel on.

  • If I'm going to talk about anything like this, I'm gonna do it on my terms in my way.

  • But I'm also gonna sit back and wait until you do your video.

  • So I know what it's all about.

  • Andi.

  • I watched the video, and in all honesty, it upsets me a little bit because the reason this video came about is because she listed me as one of her top UK YouTubers, which is obviously, so, so wonderful to be listed as that.

  • And I'm so grateful for anyone.

  • That class is me as one of their favorite YouTubers because there are so many people out there for you to choose little old me.

  • That means a hell of a lot to me.

  • But on her video she had a couple of comments, a few comments, I don't know how many.

  • I didn't see the video about me and what I am like as a person.

  • And this these comments all came from people that don't know me.

  • And so these comments are just sort of assumptions.

  • And it seemed like this person saw those comments and it altered her view of me on that was what I got.

  • I also read all of the comments on this video about me and from what she was saying, she was like responding to people and saying, Yeah, I hadn't thought about this until these people said these things and I was like, That's such a shame that someone has allowed the opinions of people that don't know me thio altar, me being her favorite YouTube.

  • But I thought that was so sad to read through the comments and I was able to pick out a few points that I wanted Thio to just discuss and put to bed.

  • And hopefully, you know, it just makes everything a little bit.

  • I don't know.

  • It makes everything make a little bit more stents because I can understand.

  • It's quite difficult when you're watching someone on the Internet.

  • You're only seen snippets of their lives.

  • So if someone says something like, this is my favorite cushion Andi, I said that on my channel.

  • But then one day I was looking at this cushion on.

  • I was like, Oh, but actually this cushions a little bit more symmetrical.

  • So actually, this is my favorite cushion.

  • Someone would call me a liar because I said that that was my favorite cushion first.

  • But now this is my favorite cushion.

  • But I have no explained to you what happened in between that Does that make sense?

  • You don't see everything and you don't you don't get the full view.

  • And I think that a lot of people understand this for the most part, and reading through the comments on that video on a seat.

  • Some of you girls are so, so intelligent and so you have such a way with words of explaining things.

  • You are so positive and supportive.

  • Actually, I think I picked out a few of the comments on able to flip this whole thing into something far more positive.

  • That was what I was sort of going along the lines with it.

  • With my video, I wanted to make something that was essentially quite a negative thing into something that is positive because I've got nothing to hide.

  • They really don't on dhe.

  • I certainly won't be ableto film my life if I had something to hide.

  • So I thought that we could sit down and go through a few of the main points that may have cropped up in the video may have cropped up in the comments and just hurt those things to bed on.

  • Hopefully, this will be the last time that I ever have to talk about these things.

  • Like I said, Hopefully it this is just what do you say, Like my my final thought like Like, was it Jerry Springer's thought Springer's thought was it?

  • Was it him or Maury Povich, who had their final thought?

  • Whoever it was, this is Lydia's final vote, but I think that I've managed to bring a few points to the surface that we can talk about.

  • So the 1st 1 is I've changed.

  • So there was a few comments about where I was when I started my channel, where I am now on Dhe.

  • A few people that, you know, they watched my videos in the beginning and they loved me and it was so supportive.

  • And now they don't watch my videos because they can't stand me first and foremost here.

  • I don't want to be the same person that I waas last year, two years ago or three years ago.

  • I am someone that thrives from growth from moving forward, progressing.

  • I, um, someone who likes to achieve things.

  • I enjoy working.

  • I enjoy building things as in, like, a career or a life, just anything that's quite positive on Dhe.

  • It's a strange one for me because there were a few a few comments that were like, Oh, I liked her when she lived in her humble house, a little feel like I want to call my old health my humble house.

  • When I moved into that house, that house to me, it was that was it.

  • That was my life sorted.

  • I had my own house.

  • Wow.

  • I was no longer dependent on anyone.

  • I had my own castle.

  • Is it waas now through the different elements of my career on dhe?

  • What's happened on Dhe?

  • My job and all of this stuff I was able to go on and by my second home on our second home on Dhe.

  • That's something that's kind of a natural progression progression.

  • No, not always.

  • Do you buy a second home?

  • That is necessarily like this, but generally, like all of our friends are kind of at the same point in their lives us that they're buying their second homes on DDE.

  • Their second homes are a lot bigger than their first homes on dhe.

  • They're just It's just that natural progression of life like me are friends enjoy their careers.

