We sit on the floor of your office and sold through stuff because we've had a big clear out in the warehousing downstairs that story lots of stuff out just good, because that's pretty liberating.

But then you get these things that you don't know what to do it.

These were from, I think, 2009 when we bought some coffee for my Maybe she came in some toe auction off as a roast of any type.

Somebody prints you lower when one of these, then they're very hard to throw out this one.

This one's a cask or a bag.

This was probably the first cast her in the UK I could be wrong.

I could be completely wrong, but But I'm I'm pretty 75% sure that the first castor turned up in this on What are you doing it?

It's covering me and Jude.

But more than that, it's this little moment that is meaningful to me and us, so it's hard to throw it away.

But what am I gonna do with it?

Just pull it out.

Look at it and you end up with boxes of this stuff as a coffee company, you just accumulate these very physical sort of memories.

And maybe the memories are enough.

And in Tokyo let this stuff go.

This if I'm not throwing out, but I want to work out what to do with this Good soon.

Yeah.

It's been a day to think about this stuff I was cleaning up because that's good.

So, like, so much less messy.

Except that this room, which is now a little bit messier than it waas nobody's ever been, you know, because then, Masterpiece, one day, one day I'll have a consent.

All this of minimalism and goodness.

Maybe I'll even work in that.

Okay?

Having a field day field trip.

I don't know what to call this.

One time we're gonna go one time, Frasier Friends, separate thing.

So go to the York BR exhibition at some of the house on sea and virtual reality.

How was your How is your reality experience?

Great.

Well, the first BR experience, which is on a beach on she would like, walk around around.

I really wish we'd been able to film inside the Bureau 60 our exhibition, though at the same time it is most people sitting around with headsets on looking kind of weird.

It makes it feel very possible to do cool stuff in via, and that's something I really do want to do.

And it's weird because on the one hand it is very isolating.

You know the work.

We have a headset.

The policy is you're not allowed to take a photo of anyone wearing a headset, because it could have pulled you out of the experience to constantly be worried about looking stupid.

The potential for empathy and actually understanding experience through someone else's eyes is so interesting and so powerful that that I I'm just a little bit obsessed with that is definitely something there.

This is a classroom we had que going on in here this weekend.

That's what was in the cupping lab next door.

I don't I don't know where the neighbors are burning things, So I think that I come up here and maybe for the last time this year seemed a good time of day to talk about a thing that came in the mail that I bought, which was this goodbye.

Friend of mine got Jason shelters on Jason is a founder of Market later Melbourne.

He's one of the founders there.

He was a roaster in London for Monmouth when I first met him back when square Miles started.

And he's written a pretty great book because I think he's written a book that you'll want to give people a book to give someone who likes coffee that is gonna get them in a little bit deeper.

What I really like is that Jason mixes objective and subjective.

There's a lot of opinion in this book.

I like that.

I'm here at work A little bit early this morning was like 27.

Still, because I'm recording a podcast with somebody in Australia.

So you know, I can make state later work, so I'm gonna come in early.

We're gonna call that it's gonna be a good one.

And then and then on with the day deceptive, I went down to old Spitalfields Market where they have right now as part of London cocktail week.

They have atomic cocktail village in the middle of the market.

Tia Maria were down there.

They were using our coffee because the Net was doing some stuff with them.

Drinks, coffee, cocktails.

It was pretty quiet.

It was the middle of the day, which is good.

It's kind of blown away at how kind of bro we and male cocktail culture still is.

And it was interesting.

It reminded me of how coffee culture was going in the mid to thousands in the U.

K.

Where I think there's like a big drive from the Italian style stuff to be like Maur, like bartenders and tow have kind of flaring type Boris to competitions that were a lot more about show and not really about product and the rise of the W, B.

C and its current form that can kill those pretty quickly.

But I'm glad coffee didn't go that way as much as I love cocktails, and I love cocktail buzz aspect of the culture like I'm really not into for you, thank you.

Another day, another event of swimming.

We have London latter out smack down on tonight.
