I got in yesterday afternoon, and I leave tonight at, like, nine o'clock. However, that may change. I may have a couple extra things to do, so I might end up changing my flight, which means more New York and more B-roll and more fun times. But as far as it stands right now, flew in yesterday, leaving tonight. I've got five batteries. I'm gonna leave it at home, but I brought it anyway because that's the responsible thing to do because you guys know what would happen. I would leave it at home, and then I would end up staying an extra day and be like, "Awesome, I have no camera charger "because that was smart." So I'm headed over to B&H Photo right now. Super excited because I've never been there before, and I've always wanted to go, and every time I try to go, they end up being closed, so today's the day. (cheers) Super excited. I actually bought my first lens from B&H. My first L lense, like way back in 2003? It was a long time ago. So, anyways, super pumped to go over there. I heard from a friend that they have this crazy system for delivering boxes to different places in the store from the back to the front, and there's pulleys and tracks and all kinds of just awesomeness, so I'm gonna go check that out because if that's the case, I wanna show you guys. Get a little behind the scenes look and kind of drop the veil on the Hogwarts that is B&H Photo for anybody that blogs or cinematographers, photographers. But I need coffee! I need to eat, I need to start shooting. I need to film some epic New York B-roll. By the way, I didn't even bring any clothes, so if I end up staying another day, I gotta go buy pants and underwear and everything basically because I was like, "Ah, I'm only gone a day. "(blows raspberry) I'll put a T-shirt in my camera bag." Peace! (upbeat funky music) By the way, "Borrow a blender or a board game." That's the most random thing I've ever seen on a bulletin board. (upbeat funky music) Alright, so I posted on Twitter a couple days ago that I was coming to New York to meet up with one of my favorite Youtubers ever and people ever. You guys all tweeted who you thought it was. Shonduras! - It's me! Let's go! Best ever-- (Peter cheers) In New York City starts now. - They're trying to get me to have subway coffee, and I won't do it. - No, $1 coffee! - No! - [Shonduras] A dollar coffee and cigar. Sold! - [Peter] Dude, it's nice in here. - It's like a skate park. Look at this. (Peter chuckles) (grunting) - [Camera Man] I think it's better without the Tech Deck, to be honest. (both laughing) - And the sound effects? - [Camera Man] Yeah. - Let's get Pete a coffee. - [Camera Man] Yes. - How about that? - [Barista] Thank you. No lid? - Thank you. That looks delicious. Oh my gosh. This looks delicious. It's not cereal, but it'll do. (sighs refreshingly) - Okay, now I can officially start my day and be creative. (sighs refreshingly) - Me too. (Peter chuckling) - This is a big camera shop. It's like a whole block. Wow! We're here. We're at the threshold. We are at the door about to go in. Super excited - You've never been this place? - I've never been here. - It's your first time. - For the first time. - This place is amazing, Pete. You'll love it. - I know. Aw, look at it, it's so good. Okay. I'mma go in. [Peter] Ah I made it. - Gentlemen, B&H, welcome. - [Peter] Oh, thanks, dude. - Yeah. Can I show you anything? - [Peter] No, just wanna look around and whatever. - Alright, have a look! Let me know if you guys need anything. - [Peter] Thanks. - Awesome, right? Good customer service here, right? - [Peter] So good. - Look at the tracks and stuff. - [Peter] So friendly. - [Shonduras] This place is amazing. - We've already been asked for help a few times. It's great. Finally here. - Alright, so just for you guys, we're doing an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the warehouse of B&H. Nobody gets to go down there. They had to pull some strings to even let us down, but you guys gotta see this place. It's absolutely incredible, so we're gonna head down to the warehouse now and show you guys what that looks like and how the whole operation works here at B&H, which is just-- (garbled noises) It's crazy. - So you would think to go down, you'd have to go downstairs, right? - Ooh, we're going up to go downstairs. That's fun. - [Peter] Oh-ho, we got buzzed in. Hoo-hoo-hoo. (garbled noises) Super pumped. [Peter] Ooh, double buzzed. Look at that. The labyrinth continues. - [Shonduras] It really does. - This is like the back of a casino. I feel like Danny Ocean. (employee laughing) [Peter] Mr. B&H-- (Shonduras shouts) - We're in! - [Peter] We're in. - [Shonduras] This is awesome. - Where are we right now? - [Shonduras] I think we're underground right now. - I think we are. Yo, you know what'd be amazing is playing paint ball in here. - [Shonduras] That's true. (laughs) - Just get us a bunch of paint ball guns and have at it for like 30 minutes. Capture the flag. (laughs excitedly) (cool upbeat music) So we're gonna tape a GoPro to the front of this basket, and then I'm gonna take the Joby off this 1DX, and I'm gonna stick it in the basket, and we're gonna send it into the abyss, and it's gonna go through space and time and end up somewhere upstairs, and that's how all the packages are shipped here in B&H. It's crazy, it's magic. It's essentially, we're in Hogwarts right now. - What he said. - This is gonna be great. So when you order something, it's found in this labyrinth, it's put in this