  • We're taking a look at something a little bit different, a little bit interesting here.

  • This is an HD kit from Sakura Wars to which I have no experience with.

  • So I have no idea about the backstory or anything about this.

  • But this is the HD 1 20 scale Kabuki I sakura Xingu Gee type, so I don't know who that character is.

  • This is the pink version, as you can see the background.

  • There is also the white version of Purple Version.

  • There's a couple more kids coming out in the lines so that pretty interesting kids there in 1 20 scale, which is the same as most machining Krieger kits and have the various kind of similar kind of vibe to machine and Krieger in that like it's a 1/20 scale, like pretty short kind of small size mech in terms of its scale, anyway. 00:00:49.340 --> 00:01:0.020 And then, like the pilots sitting inside there like that in a very similar way to the machine, Krieger kits and actually like the display on the inside of this, actually remember seeing like a post online something about it. 00:01:0.020 --> 00:01:4.200 I was actually taken like direct from one of the different kids. 00:01:4.200 --> 00:01:5.440 I think the ammo night or something. 00:01:5.440 --> 00:01:12.460 Maybe like that from Machine and Krieger that the display on the inside of this is very, very similar to that from machine quicker.

  • But anyway, it's more sort of like a steampunk samurai, a version of like a machining krieger problem or something like that.

  • And so we got some nice a box are here on the front background image is really nice, of course.

  • Very pretty imagery here on the front of the box.

  • And as always, guys, as we get into a big thank you to you as the gun in store for their support, check the link down below description there.

  • There's also the USA condom store code that you guys couldn't use.

  • Their Zuccarelli is 10 no, save you 10% off everything there on the site, including this and anything else you guys want to pick up.

  • So we got this same image there on the side of the box.

  • But here on the bottom of the box, you can see a little bit more about the kit.

  • There is front and rear images.

  • Got these interesting cables and pipes are going around here on the back like that was kind of very unique, designed for this. 00:01:58.940 --> 00:02:1.020 And then it's got action that's got this big sword. 00:02:1.020 --> 00:02:1.520 Of course. 00:02:1.520 --> 00:02:2.730 Got a couple different hand options. 00:02:2.730 --> 00:02:5.740 Looks like just open hands and holding hands Pretty much the most part. 00:02:5.740 --> 00:02:16.410 I'm sending those eyes obviously gonna track back and forth along that path there on the front of the head and then And when you open this up, you've got the pilot figure they're inside.

  • So something that's not going to look quite like that is gonna take some painting, which is probably gonna be all molded in one color.

  • We'll see once we get it cracked open here on the other side a little bit more just about this particular mecca unit.

  • So it's cool.

  • We got that.

  • They're in Japanese and English, and then over here about the Sakura character there as well.

  • And over here, just the sacharow wars to a serious line up.

  • You can see just the other types, and they're they're pretty much the same.

  • I think basically the main difference is gonna be the color the pilot figure inside.

  • And I think the weaponry may differ slightly, but not really gonna be a whole lot different between the two of those there.

  • Now, the list price for this was around 3500 yen somewhere around there, if I remember correctly.

  • So around 40 bucks or something for this. 00:02:57.450 --> 00:03:0.880 So it's gonna be pretty expensive for just a band I h g kits. 00:03:0.890 --> 00:03:5.650 Considering the box is pretty standard for, like, an H G size kit as well, it's gonna be a little more expensive. 00:03:5.650 --> 00:03:13.210 I'm assuming probably some of that has to do with maybe the licensing from whoever owns the license for soccer awards to I don't think I don't I don't know.

  • I don't I'm guessing it's not sunrise.

  • So maybe that's why it's costing them a little bit more for these kids.

  • I don't know.

  • But anyway, right off the bat, I'm pretty impressed by what we're seeing here.

  • You have some nice gold apart.

  • They're the inner detail on the inside of that looks nice.

  • And just some nice different colored parts here for this, too.

  • Nice details.

  • And then the pilot figure here, of course, like I said, it's just gonna be all in one color.

  • But it looks good there.

  • We got some Cali caps there as well, and the pink is actually in a metallic pink, which I wasn't expecting.

  • I was expecting just going straight pink, so we'll see all the runners in more detail here in a moment.

  • So you just got a few of those.

