Number 1: the old town.

No.1　旧市街

Ok. Prague's old town is where all the tours go, but that's because it's gorgeous.

プラハの旧市街は旅行者全員が行くところ、何故かって素晴らしいからだよ。

Spend your first day wandering its cobble stone streets and of course getting some photos for your Instagram.

初日を石畳の道を探索するのに費やそう。もちろん、インスタ用の写真も撮りながらね。

Number 2: the astronomical clock.

No.2　天文時計

It's basically a gigantic ornately decorated cuckoo clock that comes alive on the hour.

基本的には巨大な装飾がされた鳩時計で、1時間に1度時を知らせてくれる。

You can also climb to the top for great views of the old town.

塔の頂上へ登って旧市街を一望することもできる。

Number 3: Dlouhá Street.

No.3　ドロウハー通り

Excuse my pronunciation.

発音の間違いは許して。

Start with Lokál, which as the name suggests, serves only local Czech products.

Lokalから始めよう。その名の通り、チェコ産の食材しか出していない。

The food is good; the food is local, and I'm happy.

ご飯が美味いで、食材は地元のもので、僕は幸せだ。

Or Naše Maso , a top-notch butchery that has beer served from a faucet on the wall...

もしくはNase Maso - 一流の肉屋で、なんと！蛇口からビールが出てくるんだよ。

Beer faucet...Cheers!

Number 4: Pilsner.

No.4　ピルスナー

The Czech Republic is the birthplace of the Pilsner, the world's most popular beer style made famous by Pilsner Urquell.

チェコはピルスナー発祥の地、ピルスナーウルケルによって世界的人気のビールのスタイルが確立された。

But the best beer comes in small batches so check out microbreweries like Pivovar Bašta where the beer is literally cheaper than water.

でも最高のビールの生産量は少ないもので、だからPivovar Basta のようにこじんまりとした醸造所も要チェックだよ。

Number 5: craft beer.

No.5　クラフトビール

Czechs love their Pilsners, but they're not stuck in the past.

ピルスナーを愛するチェコ人だけど、伝統に固執するだけではない。

Try something newer at craft beer pubs like Zlý časy.

クラフトビールパプ　"Zly Casy”で新しいものに挑戦してみよう。

Beers are more expensive than Pilsner, but still pretty damn cheap.

ピルスナーよりは高値だけど、それでも馬鹿みたいに安いのに変わりはない。

Number 6: Prague Castle.

No.6　プラハ城

Cross the river on the Charles Bridge up to the Prague Castle, it's got great views of the city.

カレル橋を渡って、プラハ城へ上っていくと、街の素晴らしい景色が見える。

And it used to be the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia.

ここはかつてボヘミア王国の城だった。

Number 7: be Bohemian.

No.7　ボヘミアンになろう

The Kingdom of Bohemia gave us the word "bohemian" because back in the day, they thought gypsies came from here.

”ボヘミアン”という言葉は ボヘミア王国から来ている。かつてジプシーたちはこの国から流れてきたと考えられていたからだ。

Soak up the boho life at places like Café Sladkovský, a cafe / restaurant / pub.

ボヘミアンな生活にどっぷり浸かってみよう。Cafe Sladkovskyのようなカフェでありレストラン、パプでもある場所。

That's perfect for writing your next novel, reading some Kafka, or just drinking more beer.

小説の次回作を書くのにも最適だし、カフカを読むにも、何杯目かのビールを飲むにも最高。

Number 8: Krymská Street.

No.8　クリムスカー通り

Next to Café Sladkovský is Krymská Street, home to trendy pubs, restaurants and shops.

Cafe Sladkovskyの隣がクリムスカー通り。流行のパブやレストラン、ショップの本拠地だ。

It's a great little area to explore and has some really beautiful architecture.

コンパクトで探検するには丁度良いし場所。美しい建築を目にすることもできる。

Plus, it's just really fun to say Krymská...

ついでにただクリムスカ―って口にするだけで楽しいよね。

Say it! Say it! Come on! Krymská.

Number 9: the Lennon Wall.

No.9　ジョン・レノンの壁。

The original counter-culture spot is the Lennon Wall, named after John, not Vladimir, because it became a canvas for anti-communist protests during the Cold War.

反体制文化を象徴する場所と言えばレーニンじゃないよ、レノンの壁だ。この壁は冷戦中に反共産主義運動を表現するためのキャンバスとなった。

Even today, you're free to draw whatever you want.

今でも好きなように描いていいんだ。

Just don't draw a dick.

ただチ〇コは描くなよ。

Number 10: David Černý.

No.10　デイビット・チェルニー

Near the Lennon Wall is the artwork of David Černý, the subversive artist who protested communism with his artwork.

ジョン・レノンの壁の近くにはデイビット・チェルニーの作品がある。芸術作品を通して共産主義に対抗した破壊的な芸術家だ。

To get off the beaten path, head over to the meat factory, his exhibition area, where he usually has something pretty funky going on.

彼の知られざる足跡を見つける為、彼の展示会場 - ミートファクトリーに向かってみよう。大抵の場合は彼によるかなりファンキーな進行形の作品を見ることができるよ。

But in all honesty, I still don't understand the babies...

でも正直に言うと、あの赤ん坊は理解できないんだよね…
