  • If you do, I would appreciate it if you gave the video of thumbs up.

  • Okay, let's get straight into the content.

  • So seven top tips.

  • My first tip.

  • Tip number one.

  • You should know what the interview questions will be before you attend the interview.

  • Now you might be sitting there thinking, Well, how am I gonna know what the questions are?

  • Well, I will explain how to do that right now.

  • Now, essentially, there are two types off interview question.

  • There are jobs, specific interview questions and there are motivational interview questions.

  • Now the way to predict the interview questions is just to take a look at the job advert.

  • The job advert in the job description are your friend.

  • They are going to help you pass the interview, so get a copy of it.

  • So this is a sample one for the role of Adminis assistant.

  • So if I just quickly read this out, I'll explain how you can use the job advert to prepare for the interview questions.

  • So it says, we're looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled admin assistant to join our team in helping make our customers experience an invaluable one.

  • You will be comfortable dealing with customers, be able to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.

  • And then this is the important part.

  • It will give you the skills and attributes.

  • Sometimes it's called essential qualities on it says there you will each have an ability to work on your own.

  • You need to be a great communicator on organizational skills.

  • You need to be friendly, confident, well presented in customer focused professional telephone manner, on understanding of the need for confidentiality and then be a team player.

  • So that's the key element that we're going to need to be able to predict the interview questions.

  • So if I then break down that essential criteria, you can see there that I've listed them ability to work on your own initiative.

  • Will.

  • The interview question pretty much guaranteed will be described a time when you worked on your own initiative to complete a difficult task the next one.

  • Be a great communicator and have organizational skills.

  • The question will be described a time when you utilized great communication skills at work on DDE.

  • Explain how you manage your workload on a daily basis.

  • The next part being friendly, confident, well presented, customer focused described a time when you delivered excellent customer service the next bit on understanding of the need for confidentiality.

  • The interview question will be described a time when you demonstrated confidentiality in a work situation and then the big one at the end.

  • The team player.

  • The question would be one of you worked his partner team to complete a difficult task so you could just look at the job at the and you can decide for the interview questions from that.

  • If you want me to do it for you, tell me what job you've got in the comments section below the video on.

  • I'll give you a list of questions to prepare for.

  • Okay, moving on to tip number two.

  • So we've already covered the job.

  • Specific interview questions.

  • But what about the motivational ones?

  • What are they going to be?

  • What?

  • There are essentially seven motivational interview questions that the vast majority off interview is used during interviews, and here they are.

  • 1st 1 Tell me about yourself.

  • It's pretty much guaranteed to be the first question.

  • I'm gonna come on to that in a second and give you a sample Answer next.

  • One.

  • What are your strengths?

  • What are your weaknesses?

  • Where do you see yourself in five years time?

  • Why do you want to leave your current job?

  • What can you bring to the role?

  • And also, how would your coworkers describe you?

  • Okay, now these are relatively common interview questions.

  • And if I was in your position, I would have my answers ready for all off these.

  • So all you need to do to pass your interview is to prepare the answers for the motivational interview questions.

  • Which there on the page on the job specific ones.

  • So you know, howto decipher the job specific interview questions from the job advert.

  • So we're making good progress.

  • Now let's move on to tip number three.

  • Now, the first interview question is always the toughest to answer.

  • Okay, The reason being is you've just gone into the interview.

  • You are thinking, What are they gonna ask me?

  • And you may be nervous, but you pretty much know what the first question is gonna be.

  • They're not going to say to you.

  • Okay, let's start off.

  • Can you tell me when you worked as part of a team to achieve a difficult task, they're going to say to you.

  • Okay, tell me about yourself and why you are suited to this role.

  • So you should have this answer ready.

  • Here's my sample.

  • Answer for this question.

  • Tell me about itself.

  • I am a hardworking, enthusiastic and professional team worker who takes pride in their work and their standards.

  • Now having studied the job advert on the job description.

  • The essential skills needed to perform the role well, I believe, are a perfect match for my own attributes.

  • I'm at the stage in my life where stability is really important, and I would like this job so that I could realize my career goals and also work for a forward thinking, innovative company who has exciting plans for the future.

  • I believe that if you give me the opportunity to work for you, you will be impressed with my work ethic, my professionalism on dhe commitment to the rock.

  • Now that is a pretty short but sharp and punch your response that could be used in any kind of job interview whatsoever.

  • Okay, so you can use that if you want to, But you'll also notice that it's positive in nature.