  • Do you also looks like have some wire parts and some mesh cloth for the wiring?

  • Everything's That's pretty interesting here for the manual.

  • It's just kind of different version of the box are different. 00:03:58.020 --> 00:04:3.200 Cropping of the box are essentially you got the pilot there at the bottom, the H G Soccer awards to logo there. 00:04:3.470 --> 00:04:10.560 Then appear a little blurb about the soccer wars to douse shall not die stories to read that they're in Japanese and English over here.

  • Once again, just some staff about Sacra and then a few details shots there once again, kind of just thing kind of stuff that was on the outside of the box.

  • So I'm just gonna skim through that once again.

  • It's a little more information there about the Cobra Kai and the colored guy down here at the bottom.

  • So you got the color kind of color guide for the Mecca and the color guide for the pilot or here as well.

  • You got that all in Japanese and English and it looks like markings.

  • It looks like we got some more aside markings for the eyes, which is awesome.

  • Didn't see that at a glance, but I'm guessing it's going to be pretty small.

  • There it is, a pretty small sheet of them.

  • If it's just for a couple of 1 20 scale, I's not gonna be very big.

  • Uh, but all right, we'll just go here to our parts list, which, like I said, going up to the runners is not really all that many runners.

  • It's a few of them there and then just gone through the construction of that, which looks pretty interesting.

  • Yeah, it looks. 00:04:58.380 --> 00:05:1.150 I mean, it's very similar to like how you build a machine. 00:05:1.150 --> 00:05:5.700 Krirkkiat, basically but much different sort of details on it, of course. 00:05:6.080 --> 00:05:22.270 And then we get to the back side where we got the instructions transitioning into full color here for finishing up the arms and legs it looks like on that was kind of the last few parts there on the body of final construction the body and then just how to swap the different hands and things like that holding the sword, opening that up and that's pretty much it.

  • So we can just get into checking out the runners.

  • Then it's bro.

  • Step just.

  • Here's a look at those waterside cows that you can see just get three sets of eyes.

  • They're just in case you mess them up or something.

  • Whatever you got some spares and the foil sticker sheet, which is pretty much relegated to just like different cameras and things like that.

  • So it's not really going to be too extensive in terms of color correcting stickers, which is good.

  • And we do also have a couple of jewels stickers here.

  • I'm guessing for the eyes here, one red and one in green.

  • Then we got this nice wire and mesh coating that's gonna go over that for some nice added detail.

  • You've got the always familiar P C 00 to hear polecat runner in gray and then for the A runner.

  • We've got four different colors. 00:05:59.050 --> 00:06:6.550 You got silver down there for the sword blades red up there for a couple detail parts, and that's a nice gold over here is just that moulded gold. 00:06:6.690 --> 00:06:7.650 It doesn't look too bad, though. 00:06:7.650 --> 00:06:12.380 And then some just kind of standard grade there, for it looks like some internal detail parts and some really nice detail.

  • Here it was.

  • Take a close up look at some of that detail.

  • You can see once that's all painted up everything and the screens and all that.

  • It's gonna be looking really cool.

  • So that looks nice.

  • Be one.

  • Here is some more mechanical parts, drained parts, things like that.

  • Also, in just that medium gray color, we've got runner beat to a swell for a copy of this half of the runner here never received.

  • One is getting into our main armor parts, which, like I said, is in a kind of very metallic pink color, which is pretty interesting if we take a close up look at that and see how it's got that metallic finish to that.

  • I'm guessing it's just metallic injected.

  • Being plastic there, obviously, and they're intercede to as well, just some more of that.

  • And we've got two of this sea to runner, so I'm guessing, probably parts for most of the arms and legs and stuff.

  • And finally runner D one Here is our pilot figure, which is against see looks really nice detail on this is also very cool. 00:06:59.540 --> 00:07:3.740 And what I love about this, especially is that it's in hard plastic, not soft plastic. 00:07:3.740 --> 00:07:9.540 So I really wish that for those old master grade figures that we used to get in the mass grave gates when they used to include five figures in them. 00:07:9.760 --> 00:07:11.650 But they're molded in that soft plastic.

  • Why couldn't they've been molded like this and just kind of standard hard of polystyrene plastic?

  • I don't know.

  • But I'm so glad that they did that in this case.

