I think that's gonna be a change of pace.

I think Activision knows that everybody will be tuning into the three for news on the new consoles.

And they want to make sure if you're looking at the new consuls, you're also looking at the new call of duty.

Everybody wants to know what caught 2020 is going to be.

We want to know what's coming next.

We want to know what's on the other side of the fence.

You heard me, right?

Well, black ops five black up soft reboot black ops in a new universe.

Whatever you wanna call it, we're going to discuss it and see if we actually are going to be getting that knee three is only a few months away with the high for the new consoles.

People are eager.

They're eager to see what the big boys have in store.

With all the hype surrounding what Activision is doing would call of duty this year, you have to wonder, Are they going to bring in the big guns free three and make a huge impression for the new systems?

I want to explore that I want to talk about cod 20 twenties Development.

Why, I think we may be getting any three game play reveal this time around and normally condos things its own way, usually teasing their new game in March, dropping a revealed trailer in April or May with gameplay in June, sometimes 83.

Sometimes it their own event.

But with how things were going, I think we may not get a reveal at all until the three.

So let's talk about that because with all these leaks and rumors about war zone and battery al around, this makes a lot of sense to me.

So let's let's get into it.

The development of cotton 2020.

Well, it's been a hectic to say the least.

Originally, development was led by Sledge Hammer.

You guys note the ones behind advanced warfare in God, World War two.

But according various insider reports, Sledge wasn't getting along with Raven Software.

Cons.

Assisted developer.

Apparently, things got so bad that Activision had to step in, pull sledge, and they brought in.

Try hard to piece everything together.

Now this is all speculation and rumor.

None of this is confirmed.

Okay?

Last month, on their investment call, Activision said that caught 2020 is coming and it would release before the holidays.

That's all normal, right?

They refused to say who was leading the development, which is a bad sign.

They always tell us who was leading as a studio.

Now it's one thing to keep a game under wraps until the time is right.

But when you're not even telling your investors who's making your game well, that tells me that they may be wearing.

It's very possible they're still scrambling to figure out what the heck they're supposed to do with this project.

Now this hectic development has led to a ton of conspiracy theories they caught 2020 is actually going to be a re master game instead of a new one.

I actually made a couple videos about these theories myself, if you want to watch.

But regardless, development of Khan, 2020 has been hectic and I think that inevitably, it's going to lead to a later reveal than normal now as a reminder, Black Ops for was first used in March of 2018 and then reeled in May at a community event, which was a really awesome event.

I was there the year before that call of duty World War Two revealed in April and then a multi player was revealed in May, the year before that infinite warfare revealed in April.

Then we had to wait all the way until September for multiplayer game play, which was a little bizarre.

My point.

ISS card games are normally very consistent with their reveals, but the gameplay trailers are normally where things get.

If he I think it's entirely possible, we'll get a tease or even a reveal in the title drop for Cod 2020 in March or April.

But I think it's very likely that activity is going to make us wait until E three for actual gameplay and a E three.

It's It's another topic because a lot of big companies and developing studios have pulled out of the three.

So maybe Activision looks that this is their chance to completely dominate E three with call of duty.

I don't know.

We'll see.

He three takes place from June night through June 11th.

That's my birthday June night, so it wouldn't be too long of the weight if they decided to hold until then.

Also keep in mind that with the new consuls coming out, Activision is going to want to be front and center with their new call of duty.

Remember, call of duty Ghost.

Remember all the press conferences and the crazy high videos that differ that game?

Because it was the first on the new consoles.

Fishy, I everybody expect the same with caught 2020.

This is going to be the first call of duty game on the P S five and Xbox.

Siri's X in Activision wants you to be blown away with the new tech.

So while the oh for in modern Warfare didn't have much of a presence in the three last year on ever caught 2020 I think that's gonna be a change of pace.

I think Activision knows that everybody will be tuning in t three for news on the new consoles, and they want to make sure if you're looking at the new consoles, you're also looking at the new call of duty.

It's also worth noting that quite a few companies they're going to be skipping out on the three this year for one reason or another.

Sony recently announced, I'm not going to have a conference because offa the outbreaks in illness that are affecting their travel plans, which I respect.

It's an issue.

Ink and companies were trying to take every precaution they can to prevent further spread.

So with such a massive name skipping out on the conference, Activision will have as much competition for stage space.

However, it does beg the question of where Activision is going to put their reveal Now.

Normally, Cod reveals Air done Dearing Sony's time as Sony has been the head of her, the leader of call of duty with their deal, which they've had, I think since black ops three, I think that's when it switched over from Xbox Sony, but with Sony not attending.

How is Activision going to get their games on the stage?

I think it is entirely possible that Activision buys out their own conference the way that E A and Bethesda do every year, although it might be a little extreme.

Perhaps the mooch off Microsoft's conference and show it there, I don't know.

Or maybe they'll just shock everybody and drop a trailer or two at random.

I don't really know, but my point is call of duty normally sticks alongside one of the big boys at E three.

But with their big boys not attending this year, you gotta wonder how Activision is going to sneak their way into the conference.

There are very, very smart company.

I'm sure they're going to figure something out, and they know that the community wants to know.

Is this black ops five or is this black ups the reboot like we got modern warfare 2019.

Is this going to be black ups 2020?

I'll tell you right now I've been talking to a lot of people.

We have our team chaos, discord, and a lot of people have said they do not want a black Ops five It's kind of like Terminator black ups.

What was great black ops to possibly one of the best games ever made?

According to a lot of people.

Black ops three.

Amazing Game Got played, still gets played, right?

Black ups for that's where we got a little dicey but 5/5 installment.

I mean, Terminator one and two were great Terminator to being the best of all time.

And then you had another one.

Another one, another one that we just had the final Terminator, which was a complete flop.

My point is there comes a point where you can't milk a franchise anymore, but we're in caught 2020 right?

So what happens if you can't milk a franchise anymore?

You hit it with a reboot.

That's how it works.

That's what they did with modern warfare.

Thio to a success.

I mean to a tune of very good sales for Activision.

Very good micro transactions.

So I don't know.

I really don't.

I personally don't think there's any way we get a Black Ops five.

That's what I'm sticking to until I know different.

I just don't see it happening unless Triarc.

If all the rumors right there absolutely forced to maybe the cut campaign from black ups for that they never got to put out.

Maybe they have assets from that.

And they're gonna throw that into a black ops five.

I don't know, but if they did get thrown on this project, I don't really see a way for them to do a black ops reboot like Infinity War did that.

Took them three years to get this ready.

I know.

I saw the everything that went into that I got t tour early and see it.

It was Aton of assets to make modern warfare.

2019 happen, and I don't see that even being a timeline, that trailer could do so.

I really have no idea what's gonna happen.

I don't.

But I think we're going to find out at e three.

My conclusion is I think it's very possible we see a cod 2020 teaser title drop maybe in March or April, but nothing big.

And then we don't get the full reveal until the three.

Activision wants to capitalize as much as possible on the new consoles, as well as the absence of the other big E three names and they normally take away their stage time, they're gonna get more.

Also, given the hectic development of 2020 as we know right now, I think they're going to need all the time they can get before they show it off.

I do not think you will see gameplay of cod 2020 in March, April or even may I truly, truly don't I feel like this is gonna be one of those years where it could pull like like infinite warfare.

You get a tease, maybe get a campaign trailer 83 then maybe we see multi player in July or August.

I mean, heck, it was September for infinite warfare.

It could very possibly end up like that, which I know nobody wants.

There you have it.