  • They enjoy progressing on the differences is just that You guys are watching me evolve and grow into a different person.

  • I've become a hopefully better person.

  • I think that got when I look back at my first videos, I I honestly I don't like that person.

  • I see a lot like a lot of my videos.

  • I look well.

  • You look like a little bit of an attitude problem.

  • Lydia on, I honestly is.

  • It's a little bit mortifying for me to watch my older videos because I feel like I'm such a comma, Andi, more well rounded human being.

  • But I get that not everyone is going to feel that way.

  • But what you do have to understand is that you won't be the same person that you were five years ago on dhe.

  • I bet you don't want to be that person on.

  • If I knew you, maybe I wouldn't have liked the person that you've become.

  • But I really liked the old you and that's normal.

  • And I just think that to expect me to stay in the same place on be the same person and not grow into what I classed as a better human being.

  • It's not realistic on dhe.

  • Your kind of setting yourself up to be disappointed by that, because everyone grows, everyone progresses.

  • Whether you think I've progressed or regressed is by the by.

  • I like to think that I'm working towards my own goals.

  • I like to think I'm working on the person that I am and becoming a better person, and that's only a positive thing for me.

  • If it's not positive for you, you may have just grown apart from my videos, and that's fine.

  • But I think that we have to stop expecting the people that we follow or the people that we like on the Internet to always be the person that we want them to be and allow them to grow into the person that they are going to be.

  • Whether we like that or not, it's about accepting people, accepting people for who they are and understanding if that person no longer appeals to you that you could just move on.

  • There are so many amazing creates is out there that will take all of the boxes for the kind of creators that you want to watch, and it's just about finding them.

  • Acceptance is a wonderful thing, and I think that we all need to learn to accept each other's growth on understand that it might not work.

  • It might not be the sort of growth that we hoped for, but it is still growth on DDE that is only ever a positive thing.

  • Now this brings me on to my next subject.

  • Actually, I'm freestyling here because it's no actually what my next subject was, so we're just gonna go with it.

  • It's comparison now, one of the best things that viewers can do.

  • Or if you're feeling any kind of negative feelings towards someone that you're watching, too, not compare your life to theirs because I often see a lot of people in the comments.

  • And there was a lot of comments on this video comparing me to other YouTubers.

  • Now, if there's one thing that we as women don't need, but also just us as people, we do not need to be comparing ourselves or be being compared to other people.

  • We are all individuals on dhe.

  • We will never be the same as one person or the other person on.

  • That's the beauty off.

  • What we've done on the Internet here is that basically, we've created this movement off women doing their own thing, being their own person on def like minded individuals happen to stumble across that content and think, you know what?

  • I really like what she's doing.

  • I'm gonna follow along with this.

  • We build this supportive network around us on, especially for women.

  • This is pretty much a female dominant industry on that's quite a few and far between.

  • It does really highlight such a huge aspect off female nature on this constant pitting of each other against each other is it's It's tiring, it's boring and it's completely unnecessary.

  • And I think that this is the one thing that I really wish as a culture amongst women we could stop doing.

  • It blows mine on Carrie's mind because we are obviously, I would say, the tightest of best friends that we work together day in, day out and then we hang out together at the weekends because we we love each other so much.

  • And if we do anything together online, it is a constant pitting of each other against each other, and we read through these comments.

  • I mean, we are able to identify how toxic that mentality is.

  • Luckily, that doesn't exist in our friendship on we haven't really well rounded friendship where where competition is not an element, this constant pitting of women against each other has to stop.

  • I am not like so and so who talks about luxury over here on?

  • I am not like so and so who talks about luxury over here.

  • If you prefer that person, that's really end, and it's so great that you've been able to find someone that you really like.

  • But that doesn't mean that you use me in order to elevate that person.

  • And it doesn't mean that you use that person in order to insult me.

  • It's become very prevalent online.

  • I might have just made up a word there, but other ways we shall go with it.

  • It's such a prevalent thing online where the I see time and time again, not just in my comments on not just on my videos.

  • I see it everywhere.

  • If I just take a picture with another woman, it happens and it's honestly so sad.

  • If there's one thing that I would like to give you to take away with you is that you do not need to put anyone or anything down in order to elevate someone else.

  • It is something that you can just appreciate maybe no even comment on or basically just said.

  • You know what, girls?

  • You both look great.

  • You're both killing it on DDE.

  • Leave it.

