struggling to land her dream career for about three months she had been looking

for three months wasn't getting any job offers and just after we started working

together she was able to land her dream job within just a week!

her story with you today I want to introduce her Sasha thank you so much

for joining me here today Hi Linda thank you for having me

absolutely so what I really want to start with asking you Sasha is why don't

you tell us a little bit about your background you know when you were

looking for a job what was what were you dealing with what were you struggling

with because I know that you are a CPA in progress you're pursuing your CPA can

you tell us a little bit about your story so I graduated from University in

2017 new accounting and I found a job as an

accountant at a very small logistic company my dream carrier was to working

at a big accounting firm so I tried to look on my own for several months but I

after I sent out over 50 job applications I only got 2 to 3

interviews and for those interviews that there wasn't any follow-up after the

interview therefore I was feeling low confidence

so that's why I reached out to you ok great so you were feeling low confidence

and you were job searching for several months on your own so let's talk about

that well why were you feeling low confidence you know what was happening

because before I started to apply job I was pretty confident because I had a

ready to internship experience with big accounting firms so I feel like I have

ability to work with the accounting firm but after my job searching I feel like

oh maybe I don't have the ability to working with them maybe I am just not a

good at accounting so I started to start myself

that's my ability right and like when you would go and apply for jobs and

you'd go in for the interviews how did you feel when it came to having to sell

yourself and connect yourself with the employers how did you feel during

interviews during my previous interview I feel extremely nervous and

stressful I memorized the stuff and just to repeat them to the HR so that's why I

was nervous about that because I need to rent memorize everything and after the

interview they would just didn't give any feedback right so you tried to

memorize you thought that was the right way and you went into the interviews and

then they never called you back okay Sasha so when it came to us working

together after you signed up to work with me through Sando get hired you

ended up getting how many interviews and how many job offers like what was the

timeline what were the results so I applied a five job application to state

and they receive once reply from the employer on the same day at the end of

the week I got an interview from this company and I got the job offer on 70 so

this is a process that I received a job offer Wow amazing just so I want the

audience to be clear so Sasha actually got her job offer as soon as she applied

within that week she ended up getting the job offer but we had to do a few

weeks of work beforehand when it came to making sure that she had a really good

strong resume and implementing the right job search strategies and understanding

how to interview properly so there were several weeks that went into that

probably close to two months where then once she applied she was able to get her

dream job offer so this was after I taught you all the strategies you

applied to five positions you got one interview and then you ended

up getting the job offer for that position as well and so before you had

applied to 50 jobs and you only got you said two or three interviews is that

right yes yes only two to three interviews and a no feedback no rooms

high right amazing I'm so glad to hear that can you tell us a little bit about

how you found out about me and what made you want to reach out to me well I think

you remember is the aleutian I knew she was working at the previous company I

realized that she found a new job so when I asked her she said oh I was laid

off and I found a Linda to help to find another job and after her suggestion I

searched your YouTube and viewed all of your videos

that's you you provide a very detailed suggestions for job searching and so

that's why I found zo2 that's so funny I actually didn't know that you were

friends with Zhi Shan that's great I'm so glad to hear okay so that's how you

found it and then so when we started working together what were some of the

things that you started to learn just what were some things that you realized

you were doing wrong I think they're the wrong things that is my like the

interview skills now I know I have to speak naturally and always tell stories

with the format you taught and also the job searching strategy now I know how to

find a job more efficiently than my previous way I think of these are two

most important thing you talk to me oh absolutely

okay well I'm glad to hear that so you know I want to ask Sasha when it comes

to job searching and it comes to finding your dream career for people who are

struggling with that what would you say to them you know if they're struggling

and they're just like you what would you say to them in terms of reaching out to

a coach such as myself for help well I think for your service you can provide a

very detailed and also unique job searching strategy maybe you can provide

help based on personal situation to find jobs and also the skills each other is

very detailed so that we can follow easily I can we can ask any questions we

have and you can follow up very quickly I think that is most helpful there were

people out there struggling to find their dream job would you recommend

working with me through stand-up get hired yeah absolutely is an example I

was struggling to find a job for almost three months and then after working with

you I got a job offer within within a week that was super surprised yes

absolutely so how do you feel now Sasha I mean in terms of you know your

confidence level and your ability to be able to find a job and sell yourself to

employers how do you feel now I feel very confident you know when even after

your first session about how to revise the resume and

your job searching skills and interview skills I still felt nervous about that

too to start searching their jobs but you encouraged me to start to search so

after that when I receive a reply from the employer I started to feel oh am

good at that I'm not like a loser yes you're not a loser

absolutely okay well that's really great I'm so glad to hear and how do you feel

about your new job are you excited to start I know that you haven't started

your new job just yet yeah I'm very excited to start that I'm going to start

two weeks after it and now I can't wait to start my new job that's amazing

so Sasha let's talk about your story if there's someone out there who's watching

this video right now and is very similar to you

you know they've recently graduated maybe they're working maybe they're not

working and they've been looking for a job for several months or maybe even

longer what advice would you give them if if you could talk to them right now

well I would say if you are struggling for such a long time for months and even

longer don't try to do it to do on your own I think it's time for you to ask for

other health I made a decision to work with Linda and now I feel very confident

and find my dream job so I think if you are in such a situation you need to find

health with Linda great well I mean I hope that they take that advice to heart

are you know still on the fence about making this investment in themselves

well I would say that you care about your carrier and care about yourself you

have to be willing to invest yourself because this is your carrier it is it's

very important if you're really not happy you may not feel happy for your

life so for me I'm glad to working with Linda

cuz I got my dream job got to the result that I'm looking for amazing amazing so

Sasha for those people who are watching right now what type of person would you

recommend would be a good match to work with me in the stand Oh get hard program

what would their traits be what would you say is important that they need to

have well I would say we'll have two hardworking and a willing to learn and

then you will just need to trust Linda she knows what she is talking about and

if you have all of these things you will reach your goals and you will have more

competence amazing awesome so Sasha is there anything else you want to say

before we go well I think I've said everything I just want to say I highly
