Every single time that you leave the house, you should feel a chic.

But also it shouldn't look like you tried too hard.

So that's kind of what I want to touch on today.

Cem Effortlessly chic ways to dress The first thing that I want to do is to have a classic and simple base.

Some outfit.

Examples of this might be Dunham on bottom and then a knitwear piece on top like a sweater.

Otherwise I could do something like a skirt with a classic ti thes air.

Very simple basics that I'm always going to have in my closet.

They're never going to go out of style, and the key here is that they need to look tailor made for you.

They shouldn't look too bulky or like you got it off the rack.

It should actually look like it fits you properly.

So even if you're not going out in shopping for new pieces, look in your own closet and see which pieces you could really tailor to fit you properly.

Next is to stick to three colors or less with every outfit This used to be a design trick that I used all the time, and it really lead to some really sophisticated looks, and you can do this with your own outfit.

The key here is cystic, with something that could be a simple as black white and then adding another color, so that could be something.

If you really like color and you don't want to feel too limited, you could add red to that.

Or you could add something like a brown or a neutral, so it could be even something like black, white gray.

The key is to stick to three colors, and that's going to help you just run out the door so much faster in the day without putting too much time and effort into creating the perfect outfit.

Next, accessories are key here, So whenever I wear a now outfit, I'm always thinking about what jewelry to where it comes up in virtually every single one of my videos because it is one of those transformation pieces, something that could take a basic outfit and elevate it to be something else entirely.

The key.

Whenever shopping for accessories in general, it could be jewelry.

It could be hats, scarves, bags.

The key here is to find first little pieces so that you could wear that same purse or jewelry piece every single day.

And that could be something that is a signature piece of your style.

No, I like to be ableto layer on necklaces.

The key here is to have ones that are sort of a different lengths.

Ah, one thing that I have on today is the Zodiac necklace, in addition to a couple of small chokers that won't really have any tangling problems.

The key here, too, is that when I wear these chokers, I do like to get them in 14 karat gold, at least because then I'm going to be able to wear them when I'm working out and sleeping.

And that also is going to just make everything look much more chic, even if I'm just got leggings on in a sports bra.

Finally anklets.

I am getting a couple of includes today for this outfit, but I am looking ahead, toe warmer weather.

And one thing that I'm really looking forward to is spending a lot of time outside and in the water.

So that's why I went ahead and got the gold ones for that as well.

When in doubt, I always try to get a pointed toe shoe.

So if I want an outfit that's going to look much more elongating, this is a handy little trick.

And it gives sort of an edge to every single outfit.

When I'm talking about shoes that have pointed toes, it could be anything from flats, boots, heels, anything, really.

And that's going to just make me look like my Alfa is more expensive and more chic.

And because, like I said, it elongates you visually, even if with flats it is going to add a couple of inches vertically, and that really helps a girl like me who's standing probably at five foot one.

Okay, I've talked about every sort of outfit and that I could put together, But I also want to talk about outerwear.

Sometimes outerwear is the first thing that I want to put together with my outfit because it's pouring down rain outside, for instance.

Or maybe it's super cold and windy.

So I wanna have smart choices when it comes to outerwear, and when it comes out of where to these pieces take a beating, they want to protect you from all the elements, and they also want to be the one thing that they're going to display to you out in the world on those terrible weather days.

So something's to invest early on in is outerwear like leather jackets, wool coats, trenches and even denim jackets.

These are examples of how to fight the elements and still look absolutely incredible.

So it is important to invest in these pieces and find ones that are going toe last the test of time regarding fashion.

So a lot of these jackets could be things that are trendy, and that's something to be a little bit careful of.

If you're just starting out that you have those basics in your closet, they are never going to go out of style.

If you think of that classic Parisian girl who has the perfect wardrobe, what does she have?

And usually is things like leather jackets, things that she is going to wear every single day, something that is going to just be her jacket.

You know, the one when it comes to bags.

I like to wear a smaller bag if possible.

I know that's not always practical.

If you have to carry your laptop with you or files with you or even if you are a mom and you have a diaper bag.

But what I want to drive home here is that ah, small bag is going to look much more chic.

Sometimes if I have to carry a laptop per se, I will carry a smaller bag inside the toad just so I can store the tote somewhere really safe.

Whether it's, you know, my car locker or a desk.

And then I can run out with my small clutch and just go get coffee and that I'm not carrying around everything with me in my day.

That is such a beautiful technique, especially for petites, where large bags can be so overwhelming very quickly.

The final two tips have to do with things that are not necessarily outfit related.

The first thing is hair.

I think a lot of people like toe have every little strand in place.

But if you're looking for that effortlessly chic style and almost used to be a little bit more on the bed head side, there's a mystery there and it's like, Oh, who is that you know, especially if the outfit is, like, just on par perfect, and then the hair might be a little tosel DDE that is a beautiful, sexy look.

And any time that hair is like, absolutely perfect, especially if my hair is six straight.

I wanna add just a little bit of texturizing moves or some hair spray, or even just some loose curls, and then comb the curls through so that they're not so perfect.

That is a beautiful, effortlessly chic look.

And then for a makeup.

I could spend a lot of time on my makeup in the morning, But I think sometimes my most favorite look is to just the moments when I don't have a lot of time when I have to put on just a quick, a little color of lipstick.

And then I also want to put on some mascara just to perk up my eyes a little bit.

And sometimes that is just such a beautiful look, especially if the outfit is very chic.

So it's a contrast there.

It's something where I feel naturally beautiful, and then my outfit is going to be much more sophisticated.

So that's something that I can really do to make sure that my whole look doesn't look too overdone.
