  • here it paddy power.

  • We're the home of the money back special with some incredible offers every single week.

  • Check out the website or app.

  • Today.

  • Terms and conditions apply.

  • 18 plus Big gamble with a torque.

  • Hello, I'm welcome to this Monday Review Post Cast on Money Player.

  • I'm joined by James Hill in the studio.

  • We have four been field back on the line from Paddy Power to look over the weekends action.

  • We had good racing from Warrick Kempt and an anti punches town yesterday at some Children clears on offer and maybe even a grand National one as well.

  • So plenty to get stuck into.

  • Let's start off with Warrick.

  • Then the classic Chase was there feature, and Kimber, like candy, was an impressive winner in the end.

  • I mean, Jimmy, he indicated he could be capable of this sort of performance when second in the beach to chase That was over the Grand National fences.

  • So that will stand him in good stead.

  • If you were to go that way, what sort of I mean, would you think he's the ideal type?

  • The Grand National at this stage?

  • Yeah, well, he's got a very similar profile now to what one for Arthur had in 2017.

  • Indeed, run very well in the feature Chase one.

  • The classic Chase and then went on to win the national.

  • So he's a similar, very similar type.

  • Young, improving horse, strong Stay a good jumper.

  • Got all the right credentials.

  • Really.

  • Just you wonder whether he's good enough, that's all.

  • I mean, he is improving, but the quality of horse now that you have to win the national with is pretty high these days.

  • But, you know, I have to say I liked everything about him at work because they want a proper gallop.

  • You got a bit warm beforehand, But other than that, I thought he stuck out it.

  • Really?

  • Well, uh, he's had to stay every yard.

  • He did it.

  • True.

  • Improper.

  • Yeah.

  • He certainly did pick up really well, didn't he, Captain Kale set that really strong pace under Harry.

  • Skills have been.

  • Is what price did you go for the big one?

  • Well, we went 24 after one muddy, but I'm gonna have a reservation.

  • It looks like the horse probably needs self ground.

  • That's what Tom lately said on certain Probably off here and to post bets until we know it's gonna come up soft unlivable.

  • Yeah, that's a very interesting thought.

  • As is what you said, Jimmy.

  • Because these days the national is a different race, isn't it?

  • I mean, with horses like tiger roll.

  • Winning it.

  • You need a better quality horse these days is up there to say, Yeah, you definitely do.

  • Better quality.

  • Get in.

  • Yeah, well, he'll definitely get in now.

  • He needed to win realtor to ensure that everybody will Just what business is saying about the ground.

  • I mean, it's very rare.

  • Now it is that you get a national run on in a lively ground.

  • You know, they ensure for safety reasons, they ensure the ground is always on the soft side of good.

  • At at least s o, I don't think, you know, particularly over that distance.

  • I'd be surprised if conditions will be too quick for him.

  • It's just whether he's good enough.

  • That's it.

  • Yeah.

  • Before Honey Pops didn't look the strongest classic chase.

  • What did you make those in behind, Captain Chaos.

  • He's a little bit of a quirky horse, in a way, but he was on a going day petite power round strongly to be third.

  • How would you rate that form?

  • I thought it was pretty good.

  • Really?

  • You looked at the look to do beforehand.

  • You felt well.

  • I've seen better and years of the classic chase in this, but Captain Chaos and Harry Skeleton Captain cast.

  • In short, it was a really true test on I fall a little.

  • The right horses came out best.

  • The conditional traveled really well for a long way, Andi in facts.

  • He did really well to get back into it because he made a very bad mistake.

  • First mints down the back, but he just didn't get home.

  • He doesn't quite stay that far, so he's not a national horse.

  • Hey, doesn't have the stamina for entry, but kimberlite candy most definitely does.

  • And yeah, he's gonna be one for your short list, I think.

  • Okay.

  • S O.

  • Definitely a grand national contender then.

  • But Dinner's warns about the ground two for gold was another winner on the card in the grade to chase a race that was run by Black Hercules back in 2016.

  • He went on to win the gel T.

  • This horse looks more than rs a type.

  • Jimmy always really impressed with the Beltway battle back.

  • Because hold the note.

  • Look, to be going slightly the better.

  • And you and I were on each of the horses.

  • No surprise that you came out on top way.

  • We're on opposing sides for that race.

  • Well, hold the knife is Ah, really nice shorts and a good jumper of Mick Challands s.

  • So he's definitely got a future chief ago.