  • That's the next thing that I acknowledged in the comments was there was a number a number of comments that were saying, I'm a liar now This goes back to what I started off talking about when I was explaining about the cushions and how I might say that I like this cushion.

  • But then later on, I might realize that actually discussions really good, too.

  • And I actually prefer this cushion that doesn't make me a liar, that I said that I liked this cushion.

  • It just means I'm a person and I'm able to change my mind.

  • And I'm sure I have no doubt that the straws will be clutched out in the comments of what I could potentially have lied about on my channel.

  • But you cannot throw accusations like that around.

  • If you were to do that in the workplace or in person with anyone, that's really quite serious thing to accuse someone of just outright lying about things and misleading those comments are very serious things to say.

  • Very, very serious accusations to throw around when you don't I have facts, and I know that the girl that made the video did bring up something that I honestly I had no idea what she was talking about.

  • She mentioned about some gifted products that was called up by the S A.

  • That's that was again that was not fact in any way, shape or form.

  • The dealings that I have had with the A s A have always come down to sponsored content, which is declared sponsored.

  • But they're just unsure of whether it's declared in the right way, which they admit is not a one size fits all things.

  • So I'm doing it in the best way that I know how on the most what's the word transparent way that I know how on dhe they're coming in and being like all, Maybe if you did it this way or no, but then that might be problematic that way.

  • So we have had discussions, and we've had meetings on dhe.

  • I've worked really closely with them to ensure that I'm being as transparent as possible with my sponsorships, and I often disclosed multiple times.

  • Now there's a difference between a sponsored add video whereby I sit on.

  • I just talked to you about a sponsored product or service or whatever for five minutes on my channel on that, be that, and then there is a difference between me during my vlog, my normal normal log and then a very small section within that video being part of a sponsored collaboration.

  • It's very, very different.

  • I always like to do my sponsored content, the latter because I don't feel comfortable just putting out a five or 15 minute video, which is just a sponsored video, because I preferred to create a little bit more substance.

  • Like If you watch TV on, you're watching an episode of peaky Blinders, for example.

  • You'll get peaky blinders on, then an ad in between.

  • And then you'll get more peaky blinders and then an ad in between.

  • That's kind of how I approach things on my channel.

  • And there there will be a small section off a video so that you're not just feeling like you're getting a five minute ad or half an hour ad.

  • There's more substance my videos on.

  • Everything feels a little bit more fluid, and that's how I like to do things.

  • No, everyone's the same, and there is no right and wrong in this.

  • But for me, as someone who also watches videos on watches, sponsored content, that always feels right to me, and that's all this is about.

  • We're doing things that feel right to us, and it may it may not feel right to someone else on.

  • It may be completely different how someone else does things, but that's the beauty of this industry.

  • We get to do things how we see fit on dhe.

  • Then we worked things out with the essay on how we disclose that accordingly, which is something that I have done on Guy always aimed to do in the most honest, on transparent way.

  • Basically, now, when it comes to gifted product, this is something I admit that I do struggle with, because not that I struggle with disclosing.

  • It's very easy to disclose it, but I often forget what is either gifted or what is like partly gifted.

  • I mean, I've been doing this a long time.

  • Also, forgive me.

  • It's also not something I actually care about.

  • I just want to interject in this point here because watching this back, it did make me realize that I needed to film a little additional point to put in here because I wanted to make it clear on what I'm saying Here on, I'm not just saying that I don't care about gifting product.

  • What I mean by that is that I, as a consumer, don't care.

  • So when I'm watching creators, I really, really enjoyed watching.

  • I never think about whether they're gifted something.

  • It's not something at the forefront of my mind, and it doesn't change what I take from their review.

  • However, obviously, as a creator myself on this side, I do care and I have to care.

  • And so there's a little bit of conflict sh in there because it may not see it as like my highest priority, because I because I as a consumer, don't care.

  • I also think that maybe some consumers don't care, either.

  • On Dhe, that's mainly what I was trying to get across, and I felt like that could easily be misconstrued by what I said.

  • Now I know that there are some people that do really care about knowing when something is gifted, and I totally understand that for me, I don't care like when I'm watching someone's content is never a thought in my mind as to whether with a gifted that, because I know that he actually for the most part when you reach a certain what's the word when I think when you reach a certain level, that's sort of novelty, I guess has worn off.

  • And that's just me being honest.

  • It might sound like I'm I'm being ungrateful and I really don't want that to come across.

  • But I also want you to understand that I'm just being quite frank with you, honest.