  • So it looks pretty interesting to be sure.

  • I'm gonna go and just get this all built up and then we'll see how it looks.

  • All right, here's how it's gonna look when it all comes together.

  • It was a pretty fun bill again.

  • If you guys missed the livestream build of this, they did build this live single back and check that out.

  • That video stored here on my channel.

  • But yeah, building up like the main interior of the cockpit was leaving the first and then the main body all arm around that.

  • That was most definitely the most interesting part about this bill.

  • Once you get to the arms and legs, then later, it's not quite as interesting as they're pretty basic.

  • Pretty simple, their arms and legs.

  • They're not quite like the nicest point of this kid.

  • Definitely the most interesting. 00:07:55.660 --> 00:08:1.660 And the nicest parts of this case are all they're on interior or just around like the main body of this. 00:08:1.660 --> 00:08:2.900 So it's a really fun build. 00:08:2.900 --> 00:08:11.270 No, it wouldn't matter what you think of the overall aesthetic of the design of this on, and I still not totally convinced on the aesthetics of this design, either.

  • I think I really enjoyed the build of it, So if nothing else, it's a fun bill, that's for sure.

  • So as for as the detail, just how it ends up, looking to stray on the box doesn't look really nice, and the gold accent parts look pretty nice around there on the back.

  • You have a lot of detail just made up by just the rivet details around on there, and it's a pretty decent sizes will see here in a little bit when we take a look at some comparisons.

  • So overall it ends up being a really fun bill.

  • Let's take a look at just some of the articulation you get out of it.

  • Now it's first double to start here with the obvious.

  • As you might expect, these eyes on the front here will rotate side to side as faras those air going to go.

  • I feel little bit sticky, though, and because of the length of that part, like sticking out from the inside to like this main part on the outside would be a little bit worried about.

  • That may be snapping once this is painted in everything.

  • If you're not careful with that, that could break.

  • Maybe so be careful with that. 00:08:58.690 --> 00:09:1.520 But those stickers therefore the eyes do look pretty nice. 00:09:1.530 --> 00:09:4.010 Those end up looking good appear on the top. 00:09:4.010 --> 00:09:6.270 You got this hatch that will open up like that. 00:09:6.270 --> 00:09:13.070 You got these flaps that will open up like then gets a nice cold parts up inside there as well like that.

  • And like that down here at the front, this part is just on a bold join there, as you can see as it just pops off kind of easily but that will be able to move around a little bit to get out of your way if you want doing certain poses.

  • And these, like square vent bits here on the side are also able to move up and down a little bit.

  • But I find they fall off very easily here as well.

  • So city, they're just meant to plug on there with this sea clip.

  • But for some reason, I'm not getting a really tight connection there for those, So there'd just be a little bit careful with that.

  • The same thing for this armor up here above the arm.

  • It's meant to move up and down a little bit.

  • But be careful with that, because the way those plug in as well, just a quick note, the nice detail up inside there.

  • But this one already got some major stress marks on that, just from trying to push it into this mess, just like pop into place there.

  • It kind of didn't really want to do it all that easily.

  • So just because what? 00:09:59.660 --> 00:10:1.080 That for the shoulder joint? 00:10:1.080 --> 00:10:7.310 As you can see, it's the typical kind of swinging Polly cap here that will swing out to the front a little bit like that. 00:10:7.320 --> 00:10:10.150 The whole shoulder joint will come out just a little bit there.

  • Otherwise it just on a ball joint.

  • Ultimately, though, you can raise the arm up pretty high like that is pretty good.

  • And then between the pink and gray parts there, you do have some rotation here as well.

  • As far as the elbow joint that is gonna be about it about 90 degrees from straits to full bender, there's kind of barely 90 degrees, as again tell very obvious seam line here between those parts.

  • This piece, though, the upper arm is one solid piece, so that's pretty good There.

  • Hand is just on a bowl Giants that could just kind of move around and rotate and in this part like armor piece on the back of the hand, could move freely a little bit there as well.

  • These armor bits here on the side are also just plugged on via ball joints of those could move around a little bit forward and back swing and move around everywhere.