  • He's a real grinder.

  • A true stare s o.

  • I would expect to see him in the national hunt chase to be on the severe.

  • Be surprised if he's got the class to be an R s a horse, but he does have the right credentials for the National Bank chase.

  • You know, he likes being out in front jumps well on.

  • He's just very hard to get past and, you know, as you saw holding that got past him.

  • But but they're all just just came back at him again.

  • And one nicely.

  • Yes, I think he's a bit better than that.

  • As well as his victory, Carlisle earlier in the season was very impressive indeed.

  • Yeah, Bill is I mean to for gold.

  • I think people are in danger of underestimating him a bit.

  • I really like the performance.

  • You seem to think he's more than all right, a type Maddie, which is interesting, but we make it 25 to 1 bird chauffeur that way.

  • But we believe that he'll be better over the longer trip international hand chase and make him 12 half those words to that 12 to 1 for show but lovely performance for Kim Bailey forts a host to take one for the future.

  • That coming out of the race was roller gaining only managed to finish six or seven in the end.

  • But before Charlie Dogs did really well, a lovely horseman.

  • Charlie direction on dhe.

  • He wasn't helped by the horse pulling so financial.

  • Williams could get him to stop pulling quite so hard of Charlie.

  • Do its on board, I think will be winning soon.

  • Yeah, I must admit, I'm a big role again found, but he's one of those.

  • You just have to be a bit careful off, don't you?

  • Because he does tend to be so keen in his races, and you can sort of chuck in the odd, unconvincing jump.

  • But I think for me the notebook.

  • One was what more got absolutely mullet around the home bend didn't jump the last two to particularly well, burner.

  • He stayed on.

  • Well, he could be one for handicaps in future.

  • Let's have a look Then at the other race, the great race at Warrick it was over hurdles and it was one invite mossy fen.

  • In the end, the Tikal Intisar trained Harry Sr was taken out of this Jimmy.

  • So we were left sort of thinking what would have been without him in there.

  • But there was still a good horse in Shan Blue who was favorite.

  • But he just didn't have the staying power of mossy fen.

  • Shambling didn't quite live up Thio market expectations really pretty fast.

  • Yeah, he may may have gone too fast.

  • You, Right now I'm just being a bit keen and blow out a bit of what Keegan was disappointing.

  • I was expecting better from him, too, because he had some good format sound down earlier in the season.

  • And obviously it was It was a great shame that Harry Sr in the end, didn't take part.

  • So yeah, good performance by most even stayed well.

  • But I just felt a bit underwhelmed by that as a race.

  • Really?

  • I was hoping we would get one of those novices coming out putting up a really good display.

  • And I'd be very surprised if we saw any of those winning a race that shot them in March.

  • Yeah, I'd be inclined to agree.

  • It will be cool.

  • Obviously won the race before winning the Ballymore in 27 team.

  • Ben is he's gonna have various options out the Children festival.

  • I guess the Albert Bartlett is probably the race that a lot of punters would be looking at if a tool for mossy fen Yeah, Albert Bartlett.

  • It's a possibility Mellie with Maddie, wants to go way have slightly different opinions to you.

  • We thought he was a ballet more wholesome.

  • Put him in that 25 to 1, just going back to the classic chase window.

  • We know Kimber like candy.

  • I've just noticed on our website he seized into 20 to 1 thing.

  • Morning.

  • So somebody clearly agrees with with James that it could come up softer Aintree, and we've seen a few quid for him.

  • Okay, that's interesting.

  • Let's move on to kempt.

  • And now on the headline act was Frode on getting back to something like his best form in that silver Nyarko, Conti Chase, Briny Frost aboard as per usual and Jimmy.

  • This also that also says he hadn't looked the best in the old road and then in the bet Fair Chase.

  • But this was more like in despite jumping out to his left, he got the job done exactly as you said.

  • It was much more like it from fried on.

  • And he's clearly better going left town about by the way he jumps top notch was disappointing.

  • I felt he ran a bit below par, so he's better than that.

  • So that was a shame, but fried on interesting where they're gonna go of him now.

  • I mean, there's obviously this debate with connections.

  • Where would you go?

  • Oh, I go right now.

  • Yeah, definitely.

  • I'd be surprised if he'd stayed the Gold Cup trip to be Honestly, I'd be surprised if he was good enough toe in the Gold Cup.