  • Nobody can sway my opinion by gifting me something, and that is the long and short of it sponsored content.

  • I understand that is a very sort of clear cut thing, and I really did try quite hard with that.

  • But sometimes with gifted put it on my own, more gold.

  • I really don't care and I'm sorry.

  • I'm just I'm just telling you how I feel about it, and it's and I'm also trying to make you understand that it's no A sinister is as I think, that it's been been built up.

  • To be to call someone a liar over things like that is I mean, we're all just trying to navigate this in our own way, and obviously a year ago we didn't have to declare gifted product.

  • It really wasn't a requirement on Dhe because it wasn't an important thing to me.

  • I didn't do it that I didn't feel like I was being sinister in.

  • Anyway, it was just Oh, I've received this thing and I actually really quite like it.

  • So I'll tell you about it.

  • A lot of the things that I am gifted.

  • And if I used them all up or something like that, I will Then go on, Andi repurchase with my own money if I haven't already done that before and it just isn't it isn't a sinister as it is as I feel like it can sometimes be like worked up to be, I think that calling someone a liar over these things when, especially when our entire industry is built off of honesty and authenticity, I sometimes feel like that is a really quite serious attempt to just discredit someone.

  • I think for the most part, people tend to have their heads screwed on on dhe.

  • They know the even if I pick up this lipstick which I've got and I actually need to reapply from Valtteri, this is not sponsored.

  • And I tell you that this is the best lipstick that you will ever buy in your life.

  • like this will change your life and you will go on to conquer the world.

  • You'll probably become President.

  • Ahn Dhe.

  • Everything you ever wanted in life will become yours if I tell you that.

  • And you go and buy this lipstick and nothing.

  • Nothing happens like that, you know, to never buy anything that I tell you to buy again because it's a load of crap.

  • So you might have been burned once you won't be burnt again because our trust is gone.

  • And that's something that I know.

  • That's something that I know really, really Deep down in my heart, I know that if I tell you that something is great and it's no, you're not gonna trust me again.

  • But there is also the knowledge that sometimes something that I think is really, really great isn't gonna be something that you think is really great on Dhe.

  • Something that was touched on in the video is being a smart consumer.

  • So knowing that, you know, you also have to exercise some common sense on also, you know, do your research.

  • If ever I'm watching something on, there are certain people that I watch and I'm just like I want to like, if I ever watch anything that kosher does that That girl Oh, my God.

  • She makes me want to, like, give every every penny I have Thio beauty brands because she's like, you need this.

  • I'm not all God, I can't even hang out with her because she tells me about something and I could just see my bank balance going.

  • Oh, doesn't mean that it's gonna work for me on DDE.

  • To be honest, they always have on Dhe.

  • She's great at what she does, and she's an amazing creator.

  • But there is also the importance to exercise and element off your own common sense.

  • On dhe.

  • I take my job very seriously, and I take take my collaborations very seriously.

  • There are elements that you will never see that go on behind the scenes.

  • That again, I think, comes down to common sense.

  • You'll never see how many brands get turned down on a daily basis.

  • In my office, you'll never see the amount of money that gets turned down.

  • In fact, there's one that sticks in my mind.

  • I had a skincare brand come in to work with me, and they work with a lot of us influences.

  • I wasn't excited by the brand.

  • I've never tried it.

  • None of their products really were that exciting to me in any way, shape or form.

  • And so, you know, I was just like, No, I've never used your products, so I'm not gonna work with you.

  • And then I went into boots on I realized they were selling in boots and so I purchased something from them.

  • I purchased a cleanser Cleanses don't really ever changed the world, but this was a great great cleanser on DDE.

  • I was I all got little Did I know that all of the U.

  • S.

  • Influences Orion.

  • It's an insane brand on DDE.

  • That is just one example of something you won't see.

  • And I'm not gonna stay.

  • What brand thatwas?

  • Because I'm sure that there is a creator now working with that Brad, and that's their dream collaboration on.

  • I don't need to mention who they were and that they might have come to me first because there was absolutely one thing that I would never do in this channel on that is try and steal someone else's thunder because that's not my style.

  • I don't want Thio come for any of my other creators.

  • There's so much work going around on.

  • I know that sometimes my amazing collaborations that come in may have been offered to someone else before me.

  • But I don't need Thio go into detail on that.

  • But it's just an example of the things that you don't see on how much is going on behind the scenes and that it's really important for you to exercise your common sense.

