My name is Kelly, and I'm a first year at Ohio State University.

Today is October night, 2019.

My last class just ended 12 break has officially started today.

Well, walking around campus, I saw so many students with all their stuff packed up, ready to head home for me, something felt different.

I went back to my dorm room, I took off my backpack and I could feel the way of everything lifting off my shoulders.

College husbands hope is he almost non stop. 00:01:0.560 --> 00:01:10.600 It was like the first time I was able to not worry, not worry about having to do something every single second of the day.

With everyone gone, I was able to sit and think, Don't get me wrong.

I love this place so so much.

But I thought back, How did I end up here?

Now let's look back.

You have high school part of 25 colleges.

Yes, I know that's a lot.

And to be completely honest, I didn't think about Ohio State too much. 00:01:50.700 --> 00:02:3.970 I knew it was a big school with a lot of people, had amazing athletics and school spirit was near the city of promise, especially as a great isn't school. 00:02:5.460 --> 00:02:7.540 Finish your college of business.

May I please offer your mission?

When I received my mission letter, I was glad I got in.

Of course, I don't feel overjoyed.

It wasn't at the top of my list.

Congratulations.

After receiving all my college decisions, I knew I had to pick some place to go before May 1st Decision Day.

I was able to narrow it down to two schools as some U in the ocean.

I wasn't sure what to do.

I wasn't in love with either one and I'd never visited.

After a while, I was able to convince my mom to let me visit. 00:02:58.880 --> 00:03:0.880 Yet I can only visit one school. 00:03:2.220 --> 00:03:9.150 So I decided to visit a wish you block plane ticket and headed out by myself.

Long story short.

I was able to visit the school for in a minute student event at Fisher.

But the help of two amazing students had no idea who I was.

And let me stay with them forever.

Grateful for you both.

You know who you are.

Anyways, when I first visited the school.

They thought it was nice.

I didn't get that feeling that everyone around me was telling me about how they fell in love with their school as soon as they stepped on campus.

E felt weird because I didn't really get that feeling.

But yeah, I like my school.

I like the city was in.

So I made my decision and I've been here for about eight weeks now. 00:03:54.310 --> 00:04:0.020 And I can tell you with confidence, I love my school and I do not regret my decision. 00:04:0.650 --> 00:04:9.860 I found love with people, opportunities, food in the fun activities that always go on.

There's beauty in all.

I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else.

I am a proud, though I'm busy.

I carry a lot.

My plate college has officially become the best time of my life, and I just started way.

Can't wait to see what my future holds here at the Ohio State University.

I do plan on making more videos during my school year to share my experiences to help whoever needs help.