  • I could try on DSI how he goes in the Denman chase, but personally, I would just make a decision now and focus on the run because that was such a good performance last year when he wanted Yeah, I think I'd agree He's a funny old Disney because we have to remember he's one of Cotswold Chase, a really grueling trial for the Gold Cup.

  • But he does just appear Trip.

  • It was only like a furlong less in the Gold Cup.

  • Yeah, exactly, because I think they extended the distance on the day as well, didn't they?

  • I'm not sure what happened, but I think that might move the rails out.

  • So Frode on, we'll still have to wait and see.

  • As to his Children festival target been is what we all thought.

  • Yeah, I think he's more of a Ryanair horses.

  • Well, Mehdi, And that's That's the way it looks like Paul Nichols is thinking at the moment.

  • Well, we'll learn more in new briefer.

  • It was great.

  • See Briony back in the winner's enclosure at Kempton.

  • She's just a breath of fresh air to school, and we went six toe one from 10 to 1 for throw Tums to the royal heir.

  • But he's also in the Gold Cup quite a bit bigger than that.

  • But where are we are a 25 25 to 1 for the Gold Cup.

  • Mary Ah, which seems seems quite big, but I think he'll go right there.

  • Okay?

  • Yeah, interesting that Nichols said.

  • I think it's down to the only pool vote.

  • He quite would like a horse in the Gold Cup one wheel.

  • But perhaps the Rhine Air is the more suitable race now.

  • Probably the most dramatic race of the weekend was the Lanza Rati Hurdle, with two horses to Best Man and Notre Perry coming down at the final flight, which left your selection, Jimmy Hill, clear away for his edge again.

  • You're against me because I was on the best demon.

  • But a lot of people are suggesting that Burrows Edge might have won anyway.

  • He was coming with a feral rattle.

  • Yeah, I'm first of all good to see both the horses and jockeys last gets up nasty four.

  • Not prepared.

  • But I thought Barrows Edge was actually coming with a potentially winning run.

  • If he could have got up the best demands inside, I think you probably would have won.

  • It was nine links back to the second in the end.

  • Anyway, on Dhe, it was a good performance, really, for him to win Eve, even though he got lucky because going down the back I mean, he wasn't jumping it all on.

  • He was well out of it.

  • Nicole Deborde Jill did really well to get him into the race.

  • Turning in Andi clearly stays well.

  • Similar profile, actually.

  • Thio Michael Buckley's Coral Cup winner Spirit River.

  • So, you know, same connections.

  • I would think that's probably where they'll go with him rather than going back of offenses.

  • Yeah, indeed.

  • I mean, I think William Henry run the won the race couple of years ago, didn't and he went on to contest.

  • Those sort of racist is interesting because, as you say, he had that fall honest chasing debut.

  • Get the impression that he's just a very talented horses.

  • Just a bit of a shell at the minute.

  • Don't you think he's got plenty of ability?

  • Yeah, I really do.

  • I noticed emit Kempson when he ran in handicapped company last year.

  • Off top, way around a really good race.

  • And you knew you dim Pray ve this season.

  • You look at him.

  • You think he's gonna make a chase of it.

  • That didn't work out at Ludlow when he fell so I think they're going to stick the hurdles for the time being on name of the top handicaps.

  • And obviously it's a long way out.

  • But do you think he's the sort of horse that could win a coral Cup?

  • Yeah, no, definitely, definitely, if he's as good.

  • Somewhere around Sharma's years that kept on all his best form at the moment seems to bay kept in that run last season and this one in the land.

  • Zero t.

  • But if you can transfer that form to press Perry Park in March, yeah, he's definitely, I think, for the home team anywhere, he'd be one of the big hose.

  • Yeah, the notable winners at Kempton Eric Le Rouge that was a big gamble, landed and finger on the switch as well.

  • For Millie.

  • Won a car are near more Holland.

  • Nice to see them in the winner's enclosure, but let's move on to Punches Town than yesterday and carefully selected horse.

  • I'm sure plenty of people have anti post bets on um, he's been long range touted for the national hunt chase again.

  • We mentioned two for gold.

  • He could be another to go that way.

  • He needs to qualify for it.

  • But he was really impressive, I thought, although be helped by the fall of speakeasy at the last, Jimmy Yeah, I think I think he had the race in the bag at stage.

  • Anyway, he's a proper out, not gallop Resnick actually selected.

  • I remember when I saw him in the champion bumper pool.

  • Danny Mullins arms out that day on DDE you for turning and he was going to completely blow out in the closing stages.