  • Be a smart consumer like the lovely girl on the video gone itchy.

  • I Sorry, Uh, if you're not believing what the creator that you're watching is telling you, then I would suggest that that's not creative.

  • You, Andi, you should continue on your hunt for the creators that you do believe or maybe just don't watch creators and maybe buy some beauty products and just test them out for yourself and find out what you like.

  • But I know.

  • But on my channel, all I'm ever trying to do is help the people that might be interested in that.

  • So if you're looking for a retinal on dhe, I found a really good one.

  • If you might have been on the hunt for the same kind of retinal.

  • I found a good one.

  • You don't have to go buy it.

  • And in fact, don't ever impulse purchase anything from my videos.

  • That is not what I want you to do.

  • What I really, really want you to do is listen to what I have to say.

  • Think about what it is that you want from a product or or a fashion piece or whatever it is that you're looking for and that I'm talking to you about.

  • Think about things, think things through and just be smart with the decisions that you're making on dhe.

  • That's that's what I want.

  • That's what I really, really want.

  • Gotta sound like Spice Girls.

  • When I'm talking to you about products, I want you to know that I'm not pushing them on you.

  • I'm just giving you my opinion, and that's what this whole industry is built on.

  • The fact that we just started a blogger or started an instagram or started a YouTube where we were trying a product and actually wow this product really good, really good.

  • So much so that I want to tell you about it.

  • It's not sinister.

  • It's not.

  • We're not forcing you to buy anything.

  • Ah, nde were certainly for the majority of us not trying to hide the fact that we that work with friends or with being gifted them.

  • But the fact that I don't care about the whole PR gifting thing it doesn't mean that I'm going to try and hide that from you.

  • It's just that sometimes I might forget Andi, I'm sorry.

  • And I'll always do my best.

  • But I am human.

  • And once I even forgot to add at the beginning of a sponsored post and I really didn't mean to do that.

  • But I forgot it.

  • I copied and pasted my caption on dhe.

  • I've missed the and Bill from the beginning, and it was terrible.

  • But you know, I'm human and I make mistakes.

  • Okay?

  • These ones should be fairly quick.

  • My weight.

  • Okay, I've actually So what?

  • I've never really seen that many comments about my weight or my size, but there was a few, and I thought that this would be a good thing.

  • Thio discuss.

  • I've always been quite slender on Slim.

  • That's like just my body type.

  • Really?

  • I was always really athletic at school.

  • My dad's quite slender.

  • I mean, my mom's Italian, so that's something generally quite fluctuates.

  • But I think I'm more like my dad than I am my mom.

  • But there were people saying I was a bad example to people.

  • Now I I can't really do anything about that.

  • A UK size 46 is catered for in the shops.

  • Therefore, there are people out there who are a UK size 46 just like me on DDE.

  • When I talk about fashion on how things fit on my channel, the only size that I can refer to because my channel is about me is my size, and I work out regularly.

  • So it's not like my body comes easily to me.

  • As much as I'm built a certain way, I work how very regularly I have a PT.

  • I eat healthily as much as possible, although I do like drinking on I do love cheese cheese way more than I love chocolate as well, Which is so which one thing to note is.

  • Sometimes I do experience sudden weight loss, and I think that that was picked up on quite recently, and the one thing that I can say to you is that people have have different coping mechanisms to stress on dhe.

  • My my body, it's coping mechanism to sadness and stress is I lose my appetite on it completely.

  • It completely disappears on.

  • Obviously recently, I have been sad.

  • I have I'm trying not to cry.

  • I have been sad and I've been dealing with with something and I'm trying not to mention it because literally, my last three videos have been about it.

  • But I have been sad on DDE in order to cope and manage that feeling.

  • I my body does what it has to do and my my appetite will come back on.

  • I will be fine on.

  • I'm sure I will put that weight back on on.

  • Everything will return to normal, but it's like around my my wedding or which I will get Thio around my wedding.

  • I think it was within a two week period.

  • I lost an entire inch off my waist.

  • My wedding dress designer Kate was obviously devastated because I was just losing weight so quickly.

  • But I was stressed.

  • We were buying a house, I was getting married.

  • I was also not coping that great with being on the Internet, and I was sad on that is just something that the happens.

  • So I hope that people understand that sometimes if I lose weight or if I'm looking not that healthy, it's probably because I've got something going on in my life that's affecting me on Dhe.

  • That's just my body's way of coping and managing stress on dhe.