  • Interestingly, these pipes on the back don't move up and down there plugged on in a certain ways that there's a pagan there to keep them straight. 00:10:57.070 --> 00:11:0.250 So I was actually expecting these to be a little bit of a bit of annoyance. 00:11:0.550 --> 00:11:1.370 Have to line them up. 00:11:1.380 --> 00:11:2.710 I actually don't have to line them up it all. 00:11:2.950 --> 00:11:9.290 There's blood in there and fixed in the exact position and nothing else around here on the back move so I can go down here to the legs. 00:11:9.570 --> 00:11:11.070 Just remove that part there in the front.

  • For the moment you can see here, this whole hip section will swing side to side a little bit like that.

  • Ultimately, you can bring the legs out to the scientist about there, which is not super.

  • Why?

  • And it's not being blocked by this kind of side skirt is just that.

  • That's the extent you get there for the joint as analysts also disappoint.

  • Ah, hard point here for plugging into action based and because of this vent here on the front, you're not really gonna be able to bring the leg forward very far forward before it's gonna be running into that.

  • We do have a bend in the knee there with a seam line on that joint part.

  • They're that great joint part also seem like here on the side of the legs, like here and here.

  • Once again, it's kind of similar to the elbow.

  • You have basically sort of almost 90 degrees, but not really gonna be a whole lot of movement there.

  • This front little ankle armour has just held on the A small bowl joint there, she'll have a tiny bit of rotation and a little bit up and down movement. 00:11:59.130 --> 00:12:3.440 Therefore, that the foot as well as you can see, you have a little bit of a Tobin there. 00:12:3.440 --> 00:12:7.260 But the whole foot will move forward and back a little bit side to side a little bit. 00:12:7.260 --> 00:12:8.880 That's just plugged on their via bald, right? 00:12:8.880 --> 00:12:11.470 And then, like I said, we have the Tobin.

  • That's a separate peace there.

  • Save us some nice bend there for that.

  • And then up underneath the feet.

  • Yes.

  • Um, nice detail their simple but no hello gaps or anything there for the main parts underneath the feet.

  • Now, of course, the whole thing does open up now.

  • This is pretty cool.

  • When you just open this whole thing forward, notice this a mesh pipe here.

  • How?

  • That's kind of a tight fit there.

  • But when you pull that out, that won't come on done because there's actually plenty stored in here.

  • So just for example, just pull that out.

  • You can see that's all.

  • Just pull.

  • It goes down into here and it's stored inside this front bit here.

  • So when this is opened up, if I can get it, open up here a little bit exams to kind of slide out and open at the same time, Yeah, that extra slack of this piping that's stored up in the front is good, because when you open this up, then that is still connected. 00:12:58.950 --> 00:13:0.810 It's not pulling anything out or anything like that. 00:13:0.810 --> 00:13:4.350 So even in this side material can see you have some nice detail there where that's exposed. 00:13:4.360 --> 00:13:8.270 But inside here is where it's gonna look really nice and you'll see those other wires. 00:13:8.270 --> 00:13:11.460 Aaron, they're flooded into the figure which is inside there.

  • And then we take a look around the other side is gonna be kind of hard to show you guys.

  • You can see all the little sticker is going in there for little screens.

  • And Bates, you have another gold part inside there as well.

  • So the detail and all the little stickers in there for everything do look really nice inside the cockpit.

  • So a lot of really nice detail inside that cockpit area there, if you wanted to have this opened up, displayed, opened up, like that painting and all that, it's gonna look really, really nice.

  • That's gonna look good.

  • Obviously, painting your pilot figure is gonna look nice.

  • Of course as well.

  • It's nice that we have those waterside decals for her eyes as well as you.

  • Don't worry about painting knows.

  • But that is a really nice gimmick there.

  • The opening gimmick for that is really cool.

  • And then you just pipe those, uh, pipes back down into the body there to keep those tight.

  • And then we've, of course, got its accessories, which are pretty limited. 00:13:57.480 --> 00:14:1.120 Basically, it's just a set of holding hands for the left in the Ryan. 00:14:1.120 --> 00:14:1.900 Just alternate hands. 00:14:1.900 --> 00:14:3.010 Who to swap those out. 00:14:3.020 --> 00:14:5.540 And then the one weapon here is just the sword. 00:14:5.540 --> 00:14:9.350 Now you do have the parts almost to make two swords. 00:14:9.420 --> 00:14:10.860 You have an extra handle and blade.