  • Kept going all the way to the line to finish second.

  • I mean, he just obviously has loads of stamina.

  • I was impressive, is jumping at interest.

  • And I thought that was a nice performance on I think it will be the National Heart chase where he goes.

  • I would expect William Mullins would have something more speedier for the R.

  • S.

  • A.

  • I think it would have to be pretty soft for theory.

  • Say, to be on the agenda for carefully selected, uh, he's rightly heading the market for the national trace of the moment.

  • I think he's the one today.

  • Yeah, he certainly is.

  • I mean, soft ground is key.

  • And does he say I mean, that was over two and 1/2 but I think it was It was obvious from the start that poor town was very keen to be positive on him and used his stamina as you said have been.

  • It's just refreshers with those at Cheltenham Festival prices.

  • Yeah, quite right.

  • Maybe we make him the favorite for the National Post now is 92 Favorite from six Favorite.

  • We went five initially after the race books, a few people came in and we trim that on for the R s.

  • A listening is not that far away from the principals in the market.

  • Day 16 from 20 but nice performance.

  • And it's a real nice staying chaste French.

  • You two years to come.

  • Yeah, Willie millions mentioned the 10 up novices chase over three miles at Nap.

  • And so if you were to run and win there, then that would obviously qualified for that national and chase at what off Andy?

  • Different.

  • And then he got out of jail or by winning the Moscow Flyer.

  • But it didn't look likely for a long way Captain Guinness, who won his only previous starts.

  • He run a really interesting race, or I think he could be a very, very good horse, Jimmy, but let's talk about the winner.

  • Big sort of high pour ce Andi got his career back on track here.

  • Yeah, um I mean, he looks a really nice source away travels and jumps.

  • And I think you proved it here because he was up against a good Soren Captain Guinness on Dhe, dropping back in triple as well.

  • So it was never going to be easy, but he's jumping.

  • Kept him in.

  • It's on.

  • I thought when he needs a battle heart Hey, did that.

  • So, yeah, he's definitely got his career back on track.

  • I would actually stick it this distance with him for the moment.

  • Um, I mean, in terms of Cheltenham, he'd probably be up against envoy Alan if he ran in the Ballymore.

  • I don't think ordinarily would like to do that.

  • So I think he's a supreme candidates on def that the ground was on the soft side, you know?

  • You know, he stayed.

  • The trip is jumping, would keep him in the race, and he travels well, So he's a contender for that?

  • Yeah.

  • Interestingly, Gordon Elliot's got ABBA cadavers as well, so he's got a whole lot of talented novices to juggle hasn't been, as I mentioned just then, that I really like the run of captain getting it.

  • I thought this was an excellent performance.

  • He jumped electric.

  • It was a little bit too keen, but I think he could be a lively outside of the supreme.

  • What is your market saying?

  • I agree with you.

  • Maybe it was a lovely performance and it was a great race, actually.

  • Nice spectacle.

  • Captain Guinness was 20 to 1 from 33 to 1 immediately after the race.

  • Son, that was too big when he's now into 16 to once while Andy to frame take didn't didn't do himself any harm.

  • We've cut him is where he's 12 from 16.

  • So that both could run well.

  • Certainly get placed in the super.

  • Do you see me as a longer term prospect under different, more of a chase it down the line, or is he sort of a realistic candidate for the supreme?

  • I don't know.

  • It's sort of expecting a little bit more from him.

  • Um, yeah, he Well, he has been hyped up.

  • Yeah, he was.

  • He was considered a really exciting prospect from last season, but his form wasn't that amazing last season.

  • It was good, but it wasn't really talking about stuff over bumpers.

  • I think his form is being very good this season.

  • I think he probably went a bit too hard in front of Navin when he got beaten by latest exhibition.

  • And obviously, on that form, you know, he's he's got a bit to find with Abacha.

  • Deborah if they boyfriend in the Supreme.

  • Yeah, I think he is a proper tracing prospect for the future, but he's got enough ability to win it gel in this year, years and years of contemporary, he's got enough close.

  • Yeah, certainly has will be interesting to see what Gordon Elliott does with all of his horses.

  • Won't it?

  • Will have to wait and see near the time.

  • That's it for the review section off this podcast.

  • We'll be back just after the break.

  • I'm just Marina.

  • I know a single to about being special finding pastel de Nata is in a London cafe special, winning the jackpot on petty power games.

  • Not special.