  • That's how I've always been, especially heartbreak.

  • Heartbreak is a killer.

  • I totally lose my appetite.

  • But as for me setting a bad example, you know I'm a healthy person on this channel.

  • I don't smoke, I eat my veggies and I eat salads and I eat healthily.

  • And I don't eat much meat on dhe.

  • I'm a very healthy person.

  • I don't take drugs.

  • I don't smoke on Guy think that that's probably quite a well rounded example being set on the Internet, but stressed has a funny way of sideswiping you on DSO again.

  • I think just exercising a little bit of empathy towards people on dhe thinking all.

  • Maybe maybe she's having a bit of a rough time or so and so who reacts in a completely different way and their appetite may increase when they're stressed or when they're sad.

  • Rather than telling them all, you put on weight, maybe just try to understand that they're probably They probably got their own person where she's going on on, be a little bit kinder to them.

  • I hope that that touches on my weight a little bit.

  • I don't want to make a big thing out of it because it's not a big thing.

  • I am the size that I am on Dhe.

  • I'm a healthy person at the same time, so hopefully that's actually just a really good example.

  • I don't know, okay, so obviously I've been quite open with a lot of things on my channel.

  • I've made videos about my like cosmetic surgeries and things like that, and I've been open about my my boobs and my nose and things like that.

  • I obviously had a nonsurgical nose job, which was best thing I ever did.

  • I paid for it myself.

  • I get a lot of a lot of comments about people saying she's got a face full of Phyllis and I think I've been quite honest with you guys and I know that there are people out there that don't want to talk about these things, and that's their thing.

  • And that's something that we need to learn to respect again.

  • We can all exercise a bit of common sense when looking at someone.

  • And if someone looks really, really different to how they did, you know, six months ago, perhaps they have done something.

  • But they're not your mom on.

  • They don't have to be open about every personal decision they make just so that you're informed on Andi.

  • I feel the same way.

  • I when I look at someone and I think no, they changed quite a bit or their lips have got bigger or they've done this so they done that.

  • They've probably had that done, but they don't have to talk about that.

  • They don't have Thio Thio declare that information to me because, you know, I think that I'm able to use my common sense and acknowledge that myself.

  • You don't need to expose that person on the Internet, and you certainly don't need Thio.

  • Use it as a zone opportunity to belittle them.

  • Will there be things that I have done in the future that I don't feel the need to share with you?

  • It's it's quite possible, to put it bluntly.

  • I don't intend on growing old.

  • Ah, gracefully.

  • I'm going to do it disgracefully.

  • I don't want to look like I've had loads.

  • Stuff done by, you know, might have a little bit of help here.

  • In there on, I will only ever talk to you about these things.

  • If I feel a bit of benefit to you in the sense that I can help advise you on where to go or on a treatment, that maybe there's not much about like I did with my nose.

  • That was something that I had never even considered.

  • And I'm still so glad that I made that video because I know how many of you went on to have the same procedure on dhe experience.

  • What a life changing thing it was if he didn't like knows.

  • And now you like nose.

  • Hopefully that helped.

  • Just because they're on the Internet doesn't mean they have to share that kind of information with anyone in terms off me, because people seem to say that I have a face full of killers.

  • I do not have a face full of killers.

  • For some reason, people always think that I have had my cheeks done on.

  • I've had my lips done.

  • All I can tell you is this the same thing that I tell people time and time again.

  • I have not had fillers in my lips.

  • I have not had Philip's in my cheeks on dhe.

  • That's the final word on it.

  • Like I'm so bored of this subject.

  • I really am, like again accusing someone of something that you have no factual information on, other than the fact that the angle and the light at that time might have made it look like I had something done to my cheeks just because or maybe extra puffy that day.

  • Jeez, I hope that that puts finally the subject of Philip's Thio bed, although I have no doubt in my mind that it won't which is so sad it really is so sad.

  • The next subject, the next subject.

  • There seemed to be quite a few comments about my wedding on DDE, My Wedding being sponsored by Jo Malone, My wedding just being sponsored in general, on Dhe again.

  • I feel like this is a subject that I have spoken about so much, and I think it's so sad because our wedding day I wish you guys were there.

  • I wish you guys were there because it was such a joy that day, and I've never felt so removed from what I do for a job.

  • In all my life, it was barely mentioned.

  • My family and Ali's family, they don't really.

  • I understand that much about what we do.

  • If I'm being perfectly on, it's like they get it and they like.

