The other day I switched my PC on on after running a couple of programmes.

It's switched off now.

At first I was a little concerned, and then I realized that I had been playing with various over clocks the night before on Dhe.

All I had to do Waas reset the clock speed to auto in the BIOS.

Problem solved.

But it got me thinking if I went to someone with a similar problem on, I was a little less experienced and I hadn't had so much time to tinker around over the various years with PC parts.

What would people's solutions be if I asked a few tech gurus or wizards or whatever you want to call them?

What would they come up with as a solution to my problem?

So I'm sure a lot of you have heard of websites like fiver, for example, there are a few different ones or basically offering the same thing.

And what their sights to know to do is to pay for service is now.

There are all manner of service is on these sites available, for example, you can get someone to write you a curriculum vitae if you're applying for a new job, or you can get someone to write you an essay for school if you really can't be bothered.

But I don't condone that, or you can ask people for their PC repair guidance.

And that's exactly what I did.

So a fabricated the whole situation here, basically along the lines off this similar issue that I had already resolved.

But I basically said that I had a problem with my PC resetting, and I was just looking for some tech advice.

So there were a few various gurus wizards, like I said before, whatever you wanna call them, who were offering their expertise at various prices.

And I have a few solutions that I'd like to discuss with you guys today because I thought some of them were pretty interesting to say, the least one of them.

It's certainly something else, but let's get into it on there.

So I tried a few different sites on.

Basically, my question was worded the same I started with Hello.

I have a problem with my PC.

It keeps restarting, even at stock speeds.

I really don't know how to fix this.

I was just looking for some advice.

Now, the first person whose advice I seek their service is cost £6.83.

And this is what £6.83 worth of advice got me.

I thought this was a pretty good solution.

Now, just before I read this, there are a few things that may cause your PC to be restarting.

It could be overheating.

It could be that the power supply isn't good enough for your system specs.

It could be an over clock that isn't stable, just to name a few.

But here's the response I got for my £6.83 hard earned British pence.

Hello.

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with your PC.

I would suggest removing the CPU, re applying the thermal paste, removing the ram reapplying that reapplying the ram.

That sounds a bit odd, but reapplying the ram.

This cost £2.49 an absolute bargain for some solid tech advice.

And this guy had a pretty solid rating as well.

So I went in with same question regarding my resetting issues.

And here is what the second person had to say.

I don't know why anyone would pay to be insulted.

I sure got a laugh from it.

I don't know how much money is made from various jokes and gags, but I hope it's a lot.

£5.16 I'm still waiting for their response.

This is why this video is about three or four days later than the one before it.

Because I was waiting for a few responses and unfortunately, this guy did not get back to me at all.

£7.16 these on in any particular order, by the way, they basically said something along the lines of person.

So the final response and by far the best response for £4.42 came from a guy by the name of Michael who had a few ratings.

You know, he wasn't too badly rated, and we're going to actually work through these steps together.

I haven't actually tried to implement this fixed yet because I just thought it would be funny to see what sort of an impact on performance this would have.

But you'll see what I mean by that in a second.

So let's get into the advice I got for my money here, and we'll work through the steps at the same time.

Now these dudes gardens was actually pretty comprehensive, and in the first part it was pretty decent.

I think he certainly could have helped me resolve this issue if it had been a real situation.

I'm sure with this person's help, I would have fixed my PC.

But let's get straight into it.

The first thing to do is check that all the cables are plugged in to each individual corresponding slots, as well as the power supply itself.

But it's just not the sort of advice I would give out was.

I think whilst it could possibly solve a problem like this, it's going to hinder performance as well.

But let's get into it now just to make one thing clear.

I didn't have a real problem here.

I just wanted to send my specs to this guy to see what other solutions he would come up with, had his advice not worked so far.

What would he then recommend?

Well, this is what happened, so he But I managed to find a gigabyte instruction manual online for this specific bold, so I should be able to guide you through all the necessary steps.

It details all off the various motherboard options in that manual.

There should be a system memory multiply option on this page, according to the manual used the Arrow key to navigate to that, we should also read Auto Now, normally, mind would read 3200 megahertz because I use 3200 megahertz DDR four.

But when I said it to all, tow the motherboard seems to assume that it's 2133 megahertz ram.

So I have to set mine manually every time.

It's only the fact that I've pressed F seven here that it's reset to order.

He found the motherboard manual, guided me through a lot of steps, but he also offered me all of that advice in the beginning as well And whilst I don't think it was the best advice, the second part, you've gotta respect that.

He did give me a lot of information for my money, but it's it's information that could easily be found through the use off free methods such as Google, for example.

So, yeah, I mean, I'm in two minds about the whole thing.

At least he didn't ask me to disable core performance boost either.

So I guess that's one plus.

So I'm gonna go ahead and open up.
