  • Former Blizzard execs found a new AAA game company, PS4 to support PS3 wireless headsets,

  • both next-gen consoles will actively record gameplay while you're playing, Borderlands

  • 2 will receive tons of DLC this fall, Curse moves into the console gaming space, and more!

  • Hey guys, Jess here with the Curse Weekly Roundup.

  • First up, former executives from Blizzard, Sony Online, and Relic Entertainment have

  • just announced the formation of a new studio in San Diego called Molten Games. THeir first

  • title was made possible by a multi-million dollar investment from NCSoft, but we know

  • nothing about it other than the fact that it's a AAA online title - more details will

  • come at a later date.

  • Next, Sony announced late last week that the PlayStation 4 will support PlayStation 3 wireless

  • headsets. Now, they had already told us that the consoles would be shipping with mono earbuds,

  • right after Microsoft said the Xbox One will not come with a headset - but now the PS4's

  • looking even better. Sony also confirmed the list of launch titles for the PS4: Assassin's

  • Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, DC Universe Online, DriveClub,

  • FIFA 14, Just Dance 2014, Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Madden

  • NFL 25, NBA 2K14, NBA Live 14, Skylanders: Swap Force, Warframe and Watch Dogs.

  • Moving on, speaking of next-gen consoles, both the Xbox One and the PS4 will apparently

  • automatically record the last several minutes of gameplay as you're playing. The Xbox One

  • will capture five minutes at a time, and the PS4 captures 15 minutes - this lets you easily

  • post awesome headshots, once-in-a-lifetime kills, and other things that you can't believe

  • just happened that your friends won't believe unless they saw it - well, now they can!

  • Next up, Gearbox confirmed at their PAX Australia panel that Borderlands 2 will be getting a

  • level cap upgrade (to 72), new raid bosses, and new missions in a DLC pack called The

  • Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak CHallenge. It'll be priced at 4.99 and

  • Moving right along, a verdict has been reached in the lawsuit between EA and Robin Antonick,

  • the original programmer of Madden. Now, if you didn't hear about this, Antonick developed

  • the first Madden title in 1988. THen in 2011 he sued EA for millions of dollars of unpaid

  • royalty, claiming that the contract he signed in 1986 stipulated that he should be paid

  • royalties for not only games he developed, but any derivative works - aka several Madden

  • NFL Football games published between 1990 and 1996, which the courts ruled were "virtually

  • identical" to Antonick's original game, and awarded him $11 million dollars in damages.

  • And finally - Curse is moving into the console gaming space. That's right, for several years

  • we were part of the glorious pc master race, all about WoW, League, and Minecraft - but

  • we've recently acquired FutHead.com, the top FIFA fansite, and scored a slick write-up