basket, and (shooting noise) sent to oblivion, so check it out. Is it this one? I got it right here. Here it is, my favorite lens ever. Let do it. Let's put it in the basket. Woosh. (percussion) (grunting) - Did it work? It worked. - [Camera Man] It's still going. - I can tell it worked just by looking at the lens. I don't know how, but I can tell it worked. - Guys, I found something amazing that you need to see. Look at this. K, I'm behind the counter. I spotted this from the escalator. It's a beautiful thing. (high pitched humming) Oh, hell yes. (dramatic orchestral music) Here's a little fun fact for you guys: Canon was not actually the original name of this company and these cameras. They were actually called "Kwanon," K-W. It was like in the late 1930's, so little fun fact. Take that home, enjoy it. Well, there you have it. That was amazing. Super incredible. Traffic accident, classic New York. - Snagged some candy for the road. - Delicious candy. - We're set. - That was a good video, man. I'm pumped on that. - [Shonduras] Yeah. - I think it's gonna be dope. - I shot a behind-the-scenes of the behind-the-scenes of the behind-the-scenes. - It was a camera Inception in there. It was madness-- - It was amazing. - But it's time for food, so let's go. - [Peter] Ooh, what are you getting, Holiday? - Pad See Ew, fried rice, and I don't know what that is, but it looks good. - Pad See Ew, fried rice, and cashew chicken the one that you have right there. - [Peter] I'll have what he's having. - We don't even have an appointment here. We just came for lunch. - [Peter] That is like a straight-up forest. - I love salad. - [Peter] I can tell. Dude. I want my own water. You guys, I should have my own PM water. It's a great idea. So we are in Gary V.'s office. - [Shonduras] The office. - The office. [Peter] Look at this. What? Oh my goodness. - Here, I'll just pretend I'm Gary V. - [Peter] What's up dude? - Hustle, hustle. There, you got the shot. - Look at all this, there's a lot of stuff in here, man. This is like a little gift shop. Anyway, that's pretty cool. I'm gonna sit in his chair. (grunts) It's done. It's happened. Been there, good to go. - You're serious, like for reals. - [Dark-Haired Man] Yeah you can have it. - [Shonduras] Whose is it? - 100%. Someone sent it. I don't know. - What the heck (mumbling). This just got good. You're staying in New York now. You're staying, like, at least two or three more days. Pete's staying in New York. He was supposed to-- We're changing flights. He's staying in New York. - What do you think? Skate video number two? - [Shonduras] Skate video number two. - Ooh, it might happen. - You're staying. - [Peter] Dude. - Time has come, Pete. I have to leave. - [Peter] Dude. - [Holiday] It's a sad day. - Holiday has to go. I only got to spend, like, 15 hours with him, and I was sleeping for a lot of those. - It was amazing, man. - It was great, though. - Love this guy. He is so good. Keep watching his stuff. - You will be seeing more of Holiday most definitely, but everybody say goodbye. - You're the best, man. [Peter] Bye, Holiday. - Can I give them a high five? - [Peter] You can give them a high five. Give them-- boom. There you go. - See ya, guys. - [Peter] See you, buddy. Okay, super pro-tip: You're filming in a car, you're vlogging, whatever. Get as close to the window as you can. The best natural light. You always want to be close to that natural light source. [Peter] You got it? - Got it. - So we stopped at Beam Headquarters because Shon was hungry and had a hankering for cereal, so we're gonna eat some cereal here and then use the internet because we wanna upload vlogs and work, but they have quite the kitchen with lots of options, so cereal time. - [Shonduras] Oh, you're going Oreo? - Going Oreos. - Dang, on my video I went Chips Ahoy cookies. I should have gotten Oreo. - How many cookies did you put in? - [Shonduras] I just crunched them all. - All of them? - [Shonduras] If you're gonna go for it, you gotta go for it. - Alright, alright, here we go. So here's two. - [Shonduras] Look at that. - [Peter] Oreo sprinkle. I didn't really think that through. - [Shonduras] No, it doesn't matter. Look how delicious. Oh my gosh. - This is my vlogging hands. - Why do we not start-- Me and Pete are starting a cereal-coffee shop where you can get cereal and coffee, and all the cereal will have crunched up cookies, and all the coffee probably won't 'cause-- - [Peter] Melted Oreos. - [Shonduras] Melted Oreos? - Melted Oreo coffee? - Sold. (upbeat funky music) (grunts) - Cereal at Beam, that's like a New York City tradition. If you come to New York, eat cereal at Beam. - I'm quite a fan of that tradition. (laughing) - [Man With Hat] How does this work? Oh my god, wait, wait wait, wait. This is a 1DX Mark II? Are you shooting in 4K? I just noticed what you're holding now. This is the dream camera. This is literally the dream setup. The road mic up there. - [Shonduras] The dream setup if you have huge muscles. - Are you shooting in 4K? - Okay guys, so the thing is, I get asked a lot, like I see all kinds of comments of people saying like, "That's like Casey "because you ride a Boosted board," and to be honest, just because I ride a skateboard I don't think that makes me like the guy. I don't know, does it bother you that I ride a Boosted board? - No, but can you plug that into the charger when you're done with it? - [Peter] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. (upbeat music)
