This school is which several of the Thai cave boys attend.

この学校は洞窟から救出された男子生が通っている学校です

When I saw the video, the British divers did speak English.

ビデオを見た時、イギリスのダイバーは英語で話しかけていました

And there was an answer from the kids.

子供達はそれに答えていました

I thought this is great, this is extraordinary.

私は「よかった、驚くべきことだ」とおもいました

I was proud.

とても誇りに思いました

I was really proud of these kids that they could actually answer something in English.

実際に英語でしっかり返答できた子供をとても誇りに思います

So that's why I came up with the idea of doing that sign.

それで、ある張り紙をはるアイディアを思いつきました

He put it up to the school to encourage students to learn English.

彼はその張り紙を学校にはり、英語を学ぶよう生徒に働きかけています

It got attention online.

ネットで注目されました

The situation with the cave at Tham Luang created an opportunity for the kids to realize that

タムルアン洞窟での事態は、子供達に英語の必要性を再確認する機会となりました

"God! it is great if you can say a few words in English, you know?"

Basically you never know when you will need English.

All these kids, they have to learn about English at one point,

If they want to improve their career in the future.

It's an awareness, it's to open their mind that there's something else in the world than Thailand.