  • Understood?

  • Josie.

  • Guess someone wins an average £40,000 jackpot every single day, So if you win I don't think you're special daily jackpots by Paddy Power games Jackpots must be watered by 11 p.m. and vary from day to day.

  • Jack put a shared with other operators available on selected games.

  • Decency that paddypower dot com isn't speaking.

  • Welcome back to this Monday Post.

  • Cast, then and now is our opportunity to look at to the big race on Saturday.

  • It's the Clarence House chase at Ascot on DDE under, so has won this three times in 2016 2017 2018.

  • And he's set to face Death, be destroyed in what looks an absolutely mouthwatering clash.

  • Jimmy.

  • I mean, from my perspective, I'm just I love both of these horses, but isn't it great?

  • We get seahorses like under so still performing at the top of the game when there's oldest, Here's undersized, an amazing horse.

  • In his younger days, I thought wanted to people had him a bit overrated.

  • I've always thought he's very good, but I wasn't quite sure he was outstanding.

  • But just over the years, what has been amazing is how consistent he's being.

  • He's continued to perform right at the top level race off the race.

  • I can't remember never running a bad race, to be honest with him, he's just so consistent.

  • Tries very hard.

  • Wonderful Jumper on.

  • It's great to see my NASCAR.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • This will test deficits.

  • Always champion chase credentials, Unlike probably any race we've seen so far, Would you argue?

  • Yeah.

  • You know, if you're slightly off his game de fee, you know, when disco is going to be on his game, because he always is.

  • So, uh, you know, I think that the prices I probably saw with the older horse, But for that reason death, he has been known to run the old stinker from time to time of death around.

  • Well, ask it over hurdles a couple of seasons back.

  • That was a time.

  • Yeah.

  • I mean, on form, you obviously slightly favor.

  • Definitely.

  • And you know, he's he's a younger horse, but under, so it's just incredible.

  • He just keeps doing it time after time.

  • He certainly does.

  • The versatile isn't it?

  • And if it does end up being soft ground, then that's going to see him is too soft ground.

  • Even at his age, he still got later pace, and he can really put them to the sword.

  • So, yeah, we'll have his ideal conditions on.

  • Yeah.

  • I mean, definite disorder, his Children target seems quite obvious.

  • Now they're gonna go for the champion Chase under.

  • So I mean, we've saved the best over two miles.

  • But here's a Ryanair winner with him at this age.

  • What would you do it?

  • Shelton More.

  • Is that maybe in a bit unfair?

  • Uh, probably go for the gut for the Roman air again.

  • I did actually.

  • Don't think he's as good over to Narf.

  • Aziz.

  • I don't think he quite gets too often anyone that right there.

  • But it was a week, Ryder and the only just were having having looked having looked for all the world is that he was gonna win easily, turning in early one by a few lengths in the end.

  • So yet, I mean, if you are gonna get a chance with him, I think unless turned up really soft in the champion chase that the runner would just be the race you have to go for.

  • But he doesn't.

  • If he doesn't, you know, when it shows up again or doesn't run that, will it kill him?

  • I don't think it really matters.

  • I mean, he doesn't have anyone anything amazing.

  • Doesn't take anything away from what has been a magical legacy under.

  • So I mean, hopefully we can still see him.

  • This isn't, um maybe even next.

  • Who knows?

  • Uh, Ben is just refreshers on your prices, then, if not for Saturday, for the big races at Cheltenham.

  • Well, we've got Saturday's market up, Maddie, we make definite du Soleil 4 to 5.

  • Favorite earned.

  • Two.

  • So 6 to 47 Jamaica.

  • And it's 20 to 1 bar apologies.

  • If anyone could hear a dog barking in the first section of the show, he seems to shut up now.

  • So apologize about that.

  • I think, Jimmy.

  • Some the race up Really well, Maddie there.

  • I couldn't agree with him.

  • Or it is one that Clarence House by seven lengths.

  • Five limbs twice, including when it was rerun it Cheltenham.

  • He only got being in the neck by Deputy saw in the Tingle Creek.

  • And that price is 45 death in sixth floor under, so Oh, definitely.

  • I'll be back in and decide just because of the price.

  • Really?

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • I think I'd be inclined to agree.

  • Definitely sorry.

  • I mean, It's interesting.

  • He has to be delivered right at the right time.

  • Doesn't it?

  • Wears under so we know exactly what he's gonna do.

  • He's gonna go out there and being to majestic and give it.

