I'm staying with a friend here in Philly, and I thought he's a chance to go through a job, Actually, not much of a good thrift shop for at all.

I always get kind of bored of looking through the racks, but it's something I'm trying to get better at.

And there's some really cool thrift shops.

Check out here in center Philly.

So I thought I'd give it a go before we get started.

I thought I show you guys my outfit of the day bomb.

I'm wearing this necktie thing from Brandy Melville, just a simple striped shirt from H and M.

This thing has been with me literally for like, five years.

I'm wearing a leather jacket to keep warm, and I'm wearing my favorite pair of American Eagle genes on some pointed boots by express.

So the first place I went with the Buffalo Exchange around the central shopping area in Philly, I've been to a couple in New York and D C before, and they always kind of been a hit or miss.

But this one, I actually happen to find a couple of good things to try.

First up, we have this lovely lacy maroon dress by loft, and I picked it up because it kind of reminded me of something Alexa Chung would wear.

I threw on loafers or something like that.

And yeah, welcome to my awkward fitting room angles at another tripods.

I had to put this on a chair and kind of model of the floor, actually, really love this traffic.

It's like a dream, but I think because of my New Year's resolution, pause right there for a second.

For those of you who don't know, my New Year's resolution is to only by 12 pieces of clothing the entire year.

I'm not gonna be able to buy it.

Don't one of my 12 year on this dress.

So next up is this faux leather pleaded miniskirt from Zara.

I'm definitely admire of miniskirts on bloggers and, like Instagram humans who are great at fashion.

But I've never quite been able to pull it off in real life.

This one was really cool, but I think it was a little bit long on me because it nearly reached my ankles.

Although the fabric was really lovely and soft next I tried this sweater from J.

Crew because I'm basically a ho for anything by J.

Crew, but it wouldn't fit over my goddamn big head.

Lastly, I picked up this speckled grey coat by the brand lush, which I've seen it Nordstrom before, so I think it's a pretty good quality brand again, this is very Alexa Chung year, but that's kind of the look that I'm going for right now.

So first I've tried it on with the dress, and I actually really liked how it fit.

I just cut the sleeves because it's a medium.

So it's a little bit big for me, and I decided to try it on with my outfit from that day as well, just to see whether it would be a versatile piece that I could wear with a lot of different outfits.

One test I do before buying something is don't look good with my hair up and with flat shoes.

So damn, it still looks pretty good.

I finally discovered a reason not to buy.

This coat is dry clean only, but I really do actually like this styles.

I think I'm gonna try to find myself a nice, long tail with code in the future, maybe one that fits me a little bit better in this one.

Next, I pop to the nearby second time around, which had a much more edited and designer focused collection than the Buffalo Exchange.

I didn't get any footage of the store because I was shopping at, like 2 p.m. On a Wednesday, and the sales associates were watching me.

But is this super warm coat that I tried on by a designer I hadn't heard of?

But it was just super warm and fuzzy, great for the freezing temperatures in Philly, but probably not the best thing to bring home to L.

Normally, I avoid yellow because it can kind of wash me out.

But ever since I saw La La Land and saw and the Stones yellow dress in that movie, I wanted to try it out.

Safe to say, I do not look as good as Emma Stone.

Nor did I meet Ryan Gosling while wearing this dress.

But I did think that the ditzy print was really cute and fifties inspired.

I tried on this BCBG dress because of the amazing kind of tulip or, like Lily pad inspired top that was just absolutely incredible.

But the fit of the bottom was like a little underwhelming, and it has this weird frequent pattern on it.

But I did really love the top section, and if I could just cut that off and wear it as a boost, D A.

I totally would.

I didn't not getting anything at second time around, so I headed southeast to this charming area of Philly that's a little bit more booty.

If that's a word, I guess I had seen this booty call Genesis a quad on Instagram, where they post all of their designer items that they keep in stock.

Their collection is honestly so chic and well edited and pretty much every single item in there I would buy if I had the money.

It was very like City Girl Slash Alexander Wang inspired.

Well, unfortunately, these quick shots of the interior are all I have because it was literally just me and the sales associate staring at me, and it was really awkward, so I had to leave.

All right.

Even next I headed Thio Addiction studios.

Just a couple there is down, which is another boutique designer consignment job once again forgetting how warm L a weather is.

I tried on this Rebecca Taylor coat, which felt super luxurious was a little too big for me, though, but I really liked the Moto detailing on the sleeves and all the zippers, which I thought made a cool combination between a leather jacket and a classic world coat.

I also tried on this lacy dress by the designer Millie, who I had heard of before.

It does look a little dated, but it was just fun to try on.

Kind of looks like something you would go to a tea party in and a had pockets, which was amazing but obviously was just trying his own for fun.

It was totally not worth the 100 plus dollar price tag, and that concludes my thrift ING trip.

I went home prize list, but I did have a fun time looking around everything, and I hope that you guys enjoyed coming along with me.