  • So every single word that I'm describing in that response is positive.

  • There's no negativity in there at all.

  • It's a really strong response, So tip number four moving on from positive to negative stuff.

  • Do not say anything negative in your interview.

  • Know some people do this unwittingly.

  • They don't mean to say it, but they end up ice end up saying something that is negative.

  • Remember the interview panel?

  • Don't know you.

  • This is the birds.

  • First time they've met you.

  • Yes, they have read the CV and you know, you resume and it reads brilliantly.

  • And then you get in the room.

  • They don't know you.

  • They don't know what you like.

  • So you have to be positive throughout.

  • So don't say things like I'm sorry, but I'm feeling really nervous.

  • Don't say is Of course you're gonna be nervous, but just don't say it doesn't matter.

  • They will expect you to be nervous.

  • I don't have much experience, but I can do a good job.

  • That in itself is negative.

  • Medicinal center.

  • Well, I don't have much experience.

  • Sell yourself.

  • Don't mention anything about your lack of experience.

  • Just persuade them that you are the right person for the job.

  • Don't say this.

  • I want to leave my job because I don't particularly get on well with my boss or there are a couple of people I don't like in the team or the company is boring now to work with.

  • They're not moving forward in the right direction.

  • If you think about it.

  • If someone was saying that to you.

  • An interview.

  • You would think they were quite a negative person on.

  • Also, don't mention anything about Oh, I've got some holidays coming up in a few weeks time.

  • And don't say to them how much leave do I get?

  • What's his salary for this job?

  • You know, just focus on the positive things and a bubble.

  • Do not please say this in your interview.

  • So what do you guys do here now?

  • I've been interviewing people for over 20 years, and I I'm amazed at how many people turn up to interview when they say so.

  • What you do what your products in your service is?

  • There is no way I will give them the job because they've done zero research.

  • So make sure you know about the company you're applying to join, But don't mention any of those negative things.

  • Tip number five.

  • Now, there are eight brilliant things you can say in an interview.

  • There are eight brilliant things you can see it in into.

  • Here they are.

  • I've carried out my research.

  • I've been attracted to your company.

  • So these two great things that you've carried out research you are attracted to them.

  • And you can say my CV or my resume A is a match for the job advert and you can also move on and say my previous skills and experience are a match for the job description.

  • So if you said that to me, I'd be thinking, Hey, this this person already has the skills required for the role.

  • You can also say I enjoy working as part of a team to achieve difficult tasks where you can say I'm someone who likes to continually learn and develop.

  • You could say that.

  • Use that in the Tell me about yourself.

  • Question right.

  • The star.

  • Well, I'm somebody who likes to continually learn and develop.

  • I want to employ people who liked to continually learn and develop.

  • Next thing I'm self motivated on, I'm a fast learner.

  • I want you to find out for yourself.

  • I am very excited about this job.

  • I want to build a career with your company on dhe.

  • I have a plan in place of what I'm going to do if I get the job.

  • Now, If you said that to May, I would be like, Okay, this is interesting.

  • And I would go back to you and say, Well, what's your plan?

  • Now?

  • If you do utilize that that one brilliant thing in an interview where you say okay, if I'm successful, I already have a plan in place of what I'm going to do, and I will say, What will you do?

  • Here's your three stage plan Number one.

  • Well, I will learn the role inside out in the fastest time possible by taking notes and studying them in the evenings after work, I will integrate into the team by getting to know my work colleagues and finding out how I can support them on the team.

  • So they are three things you can say in your plant.

  • If you do utilize that Final one of the eight brilliant things to say in your interview.

  • Tip number six.

  • It was your biggest competitors on What could I do in this role to help you beat them again?

  • And I would be like, quite like this person.

  • They obviously you're thinking about my competitors or what they can do to contribute to better than next question.

  • Where do you see the company headed in the next 5 to 10 years?

  • Because that tells me you're planning on staying with on my company for a long time, which is what I want to do.

  • I don't want you coming in and then leaving in six months time.

  • I want you to be there for the long haul on help the company to move forward on.

  • It's exciting future.

  • Tip number seven.

  • Now, when you finish the interview, you get home when you get back from the interview.

  • Send this e mail or letter, preferably an email.

  • If you can hear, we go.

  • So this is the email.

  • So in the subject line, you would put reference job interview and then put your date on there and then put something like this.

  • Dear Sir, Madam, following on from today's job interior, I wanted to place on record my thanks for an informative and enjoyable experience.

  • Join the application and interview process.
