I'm heading into town by the station to try to find a place with some food and wi-fi

So I can get some work done

For some reason the wi-fi was down at the lodge here

French toast, orange juice,

and some work over here

Finished some work for a deadline this afternoon

Now I'm going to jump on the local train which will take me to the shinkansen

which will take me back to Tokyo station

I'd say Nikko is an awesome, quick break from Tokyo

It only takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to get here

If you are traveling or visiting Tokyo

And you want to have the Kyoto sort of atmosphere

This is a much quicker option

I had to sit out two episodes of the vlog because I was just so tired

with editing and filming everyday.

Keep in mind that I'm doing the editing of the videos

So for me it's often almost an entire day of filming

and then almost an entire night of editing

And I also have other things going on

so it's just a bit overwhelming

after 72 days

So we might have to change things up a bit from time to time to give ourselves some more breathing space

Especially doing the like double vlog every day

with Tokyo and Seoul

it got to me

It got me super tired

I'm not here to complain though

Today I'll meet two YouTubers based in Korea

and hopefully we'll have a lot of fun

This guest house I'm staying in has an option of food delivery from nearby restaurants

So I've been getting my food this way

So I got spicy chicken stew which is amazing

Lots of sides

And of course

Like a flight magazine

I got myself a bento for the way back because it's socially acceptable to eat on shinkansen trains

which is rare

On most other trains, you're not supposed to eat

The JR company is the company that operates the shinkansen trains

And they offer a few different passes

For tourists there are a lot of options

There's like the one-week, two-week, one-month

Once you have a visa in Japan

your choices are a bit more limited

This is one of the few passes I've seen that allows you to get on the shinkansen while being a visa-holder in Japan

This pass covers the area from all the way up to just past Nikko

It's only about 8,700 (correction, 8,300)JPY

So it's much cheaper than paying for the one-week or two-week JR passes

A place to put baggage

and that's how you get in and out of the shinkansen

And then the next carriage starts

And the bathroom

Sink, toilet

Here you have soap, water and a blow dryer

I just love traveling by shinkansen

They're fast, comfortable, reliable, on time, clean

and you don't have to go through security

It's the best way to travel

If I could travel everywhere by shinkansen, I'd be a very happy person

This is such a huge change from where I was just two hours ago

Living in Shibuya will really make you appreciate the countryside

because the shopping is ridiculous

So if you're coming to Korea, bring an extra suitcase so you can buy all the make-up and all the clothes

because it's really cheap and you will not be able to control yourself

So one thing you're definitely going to notice is snail products

starfish products are a new one

and I think that's it

There's also goat milk

And horse