  • Is all Jimmy de fees, territories, Children, Really.

  • I mean, he always seems to show a special.

  • They're so against a horse of the quality of under.

  • So, you know, has been has said there was only a neck between that single Crete.

  • He's gotta be slightly vulnerable.

  • Yeah, and there are more horses in the race than just those two we are doubling.

  • It is a bit of a match, but of course, anything can happen in these contests.

  • Good racing as well.

  • A.

  • Ask if they have the Holloways hurdle, which haven't mentioned it on a good graded race for mayors.

  • But we'll go on to Haydock next.

  • They stage a good few strong races of role.

  • There could be some more Children.

  • Clues on display.

  • The Peace and Marsh.

  • We've got the champion hurdle trial.

  • There's a supreme trial as well, but let's talk about that champion hurdle trial because this could be quite informative.

  • It's still a market which is a bit all over the place.

  • Pentland Hills.

  • A lot of people took him out of the international.

  • Hurdle is the one to watch going forward, Jimmy, and he looks likely to go for that new one.

  • Unibet Hurdle.

  • Nicky Henderson's got Call me Lord in there as well, but I think maybe Pentland Hills could be the one who's gonna run.

  • I think that's what he's been saying.

  • Isn't that he's gonna run Pentland Hills in this race.

  • First of all, let's type hey docks on Saturday because there is a lot of rain, forecast said.

  • It is gonna be very wet.

  • But if it's on, I would personally look to find something against Pentland Hills.

  • I think, you know, two miles on heavy ground round Haydock.

  • That will be by much, most testing additions he's raced on.

  • He's only a five year old, and you just turned five.

  • So I prefer someone like Bali and you actually beat him in a shelter before Christmas.

  • Of course, not twisting.

  • Davis has won this race many times with the new one over the last few years and he looks have got Bali Andy back round really well in the Christmas hurdle as well, Captain.

  • He'll handle the ground.

  • Definitely the prices.

  • I think I would prefer himto Pentland Hills who are still thinks, got a fair bit to breathe.

  • I mean, he's He's short enough in the champion Hurdle market for me.

  • Yeah, I thought was interesting.

  • Ribble Valley was in there.

  • The novice.

  • Hey, didn't win Ascot last time.

  • He was, well, fancied.

  • Are we in danger of underestimating Cornerstone lad?

  • The fighting fifth winner, Obviously Buddha.

  • He had that injury.

  • Probably wasn't running up to form when he sort of finished second.

  • But it was still a very good performance from a progressive horse.

  • Yeah, well, I suppose Silver Street gave the former base didn't hear captain when he finished second in the Christmas, I'd like I do wonder whether Silver Street ran his race in Newcastle.

  • We were pretty sure that beaver there didn't think it was obviously injured.

  • It was a funny contest with me personally.

  • Lady buttons, Of course.

  • As based on the form as well.

  • Yeah, but whether those horses in behind really around, there s cornerstone, lad really shouldn't be winning that on all now informing everyone that weatherly the time of Florida is progressive.

  • But unless he gets a very soft lead again here and they just I'll be surprised if they gave him 10 links with stocks.

  • But if they did, maybe he could nick it.

  • You mentioned Ribble Valley.

  • I have to say the novices this season have been really impressing May.

  • Honorable Valley was disappointing.

  • It asking.

  • I was expecting fancy things because the time before that weather they had some really good horses.

  • Well, be in behind him.

  • So it's interesting that they have entered him for this.

  • If there was to be a surprise, it could be him.

  • Yeah, I wouldn't rule that out.

  • Yeah, I do like it when connections take a chance with the novice when erases open and as prestigious as the champion Hurdle.

  • Obviously, envoy Lynn and Honeysuckle.

  • She's no novice, but hopefully they're gonna feature in some sort of way in the Champion Hurdle picture will find out what their tech targets are.

  • Soon Ribble Valley.

  • I thought he was very, very keen NASCAR, and he just seemed to tank a little bit.

  • Maybe that would be against him again in heavy conditions.

  • Yeah, they're likely to go faster pace.

  • I would afford Haydock her than they did at Ascot.

  • I mean, ask.

  • It was virtually untraceable that day.

  • They went absolutely no place.

  • A tall and it didn't suit.

  • So it could just be that they've kind of felt when he blew blew out that day.

  • Let's just forget that just just from in the deep end and see how he goes.

  • They obviously, you know, racing very highly.

