Hey guys this is Cathy Cat and today we are gonna actually ask foreigners what their opinions are about Japanese men.

どうも！カティ・キャットです！今日は街ゆく外国人のみなさんに日本の男性について聞いてみます。

What do you think of the Japanese men and boys that are walking around here?

日本の男性ってどう思いますか？

They dress well. They have a good style. They look busy.

服装が良いですね。スタイルもいいし。忙しそうですね。

They are always walking fast.

いつも歩くのが速いです。

That's true.

そうですね。

They all seem quite business like to be honest, which is strange.

正直なところビジネスライクなところが変に感じます。

I didn't expect that.

思いもしなかったです。

The same! Everyone seems to be wearing suits! Everywhere you go.

そうですね！どこ行ってもスーツだらけ！どこでも！

It's really weird. But we haven't been far.

本当に変な感じですけど、まあ分かります。

They dress better. THEY DRESS BETTER.

あと服装が良いですね。マジで。

They are much more gentlemanly.

思った以上に紳士ですね。

They have an almost old world charm about them that I like.

古き良き感じがしますね。

Everybody was in suits most of the time. You don't see a lot of tennis shoes or anything like that.

あと、どこ行ってもスーツですね。テニスシューズはいてる人なんていませんね。

Everybody is more dressed up.

もしくは、逆に着飾っているかですね。

I'd say they are very quiet and mature. They're just very solid.

何というか、物静かで大人びた、ピシッとした感じがします。

They have a good style, I feel.

スタイルがいいですね。

Very good style.

All their clothes are totally different.

男性の服装が自分の国（アメリカ）とはぜんぜん違いますね。

The older men, they all look very young. Their skin is not wrinkly like me.

年配の男性が若く見えます。肌の感じが私みたいにシワっぽい感じではないですね。

All Japanese men seem to shave!

あとひげを生やしている人がいない！

They don't look good with beards and stubble.

多分ひげが似合わないのかもしれないですね。

Because their skin is so nice. They should do L'oreal adverts for older women.

肌がきれいなので、ロレアルかなんかの女性向け広告に使われるべきですね（笑）

They are so delicate and so very peaceful.

日本人男性は繊細で平和的ですね。

What exactly do you mean by peaceful?

「平和的」とは具体的に？

Peaceful means they are quite different with my kind, my country people.

私の国（インド）と比べると全く異なるんです。

They are very quiet in doing some job and doing something.

仕事や何かをしていてもとても静かだし、

They are very quietly doing it.

とにかく行動が静がなことですね。

They are very trendy.

あと、とても流行に敏感です。

They definitely care a lot about how they look and how they present themselves.

外見によく気を遣ってるところに自己主張を感じます。

- And their hair! - The hair is styled?

-あとヘアスタイル！-髪型がきっちりしてます！

That was the first thing...we were at a capsule hotel and we watched the men prepare for work.

私たちはカプセルホテルに泊まっていたんですが、そこで男性たちが仕事に行く準備をしていたんです。

One guy was spending maybe like an hour on his hair.

その中の一人が髪型をセットするのに1時間くらいかかっていたんです。

Everybody here is a size small.

あと背が低いですね。

On the hairstyles, they got some weird hairstyles over here.

たまに変な髪形の人がいますね。

Everybody wears platform shoes. Even guys.

あと男性なのに厚底シューズを履いてる人も。

They are all quiet. Very quiet.

あと静かです。とても。

Sense of style! All of them seem like they dress more stylish.

ファッションセンスがありますね！すごくスタイリッシュな感じがします。

They are very stylish. No lie, they know how to dress.

ファッションがどういうものかを解っていると思います。

They know how to wear their clothes. That's good about them.

着こなしの方法が解っていていいと思います。

They are always classy.

ハイクラスな感じがします。

Most foreigners seem to think that Japanese men are very well dressed.

インタビューした外国人の方々はどうやら日本人男性はとてもファッショナブルな印象があるようですね。

And also some of them are wearing suits and maybe a bit too business like.

また、スーツを着ているビジネスなイメージも強いようです。

And that they are very quiet and peaceful compared to back home.

物静かで穏やかな印象をもたれるようでもあります。