  • But they don't really understand that much.

  • My mom more than anyone.

  • So it's not something that was really a factor at our wedding.

  • We shot no sponsored content on our wedding day.

  • In fact, I I got my phone now at one point to take a picture of my breakfast and Carrie from Wish Wish wish you her and her husband, where our wedding photographers, she said, Put your phone away.

  • This is your wedding day, and that's exactly what I did.

  • And I did not think about my phone for the rest of the entire time that we were there, and it was wonderful.

  • It really was.

  • I've never felt so removed and separate and just Lydia than I did on those three days and it was the most wonderful experience now the sponsored side of things.

  • And I'm so sad still be going on about this.

  • I really am.

  • But was I paid for anything on my wedding day?

  • No, no element off my wedding day was paid for On that is plain, simple fact because it's me who organized the whole thing.

  • It was my job on Ali's job.

  • Was the house sourcing without my job was the wedding.

  • So I can sit here and tell you that no part off my wedding was sponsored where we given some PR products for our wedding?

  • Yes, we were, Yes, we were.

  • Were some of those products Jo Malone candles?

  • Yes, they were.

  • Jo Malone did kindly give us some candles, which I've still got so many of them because they are so precious.

  • And I'm so glad that we did do that.

  • And even if they hadn't, I would still have done that because my nostalgic emotion is evoked so much by scent that having sense that reminds you of your wedding day is so important.

  • Sorry, this is not an ad for Jay Malone.

  • It was wonderful.

  • It really, really, really was wonderful.

  • Andi, Were there people that wanted to provide things for us for our wedding day?

  • Yes, there were.

  • We made it painfully clear that there would be like they're they're welcome to do what they what they want to do and give what they want to give.

  • But our wedding day would still be just a wedding day.

  • And if the items that they provided were featured, they were featured because that was something that both Ali and I did not want to worry about on our wedding day.

  • There were also talks about magazine features again.

  • We don't want to do that because we just wanted Thio ensure that we were getting the pictures and doing the things that we wanted to do.

  • And that was just our choices, not low.

  • People do things differently.

  • That was just our choice.

  • My wedding day was magical.

  • It was magic and I I'm thinking about actually putting the full length of our wedding video.

  • I think it's still only 20 minutes because there was just a lot of stuff that didn't need to be left in.

  • But I'm thinking about putting that on my channel because I'd love for you guys to Seymour now that I've, like, had it for myself.

  • Now I don't know what I think.

  • Maybe I'll deal on our anniversary.

  • I don't know.

  • I think the main aspect of things is that yes, we were provided some items from brands which, if anyone has ever planned a wedding, you will know that even if it's just your great uncle Bulgaria who offers to cover the drinks tab on the bar You are so grateful for anything because weddings are so expensive.

  • We obviously we paid full Pharrell wedding than you.

  • They were.

  • We are relations with our wedding venue were quite touch and go on.

  • And quite temperamental.

  • They were beforehand quite difficult to deal with.

  • I can't lie.

  • But on the day they were absolutely flawless like on the actual, like three days that we did for our wedding.

  • They were flawless and we can't fault them.

  • But it was a huge, huge expense, a huge expense that we took on because we wanted to treat our families to a really special experience that we put all of our family up in our wedding venue on.

  • They didn't have to think about things that we sorted food they had hampers in their rooms even like our grandparent's could come and stay such a wonderful thing to be able to do.

  • But it was very, very, very, very, very expensive.

  • And there were hidden charges that we didn't know about that with things that happened that you just unforeseen on dso When people said that they wanted to help us with elements of our wedding day, none of which we shoved down your throat on dhe, none of which we were like You should have this in your wedding.

  • It was just This is what we're having Our wedding on DDE.

  • It might be a little bit of Inspo if you're planning a wedding, but you don't have to buy Jo Malone candles if you don't want to buy Jo Malone candles.

  • And I think that's really important that I say because I now look back our wedding on Di.

  • Do you know what someone asked me the other day?

  • They said, Is there anything that you would change about your wedding?

  • And you know, the only thing that I would change about my wedding was a It wasn't longer, but really the only thing that I would change is the fact that I didn't have a hash tag.

  • I thought it was Cringe E.

  • And now I realize that is actually just clever.

  • So having a hash tag is clever.

  • Always have a hashtag on your wedding because so many videos and pictures were taken on.

  • I'm still like finding them now, two years later.

