I thought it was a fantastic card, but you know what I also thought was a fantastic card?

The GT 10 30 The GDR five version That is because when in video later released the DDR four version the recent re release of the card, it was an absolute disaster.

As far as I'm concerned, it cut performance in half in certain games.

And it's not just me that thinks this.

There are other review sites out there that say the same thing.

I mean, it's a pretty diabolical card on one of the worst graphics card releases in modern times, if you ask me.

But that's just my opinion.

Although this made me a little bit worried when I started to hear about a three gig Do Ticks 10 50.

I mean, I love the 10 50.

It's a fantastic car for budget gamers.

And although the three gig version does feature more V ram than the original one slightly less than the more powerful 10 50 t I, it does feature slightly different specs.

And so it got me thinking as to how it would perform in comparison to those two aforementioned cards.

So, of course, there's only one way to find out.

We must benchmark the three gig GTX 10 50 against the two gig original version of the card, as well as the 10 50 TR four gigabyte version to see how well it does.

So the test bench is my usual rise and 5 1600 pc, featuring eight gigs of 2400 megahertz DDR four expanding on the 10 50 specs a little.

And I want to reiterate the part about the reduced memory interface with as well as the lower memory bandwidth in comparisons of the two other cards.

Gig 10 50 is identical to the T I.

So it'll be interesting to see how these specs affect things gameplay wise.

First of all, I ran the far cry five in game benchmark.

The standard to gig 10 fifties memory is exceeded on the high priest that I used, so I wondered how this would affect the overall frame rate when compared to the three gigabyte card.

There was some difference, as shown in the benchmark graph here with the three gig 10 50 pulling ahead, it was still closer to the two gigabyte variants than it was to the performance off the four gigabyte 10 50 t I, though in Battlefield one, the three gig 10 50 once again performed well at high settings, just like its counterparts.

The footage and figures were taken from the opening level of the game, and, as you can see in this instance, the three good cards sat closer to the more expensive Tea I version of the GPU than it did to its little brother.

In a bit of a foolish move, I left the default frame cap on and fallout for their It did allow me to see if all the cards could achieve and maintain a solid 60 frames per second.

This was almost the case with the to get 10 fifties frame rates falling behind ever so slightly, but the difference was again quite negligible, in my opinion, stop me if this is getting repetitive.

But in Pub ji again, the results between the two gig and three get card were quite similar, I have to say, though the three good card offered slightly less stutter due to perhaps the extra gigabytes of memory.

But what I will say is that the lower band width of the three good card may actually have the opposite effect in some games.

For example, I saw those talks Hardware's video on this card, and he saw a lover average in GT A five with the three gigabyte variants than the two Big one.

So bear that in mind as well again.

That I've really been enjoying lately is the recently released the Crew to as an open world racer that give you the whole of the United States to explore.

I thought it would be interesting to see how each GPU handled it.

If you guessed the same as all the others, you'd be correct with the cards.

Once again performing in ascending order of Memory are then play through the introduction of Wolfenstein, too, with the ultra preset and so respectable frame rates across the board once again.

So far, the three gig 10 50 has been so close to the standard version, it makes me wonder why it was really released.

I know it's got more V around, but it's also got that cut down bandwidth, so it's a bit of an odd decision by in video.

Still, at least this whole situation isn't a repeat of that Dede off Ford GT 10 30 fiasco.

Finally, in fortnight, the game run on high settings across all three cards without issue.

And as expected, though, the average was even closer here with the 2 10 fifties than it has been beforehand in the other games.

Again, this car does its job and the extra gigabyte is nice.

But then the reduced bandwidth sort of takes away from that little.

So overall, the three give 10 50 is a bit of a weird one.

It doesn't really need to be there.

It's been released, but I don't know why.

Well, the performance obviously isn't bad.

It sits between the 10 50 10 50 t I.

As I expected.

The gap for that card has already been filled by the to get 10 50 which in my opinion, is better value at it's slightly lower price.

If you have a bit more to spend and go for the four, give 10 50 t i, but I can't really see myself recommending the three give 10 50 due to those air slightly cut down specs when we sort of look away from that Veer am.

But if you want a graphic start on the cheap, go for the to give 10 50.

And if you've got a bit more to spend, go for the 10 50 t I forget version.

The 10 53 gig is good, but it's just a little bit pointless.