  • But you only have one of this golden hilt part here.

  • Unfortunately, really ashamed They didn't just give you two of that as well, so you could make two swords.

  • But for whatever reason, we'd only have the parts here to make the one.

  • It's really simple.

  • It's just the three parts there like that.

  • It looks pretty nice.

  • It fits into the open hand without any issue for the holding hands, I should say, but yes, anyway, it just fits into the hand like that and works pretty well, right?

  • And then, for a size comparison here is compared with a similar 1 44 scale Gundam kit and then another 1 20 scale kid here.

  • This is a Wave Prowler kit from the Machine and Krieger lines.

  • So these air always going to be similar designs and of the same scale.

  • But as you can see, it's still quite a bit larger.

  • It's definitely going to be noticeably larger here than something like a problem, which is a pretty standard size s a. 00:14:54.650 --> 00:15:2.690 F s suit here from the Mac a line, so it's gonna be a good sized roughly about the same height as your average Gundam HD 1 44 scale kids. 00:15:2.690 --> 00:15:8.880 So it's a good size kit, so I gotta say, Well, I'm still personally not really totally sold on the aesthetics of this kid. 00:15:8.880 --> 00:15:12.860 I mean again, just the whole steampunk things, Not really my whole deal.

  • And then it's like an odd mix of steampunk Mecca, samurai hole, that sort of thing.

  • It's a very strange combination, but while I'm not sold on that, I still think this is It was really fun.

  • Kid to build is very interesting, very unique.

  • And as I mentioned, especially with the internal detail and just like the main structure of the body in the details on the body is a really interesting build.

  • So I got to say, If you're in the market for something a little bit different and a little bit unique, it's not quite as expensive as a lot of machine and career kits.

  • If you wanted something like that, there's some pros and cons between the two, and this is a relatively slightly expensive kid, I mean, for just the size and the general detail of it.

  • But so I think, especially if you're a fan of a series or even if you're like me and have no experience with the Siri's.

  • But maybe you just like the design is just something that looks interesting to you.

  • Think you'll definitely enjoy that build. 00:15:58.810 --> 00:16:4.380 It's something fresh and unique, and I think, well, it is a very specific design, and it's still pretty wide open for customization. 00:16:4.380 --> 00:16:8.770 There's a lot of ways that you could go with this if you want to customize their or even if you want to do some custom painting on it. 00:16:9.120 --> 00:16:20.810 It's a kind of kid that I think would really it will be really be brought to like its maximum potential, as in like something that's really super interesting once it's like painted up in those weathering customization.

  • Some things like that on it is when it's really going to look its best.

  • I think so.

  • We'll start of the box.

  • It doesn't look pretty cool in that kind of metallic lengthy out for this and the details, everything.

  • We're all pretty good thing definitely wants you gone in and painted this and done all the work to make it your own, really make it customized that it's gonna be really awesome, especially all that internal detail inside the cockpit.

  • Now, if you're gonna display that open or not, or even If you want to customize that as well, we have some sort of custom.

  • I don't know hanger display where it's like getting some maintenance or something.

  • So you have the inside even more opened up so that it's even more visible.

  • And that could be something pretty cool he could do with this. 00:16:54.000 --> 00:17:3.600 So certainly a lot of possibilities with the different variants of this kid out there and then the other other version of this other kid from the cereal that's on the way soon. 00:17:3.600 --> 00:17:8.750 There's definitely some options they have between them if you don't if you're not particularly sold on the metallic pink. 00:17:9.020 --> 00:17:11.480 So I'm glad I got the chance to check this kid out again.

  • If you guys want to get out for itself, head down to the link in the video description there, us a goddamn store and check the kit out there on their site.

  • I think if you do decide to pick it up, you'll be pleasantly surprised as I was.

  • So I'm looking forward to working on this, um, or doing some customizing to this.

  • I'll probably change up a lot of it, probably ultimately, but that'll be something that I'll be working on later on.

  • If you guys have any further questions or comments about the build about the kid, just feel free to ask those down.

  • B level.

  • Try my best to answer those for you.

  • And as always, guys, thanks so much for watching l See you guys.

  • Next time.

  • Bye.

We're taking a look at something a little bit different, a little bit interesting here.