  • Uh, he's he's interesting.

  • They want a good gallop, Weatherby.

  • And if they did the same a Haydock, I could see him running really well.

  • Yes, Yeah, yeah, I could see that as well as business update is on some of the prices, then.

  • Well, we haven't got prices for this one until Monday evening, Maddie, but I really agree with you about really both fee about Ribble Valley.

  • I think you might have just come up against a good halted master.

  • Debonair ascot.

  • Last time it was very well back that day.

  • By the way, Nicky will probably run him.

  • Run him in the Rossington May novices hurdle.

  • I've gone on the same card I would imagine, but the fact that he's even into them in this race shows the regard he's got the horse.

  • And Maddy, you asked if If we're underestimating Cornerstone, then I think we are actually is rated as high as any of these apartment.

  • Call me Lord on official ratings.

  • You guys seem to think that Pentland Hills is Nicky Henderson's number one for the right setting, I think Cornerstone Lab.

  • But we'll run another good race from Mickey Hammond.

  • Yeah, I agree with you.

  • Bennett.

  • He's always the sort of horse is going to be underestimated with those connections, isn't it?

  • Hopefully, he give them another good run for their money before we go for a break.

  • I think it's probably worth just running through the champion hurdle market and getting your thoughts on it.

  • What have you got for us?

  • Business does Pepitone had the market's still does.

  • Indeed, Maddie.

  • Yeah, that's a great idea.

  • I had the champion hurdle better wait.

  • You actually would talk about that after 28 72 favorite Pentland Hills.

  • Hopefully, we'll find out more on Saturday.

  • Seven.

  • The one along with Zelda and it's 10 to 1 classical dream and Shar job and honeysuckle honeysuckle.

  • And as for Mickey Hammond's contender, Cornerstone.

  • Ah, wait, just we don't give him any chance of Children 40 to 1.

  • Maddie.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay, then, Jimmy.

  • Obviously, the Dublin Racing Festival entries are coming out as well, so the picture could get clearer.

  • It could get murkier, even still.

  • But what do you think of the race at the moment?

  • Personally, I think it's one of the most vile but below par champion hurdles I've seen in a long time.

  • I can't remember.

  • So few horses are actually fancied in the race.

  • I have had a better one of the horses that Ben didn't mention the market cause it's much further down on what we want.

  • I mentioned earlier, which is Silver Streak.

  • He was third in the Champion hurdle last year on, I think is going back on like 2 2012 horses who have Bean placed in the champion hurdle previously.

  • All right, Neil, since 2012 we've had a horse in the first free who was actually being placed in the champion of this.

  • So you know it's That form is obviously as good as any past renewal.

  • So what do you think it's worth looking at last year's right?

  • So now he was well beaten by the winner of Sparta Len.

  • But you know, he was only just beaten by Melon, who finished second in the race.

  • Previously had some good horses like Madonna blew in behind him.

  • Hey, ran well in the Christmas hurdle.

  • He always runs really well.

  • It showed him, and I think some still pricing number 33 to 1, which I think is too big because, you know, if you want one horsey feel is is going to run well again.

  • That yeah, personality prefers better ground as well.

  • It was.

  • The ground is soft enough from last season.

  • I could see him going, well, a big price off the principles.

  • I mean, if it wasn't for Reppetto wants poor run it at the festival last year.

  • I would say, You know, 72 isn't actually a bad price about because she did win that race that captain so easily.

  • Yeah, I think that's a solid a troll This season has any interesting to see if Honeysuckle goes to the Irish champion ho because she's definitely a horse who could be up to champion hurdle class.

  • I mean, she's kept winning.

  • A race is she's one.

  • A great one.

  • Other happens grace against the boys, said.

  • I know it's over two and 1/2 2 and 1/2 mile Horses tend to run really well in the Champion Hurdle sometime to win it.

  • So she does run in Leopardstown.

  • Be very interesting to see how she goes.

  • Yeah, exactly.

  • It's been a funny old year house, and it moved there.

  • Obviously, he's been ruled out classical dream.

  • He was a strong fund, say he just doesn't seem to up to anything this season on.

  • We've had various other horses fall by the wayside and have different targets as well.

  • Business.

  • Who would your fancy be at this stage?

  • Well, I think Willie Millions Shadow is good as any married Jimmy's point about horses being placed with interesting, that is one silver streak is 25 to 1.

  • Remember fear to welcome game place behind the greatest if the back a few years ago.

