今日は、「must」 と 「have to」 の違い紹介します。

Both must and have to talk about obligations.

共通点はどちらも「義務」を表しています。

However!

Now, we use have to when we talk about obligations others decide for us.

「have to」はその義務が他人に定められる場合に使います。

It's a law or a rule, so it cannot be changed.

原則あるいはルールで、変更することが出来ないものです。

For example, at BBC, we have to show our passes to enter the building.

例えば：BBC で、会社に入るために私達は通行証を見せなければなりません。

This is a rule decided by the BBC.

このルールは BBC によって決めらています。

On the other hand, we use must when we talk about obligations we decide for ourselves or others.

一方、「must」を使うのは、ある義務が 他人または自身のために私たちが定める時です。

For example, my boss might say to me "You must be more organized."

例えば、ボスは私にこう言います：「君はもっとマメにやるべきだ。」

Or, I might say to myself "I must exercise more often."

或いは自分に対して：「もっと運動しなくちゃ。」 と。
