very special video that I have for you here today I'm actually gonna be

interviewing one of my students of my course Top Notch Resume her name is

Jasmine. Jasmine has seen significant results having taken the course she

actually went from being unemployed and almost going on government social

assistance because she wasn't getting any interviews and she was starting to

run out of money to the point where after she took the course she was

getting numerous interviews and now she's landed her fortune 500 company job

offer and she works in a corner office so Jasmine thank you so much for being

here with me today sure I'm happy to be here

so Jasmine what was the job search like before you came into contact with

top-notch resume before I met Linda and took the top-notch resume course I was

just stuck with minimum wage jobs working two jobs and I was constantly

tired and I'd apply for the jobs that I knew I had earned with all of my

schooling and all of my training but I was never getting those interviews I was

just I was mainly looking for jobs with the psychology degree I couldn't really

find decent work with that and saw stuck with normal wage jobs and when I was

doing my own master's in education did like the business program graduate

school and you know I still wasn't getting you know what I knew I deserved

it took 10 years for me to get what I wanted and I really wish that I had the

information sooner so it wouldn't have been such a struggle my family you know

they've been through the process too and my mom's older and my sister um she

didn't finished college and so it's it's been a 10-year process it took you 10

years before you found this first full-time corporate job so for 10 years

you were applying for jobs and you just weren't getting job offers basically

like full-time job offers yes like I mean yes it was a ten year process Wow I

actually did okay so I actually didn't know this I thought it was maybe like oh

I was looking for a job for six months kind of deal you must have applied to

hundreds of jobs and like corporate jobs that you just didn't get job offers for

then yeah definitely and I didn't want you know moved back with my parents or

anything like that you know it's I know there was a lot of mistakes

though like think that it's critical choosing your University in your major

well you have those skillsets and you're not finding yourself getting the job

offers that you know you deserve ya talk not to resume will solve it so you're

working minimum-wage jobs you had a degree in psychology

you found top-notch resume when I first launched it the first time around and

what happened I was searching for person like you you know an expert and you know

career development resumes and interviewing and so I saw your YouTube

channel I'm I watched all your videos and I knew that you were offering like

one on one and yeah your resume course and I definitely applied what top notch

resume had taught and phone calls were flying in so it was a salary I needed it

was everything I was looking for I put my profiles on indeed LinkedIn and I

believe there were a couple of others but I put my profiles up on there I made

sure that they all you know we're in line with each other for insurance

because I I know that's a lucrative field and now I'm experiencing that and

it's awesome I learned a lot and it got me to where I needed to be you know i

applied to jobs and it was just it was a piece of cake I'm just curious before

you found out about my course and you ever saw me on YouTube did you actually

try to look for information yourself like Google information on how to write

resumes and things on your own and what was that process like was that helpful

for you this is what I found I found that there is an overwhelming amount of

information out there because I bought like eight to ten books talking about

careers and some of the stuff in those books you talk about but you make it

plain and simple into the point no I just feel like a lot of information it's

just kind of like beating around the bush and yes you need to be on LinkedIn

okay this is how to make a resume but it's not talking about all of it like

bringing it all together like even more specifics with the resume on and so

those eight to ten books were helpful and they're New York bestsellers they're

recent books that have come out but I found that your course was the most

helpful just because you're very very very very specific and detailed and here

easy to understand so taking your course and then right in my resume you know the

next day I mean the problem was solved so yeah spending hundred dollars on

books because I wanted to help my family also so I spent hundreds of dollars on

books for me and my family know to help them get to where they need to be and

you know your course fixed it all so I wasn't overwhelmed with them a lot of

information or anything like that I was just able to apply with them I have

learned in your course and you know that fixed it so when you were searching for

her job how many jobs did you actually do you think offhand do you think you

applied to before you took top notch a resume and then when you took top notch

resume how many jobs did you apply to how many interviews did you get like

what are the statistics you know before top notch resume applying to 10 to 20

jobs you know nothing and then I'm just settling from him away I never heard

anything back or maybe I got an interview and I never got the job and

then after Tommen's resumes every job I apply to I at least got a call or

interview or something it it was never no response and I'm hearing back from

them of getting interviews so it was awesome it was very overwhelming because

it was something I wasn't used to but I expected it because you know I had put

in the effort and I had listened to your expertise and oh lord knows I needed it

you're definitely a god-sent you know everything I was looking for so

and that's awesome I'm so I'm so glad to hear that too I mean what do you think

it was about top-notch resume that helped you well to be quite honest it

was everything I mean there is no one resume for even if it is the same field

I believe that you do have to make a resume for each job I mean it you know

if you really want to have some success with it and that's what I did and you

know I'm I'm glad that I did and I'm great now how has your life changed now

having taken the course compared to your old life like how do you feel now what's

your what's your outlook everyday like well I feel there's hope I feel like I'm

where I need to be you know it's not like I'm just worried and wondering and

I'm getting in the debt like I can actually pay my bills I can actually

save I can actually best I can actually do all the things I

need to do monetarily to provide the life that I work so hard to go to school

and you know I can look forward to just bright beginnings and new opportunities

and I can do everything I need to do I figured that out now with your help

definitely and life is good now it's not a struggle anymore

that's awesome that's great and now that you've taken the course and you've

learned how to really truly write and craft a compelling attractive resume

does that not give you that sense of confidence as well where you know that

moving forward in your career you'll always know how to apply for jobs you'll

always know that you can continue to grow in your career yeah it's it's

beautiful I know that I will always always have the steps you know the

lifetime steps of you know writing your resume on going into these interviews

knowing how to keep in touch with the hiring manager yeah I have all of those

critical skills that are essentially important you need to know those

critical things because you can get stuck in systems with applications

applications no callbacks and it can be a tedious exhausting process it's that

talk not resume of course just one course fix at all you know years of

frustration that put the nail through the wood I mean that was that brought it

all together it's awesome that's it's been amazing it's definitely changed my

life so I'm very grateful you know what would you say Jasmine what would you say

to someone who is in their job search also struggling you know maybe they've

applied to 10-20 maybe even a hundred jobs I've seen that and they haven't

been able to land interviews what would you tell them to do would you recommend

that they take the Top Notch Resume course to fix their resume and and apply

what would you say to them talk about resume we'll fix your questions and I

definitely recommend it because why spin your wheels and waste your time and all

this energy wondering and asking all these questions when you can just simply