  • But you have for me Sharjah.

  • He was very well back when he won that left its towns last time despite a classical dream.

  • Being one of the favorites for the race and charge are certainly didn't let himself down.

  • He seemed to have such a tough customer and double figures 20 to 1.

  • Prices about him of long gone now and he's tender line.

  • I think he'll give punters a run for their money.

  • Yeah, you certainly will.

  • If it's good ground as well, that'll suit him once.

  • It will take a break.

  • Now, before we have a look at some of the action this week.

  • What's my horse's handicap?

  • The fact that you're backing him, everyone loves a newbie.

  • That's why Paddy Power games giving all new customers 60 free spins on daily jackpot games.

  • New party power games, customers only one per customer teaser sees a planet and become a widow.

  • Now it's time to look at the racing mid week, then some interesting contest this week.

  • Coming up.

  • Nicky Henderson tends to do very well at Newbury.

  • He's got talented shift skin in.

  • On Wednesday, he could run a novice hurdle.

  • There's a listed bumper market rates on Thursday as well as the Somerset National Out wing counts, and that's also on Thursday.

  • So probably worth keeping an eye out for a few horses.

  • Jimmy, who's your next best?

  • I've got a good a couple, actually her, but my next guest, one whole see what I was going to run a couple of weeks ago and didn't she's being declared for a dunk store on Tuesday.

  • Storm Goddess pretty well treated on her best form.

  • She's £5 lower than she was at the start of the season on dhe hasn't done too badly.

  • These are a type of conditions, I think, you know, providing it's not to suffer.

  • I think she's.

  • She's an eye catcher at Doncaster.

  • That's in a free 50 on dawn Wednesday in the 3 25 at Newbury.

  • Scotch down, currently back can't be badly treated.

  • I mean, he was ready.

  • 135 other hurdles.

  • His Chase Mart currently is 122.

  • Ran very well at Sandown over Fences last year.

  • So he has, yes, some good form of offenses as well.

  • Didn't run well first time out.

  • But he always does tend to come on a bundle for his first run of the season.

  • So inspecting a better effort from him on, he could leave his reappearance effort behind.

  • Okay, so Scotch Town and Storm Goddess, then for Jimmy Bennett's whereabouts.

  • You race in this week.

  • Well, maybe I'm hoping that Storm Brendan Duke doesn't take out very house on Tuesday.

  • We lost Bunches town on Monday in the 1 45 to 2 mile rated heard on holes called Future Proof that no meat you met with interference last time in the catch Lee named Paddy Power games, Don't you think you're special Handicap Hurdle left.

  • Stand over Christmas Still a maid in over hurdles for eight runs and five places on but a heavy ground it fairy house may.

  • Well, serious thing.

  • Anyone has made it on for dear lines on on Abby Surface.

  • Okay, excellent.

  • Now it's time to get those midweek.

  • Perhaps this will once again I'll go to you first.

  • Jimmy here the most keen on this week.

  • Also most keen on if it runs on Friday.

  • The three o'clock at Muscle bro.

  • The whole school kid Jackie finished second at Doncaster last time being put up £6 for that finishing second Thio Really exciting type of J.

  • P.

  • McManus to school Pajero.

  • I thought that was a good race for the great.

  • He's up in class here, but this looks ah, week race for the grade, whereas I thought last time out he was running in a better quality affair, actually, even though it was a class for he seems to improve for the switch to Nicki Richards.

  • Plenty of rain about this week, but I don't think the soft ground will bother him.

  • And very genuine psychic Jackie in the three o'clock at muscle, superb and pull been field, I'm gonna go for stolen silver of Nigel Twisted Davidson in the 1 45 newbie on Wednesday.

  • Maybe he does have another option in the rushing to Maine on a dock on Saturday.

  • I hope he goes to Newbury.

  • No doubt your Lambert correspondent James Byrne is pouring through the form book as we speak, but this one was second to Chantry House last month when the winner was very heavily supported on his timber bow.

  • Stolen and stolen silver is clearly well regarded by the Twist, and Davis team are 16 to 1 for the bet fair heard or on.

  • I think you'll be very tough customer to be in office company next time.

  • L That's very interesting.

  • Next up minutes.

  • That's all we've got time for today, hopefully, plenty off Children.

  • Clues will be on display out the weekend, so fingers crossed for that if you do need some more help, though, Bruce on the team will be back on Friday to review the weekends card in a lot of detail.
