A crowd of thousands gathered to see Irish costumes, musicians and dancers parade across the middle of Grant Park D.

Andrew Collins is part of an elite group of acrobats and that perform around the city.

But his troupe started off as something very different in his own words.

He's part of the Jesse White Tumbling Team, a group that's been coming to this parade for more than 60 years.

Collins has been preparing for this team his whole life ever since being inspired by his uncle, one of the original Jesse White.

So that's how American organizations celebrate.

But we wanted to see how regular Americans celebrating culture rich there.