  • So, yeah, that is the only thing that I would change.

  • But that's what I was talking about.

  • I was talking about the fact that my wedding wasn't sponsored on dhe.

  • It wasn't Andi I that's all right.

  • And then finally the last point because I have let you been talking for an hour.

  • The last point is materialism on dhe luxury fashion on dhe consumerism and a lot of things that were included in that video on DDE that came out in the comments as well.

  • I obviously started my channel off the back of fashion.

  • I've always spoken about high end fashion because even before I was doing YouTube, I was buying handbags.

  • Admittedly, it took me a lot longer to say save up for them then, but it's always been a part of who I am online and I I think that that's why it was such a natural progression into that.

  • I don't do no nearly as many holes as I used to you, and they're certainly a lot smaller on DDE considered than they used to be.

  • I used to order package after package from a sauce.

  • It was real time when a cesspools were like the done thing.

  • I was doing that almost weekly, like I can't believe it.

  • And I look back now and I'm like, I feel like I even just want to take those videos down because I don't do things like that anymore.

  • On a lot of the things that I buy our of a much higher quality on craftsmanship on dhe able to be resold, which is such a great aspect off higher end fashion is that you're able to sell them on and they'll laugh someone else a lifetime.

  • If you're not getting the wear out of them on it, sometimes I will buy something like a Gucci bag on dhe.

  • I'll buy it, and I think this is This is the Gucci bag of dreams.

  • And then, actually it's not the Gucci bag of dreams.

  • It doesn't fit into my wardrobe the way that I thought it would.

  • Andi, I might have to go on and sell it on.

  • Dhe said it to someone else who is actually the Gucci bag of dreams for them again.

  • I'm human.

  • I make mistakes on.

  • I'm never going to be flawless in all of my purchases.

  • But I am conscious.

  • Andi, I am aware of what is going on in the world on.

  • I've already made a number of conscious decisions.

  • Aside from fashion in my life.

  • We don't buy meat in this household anymore.

  • We rarely even buy fish because actually, in the alley has a fish allergy.

  • So we were basically when we're at home, we are completely vegetarian and we don't have butter.

  • We don't have milk When Ali has milk, I don't have milk, and we've made a lot of lifestyle changes, not just our diet, but that's one that one area that we have chosen to really focus on as Zanna, who is one of my favorite creators and one of the biggest inspirations behind the changes that I've made in my life.

  • If you aren't following her, please go and follows and she's great.

  • We're never gonna be perfect on my passion is fashion.

  • I hate it when I say that it makes me feel like a brat stole.

  • That is my passion on.

  • I try and be more conscious with it, but the same time I love.

  • I love buying nice things.

  • I loved buying handbags and shoes and beautiful piece of clothing.

  • That is something that gives me a little bit of joy in my life.

  • My whole life doesn't surround around.

  • That's like it's It's not the epicenter of Huo who I am, but it is the epicenter of this channel on Dhe.

  • That's where this channel started so I can understand the confusion when it comes to whether that's what my life revolves around, because it is what this channel revolves around.

  • I can understand.

  • I can understand the concern around the consumerism of my channel and the materialism.

  • I I understand it, but I think it's also important to understand the kind of channel that you're watching the kind of created that you're watching because you can't be mad at someone for talking about luxury fashion.

  • When you come to a luxury fashion channel, you know what you're getting When you come here on Dhe, if you're going to moan about that, I mean, it's like the vegetable aisle and test goes and and shouting down the aisle that you hate vegetables like it's counterproductive.

  • The vegetables will still be there, even if you don't like them.

  • And I feel like I just made that up.

  • But anyway, I have changed.

  • And yes, I still buy a lot of luxury items on know Some people might not be able to relate to that, but one point I always like to make, which I think is really, really important.

  • There are places like Bond Street, Harrods, Selfridges, even best a village.

  • You know, I'm not just single handedly keeping those places in business.

  • I am a very small fish when I go to those places very, very small fish, and I know that it is sometimes quite difficult.

  • Thio understand that there are such different walks of life.

  • Even when someone tells me that it's someone so bought an island in Bora Bora, my people on the island and island.

  • But that's not my life, and I don't I don't need to understand it because that's just their life.

  • There are a lot of people on this channel that do watch for the luxury items that I purchased and talk about on dhe again, much like my beauty stuff.

  • I'm just hoping to be able to give those people and insight into new trend pieces, whether I think they're worth it, whether they seamlessly fitted into my war
