These baby blocks have been with us for all the kids.

- [Elise] That's what her favorite thing to do.

- This morning we are headed to Sea Life Aquarium.

We've never been there before.

Elise's hair turned out so cute.

I love having Amber here doing the girl's hair.

- Is this real?

- [Kendra] Yeah those are real fish.

- Is the glass real?

- [Kendra] The glass is in between

so the water doesn't get on us.

Cool goggles.

I think those goggles might be a little too big.

Did you feel the starfish? - They're spiky.

(upbeat music)

- [Kendra] Whoa, I didn't even notice

the sting rays down here.

Caleb look at them, those are huge.

- How do they sting?

- [Kendra] I don't know how they sting,

we'll have to learn more about it.

So his seems shorter, theirs seems longer.

Look at this fish, what is it?

What kind of an animal is that?

- [Girl] Look at that one.

(eerie music)

- [Kendra] Look at this eel, oh my goodness.

Caleb what's this?

- That's a eel.

- [Kendra] It is an eel.

Eels are just creepy.

Unfortunately all of this only validates

my fear of swimming in lakes.

It looks like a snake kind of.

- [Girl] It's called a Garden eel.

- [Kendra] Hi Elise.

Laura was scared to try so Amber went with her.

Now you wanna stay in huh?

That's weird, I do not understand how that works.

- [Kendra] He does look like he's smiling.

- [Kendra] Have you ever eaten a lobster?

So on the tablet the kids are each having a chance

to design their own fish and then it projects

those fish that they just designed onto

this big screen over here and they get to go find it.

It's pretty cool.

There's Laura's starfish she made.

We're looking for Isaac's purple crab.

- That's my crab.

(upbeat music)

- [Kendra] I love those little lips.

You just need it to swim.

Now you have to find it out here.

Oh did you find it Leese?

- It's this one.

- [Kendra] It's just swimming sideways

so it was hard to see.

Oh look at the red lips.

I love the red lips on it.

- Right there.

- [Kendra] Did you make a blue jellyfish?

The aquarium was awesome.

It ends in this beautiful gift shop

where I do not want my children to touch

or beg for anything so we're just gonna go.

Well made it home and Jenae slept instead of cried.

But other children were whining

and compensated for the silence.

It's hard.

(giggles)

Big sister is cracking Jenae up.

It almost sounds like a laugh, I mean a cry,

but she's definitely happy.

Here's the house that Caleb and Elise built.

Apparently it's nighttime here.

- That's a dance room for dolls.

- [Kendra] A dance room for dolls.

- Yeah so that's the playroom.

- We have -

- [Caleb] Toilets.

- Toilets but you normally-

- [Caleb] That's only for men.

I've got an idea.

- Whenever there's visitors over I sleep there.

(laughter)

- [Kendra] I recognize that toilet.

Alright so for our summer camp project this afternoon,

Leesy can you tell them what we're making?

- A biome box.

- [Kendra] A biome box of what?

- The ocean.

- [Kendra] Which one?

- The Pacific Ocean.

- [Kendra] Caleb can you tell them

why we're using such a big box?

- Because the Pacific Ocean is the biggest and deepest.

- [Kendra] Yep and this is Caleb's idea

to use this giant box.

(jazzy music)

Isaac, what are you making?

- Jellyfish.

- [Kendra] Jellyfish.

Caleb just came up with the genius idea

to turn the box over to pain the ceiling.

You're a very smart kiddo.

Isaac's working on some coral.

Leese, that dolphin looks awesome.

Whoa, what are you painting Caleb?

- A whale.

- So for dinner tonight I'm making one of Jeremy's favorites

which is this dish that chicken and bacon

and cheese and mushrooms and some mustard sauce.

It's really good.

Anyway we're gonna have it with potatoes

and whatever other sides I get a chance to throw together.

I'm excited to be making something that he enjoys

'cause he's been working so hard lately.

I just am glad that he'll have a dinner he likes,

even though he likes everything.

Jeremy thinks that anything with bacon is better.

Hey Laura, do you hear that?

- Yeah.

- [Kendra] What does it sound like?

- What's that noise?

- [Kendra] What's the noise, that's the sound of bacon.

It's bacon cooking.

Did you trace this Elise?

- [Elise] Nope.

- [Kendra] You did not trace this, you drew this?

- [Elise] Yes, same with this.

- [Kendra] That is so cute.

Can't wait to see them in there.

Oh my goodness, Isaac what are those?

- Garden eels.

- [Kendra] That is so smart.

So I just went to take a drink out of my cup

and look what's on it.

I know where did it come from?

- [Caleb] It just moved.

- [Kendra] I'm kind of creeped out by it.

- [Caleb] Me too, I've never seen something like that.

- [Kendra] What is it?

Well I think I'm gonna get a new glass of water

for no reason.

(guitar music)

So dinner's done, but Jeremy's not quite done with work yet.

So we're kind of stalling, but I don't want to stall

too long that the food is cold.

I decided to add some rolls, so we're baking up some rolls.

Dinner, dinner, chicken dinner.

Well Jeremy is not ready yet, but we are dying.

We are going to dig in and he will join us shortly.

I've got his plate all made, he'll be up any minute.

Okay, who wants to say a prayer?

The man is home.

- [Caleb] The man is here.

- This is the same shirt I wore yesterday

'cause I got up and started working

and that's the last thing I remember.

(laughter)

This is my favorite freezer meal.

- [Kendra] I know, that's why we're having it,

'cause we love you.

- I'm wearing Jeremy's sunglasses,

if he sees that he's gonna be so mad.

Alright Amber and I are out tonight, little girl's night.

We are shopping.

Alright apparently Amber's a good influence on me

'cause I'm being decisive.

We've only been in the store for like five minutes maybe

and I already choose, I'm buying these pants

and we're going.

And we looked at some shoes,

but we're gonna put a hold on those.

- [Amber] We may come back.

- [Kendra] We may.

I have not been in a Bath and Body Works for years,

so we're gonna go in and we're gonna smell all the smells.

'Cause that's kind of fun to do every once in awhile.

(piano music)

I get so confused in this store

because everything smells good.

How am I supposed to make decisions?

- Sensational Amber.

- [Kendra] She found the clearance.

Oh it's called Sensational Amber,

you pretty much have to get that.

We're ending our night at Lilo's again

and I'm getting a soda and now it's cookie day,

so now I have to get a cookie.

- I'm gonna get coconut with

coconut shaved ice with coconut ice cream.

- Yum.

The breeze feels nice, the sun is setting.

It's a good ending to a day, it was a day.

We got really lucky, we came right before the line

got super big, oh my goodness.

So this one's called the Tropical Shirley,

I already drank some.

This is a root beer that has coconut cream in it.

Today has actually been a really long day.

The kids, we had some great moments with them,

but we also really struggled.

So I was really grateful that Amber and I

got to escape for a little while tonight

and just enjoy some adult time.

Jeremy's putting the kids to bed

so hopefully he's surviving.
