How do you like sitting with Petey.

He's good, he's quiet.

Leaves me alone.

Lets me watch my shows.

- Have you ever considered

taking the suits off for the flight,

and putting on something more comfortable?

Or, do you like wearing suits?

- I mean, I didn't bring

any extra clothes,

but everything else is under the plane.

So yeah, kinda hard to do.

- [Brandon] How do you like

sitting with Quinn, so far?

- It's great, he's pretty quiet,

doesn't talk that much.

Always looking on his iPad

or on a phone.

- [Brandon] I wanna ask you about your seatmate.

I know he's sleeping right now,

but what do you guys usually

talk about on the plane?

- Not too much.

Honestly, we like to get the iPads out

and share a movie.

Or, we got a little crossword puzzle

we like to play on our phones.

- [Brandon] If you could get rid of Motter,

and share a seat with anybody else

on the team,

who would you share with?

- Definitely, you.

- Wow, thanks man.

That's really nice of you.

Now, we've come to the card table.

Brock Boeser, Jake Virtanen.

How do you like sitting

across from Jake on the plane?

- Sometimes it has its benefits.

Especially, when he's snacking

all the time.

- Wow, shots fired.

Okay, and who's the best

card player on the team?

Be honest.

- Chris Tanev.

- Hey, Eminem, you mind if we ask

you a couple of questions here?

Millsy, if you could sit

next to anybody.

If you could sit next to anybody else,

but Stecher, who would you sit next to?

- I don't know,

I'm happy with my seatmate.

Just not Tuna.

- I'm beating all of them, so.

They're all mad at me.

- [Brandon] They're bitter cause

Jake's winning today.

So, that's fair.

In your time here,

whose been the best card player,

in the history of the Canucks,

since you've been here?

- Probably greasy Alex Burrows.

- [Brandon] The French guys

are pretty greasy with that stuff.

Leivs, how do you like sitting

next to Chris Tanev?

- He's good, he's a good poker player.

So, fun to play against.

- [Brandon] You guys ever get tired

of playing cards on the plane?

Ever wanna watch movies?

Or, you're pretty happy with playing

all the time?

- I'm pretty happy playing

all the time.

- [Brandon] Hey, Adam Gaudette,

how's the flight?

So far, how's the flight with Gauds?

- It's been great.

I mean, I really can't complain.

Obviously, he's a really quiet guy.

- [Brandon] You're one of our Mario Kart players.

There's four of us.

Why don't you enlighten us

on that a little bit.

Tell us who's involved.

And who the best and worst players are.

- I'd like to start off

by saying that

I'm the best at Mario Kart.

I've won the crown for a lot of,

I'd say a lot of last year.

JB has been off to a hot start.

I'd have to go,

you're up there, probably third.

And I've have to go,

Pears is last right now.

- [Brandon] Tanner, Bo just quoted

saying that you were fourth best

on the team, out of four, on Mario Kart.

What's your opinion on that?

- This year, not really off

to a hot start.

I'll be honest about that.

But, we've only had one road trip so far.

So, got a lot more playing to do.

- [Brandon] Every flight movies always.

Movies and naps, or what?

Movies and naps, that's for sure.

- [Brandon] If you could sit next

to anybody other than Pears here,

who would you sit next to?

- Probably, Gauds, cause he doesn't say much.

- All right, now we're at the back

of the plane.

Where all the old guys sit.

This is Alex Edler and Loui Eriksson.

A lot of times we look back

and Loui's pretty much doing

what he's doing right now.

But Alex, how do you like sitting

next to Loui this year?

- It's good, good talks, you know.

- [Brandon] Really good conversation back here.

When Loui's not sleeping,

what do you guys talk about?

- Swedish things, you know,

Ikea, meatballs, Swedish candy, Swedish fish.

- [Brandon] Do you miss sitting

next to Daniel, sitting on every flight?

- No, he was annoying. (laughs)

- Probably, the best section of the plane.

This is kinda the Mario Kart area.

So we got Tanner Pearson, Bo Horvat,

Jay Beagle, and myself.

A lot of yelling.

A lot of chirping guys back here.

Jay, how do you like sitting next to me?

- I love it.

You're the commish, for Mario Kart.

So, I get to have my input in.

You know obviously great conversation

between two Alberta boys, so.

Couldn't ask for a better seatmate.

- Yeah, we spend a lot of time

talking about trucks, and farms,

and stuff like that.

Yeah, most guys don't know

what the heck's going on there.

But, let's just say,

today I wasn't here,

if you could sit next to anybody else

on the team, who would you sit next to?

- Schalatov, for sure.

- That's Tim Schaller,

Schalatov behind us here.

He's kinda part of our group, too.

- Well, he also roots

for me in Mario Kart.

- That pretty much wraps it up.
