But really, if you go back to it, over the last number of years, we had the witch hunt. It was evil, it was corrupt, it was dirty cops, it was leakers and liars. And this should never, ever happen to another President ever. I don't know if other Presidents would've been able to take it. -I also am humbled and very grateful for the support and the prayers I have received from millions of Americans over this past year. -We've done I think more than any President and administration, and really, I say, for the most part, Republican Congressmen, Congresswomen. -Now I ask all Americans, and I hope all Americans, here in Washington and throughout our land -- We'll rededicate ourselves to the work of serving our nation and building our future together. -And this is really not a news conference, it's not a speech, it's not anything. It's just we're sort of -- It's a celebration because we have something that just worked out. I mean, it worked out. We went through Hell unfairly, did nothing wrong -- did nothing wrong. I've done things wrong in my life, I will admit. Not purposefully, but I've done things wrong. But this is what the end result is. -This can be and this must be a time of reconciliation and renewal for America. Thank you very much. We first went through "Russia, Russia, Russia." It was all bull-[bleep]. We then went through the Mueller report. And they should've come back one day later. They didn't. They came back two years later. -In your heart, sir, can you forgive and forget? -I believe any person who asks for forgiveness has to be prepared to give it. -Do you feel vindicated, sir? -We are making progress and doing things for our great people that everybody said couldn't be done. Our country is thriving. Our country is just respected again. [Inaudible]
