So it's a new day today, where am i heading today?
Pick up som brand new Chuck Taylors! Alright so it's time to go to the register,
just picked up two brand new of the fall colors from Converse, lets go!
Got two brand new ones right here, so i'm going to head back home right now.
Hey everyone and welcome back, I'm Mr Stoltz. I'm back at the apartment and I got two brand
new bags right here from the Converse store in Santa Monica. I picked up both of the new
color ways of the new fall 2015 line-up. So once again i'm looking at one of mine absolute
all time favorite shoes of all time. I just love the all star and I really can't wait
to take a look at both of these ones, so lets go.
Let's start with the first bag, it's a nice little clean white bag with two different
designs on both sides and lets take it out. I don't really remember what color this one
is, so this one is the grey color. I got it in a size 10.5, the color is Thunder/White
and it retails for $75. Lets take out the other one, so here we got it the new.
My first impression on both of these sneakers is that they have a really clean and subtle
color, it almost like a de-saturated look that goes really well now for fall and winter.
A while ago I did a in-depth look at the first colors from the Chuck Taylor All Star 2 and
if you want to see that review, click right here.
This shoe features an entire upper of tencil canvas for a stronger and more durable sneaker.
Because the entire upper is made out of tencil canvas it's a lot thicker and feel more like
a premium sneaker. The new All Star 2 has an all white midsole
and it goes all the way around it with the exception of the black line in the middle
that used to be there on the former model.
So if we take a look on the upper part of the sneaker, there is perforated edges around the top part.
Just like the introduction of the first colors of the All Star 2, these ones also comes with
two separate laces.I will show you later in the on-feet section what both of the laces
looks like.
The patch in the inner side of the sneaker is embroided onto the canvas and it creates a really clean and simple look and It blends
really well with the rest of the sneaker.
On the eyelets it says Converse All Star and
it's a really nice and subtle look.
The entire outer parts of the sneaker is upgraded
with premium materials and there's even a few features on the inside that creates the
shoe. Finally on the All Star 2, they upgraded the
comfort level with the introduction with the sock-liner.
For many many years I walked around with the old version that did not have the Lunarlon
sock-liner and I was always having a little bit of pain in my knees but with this one
it's all gone. If we take a look inside of the shoe, there's
a patted nonslip tongue, the tongue won't move side to side because of the elastic bands
that keep the tongue centered at all time.
This is a really nice feature because on the old version the tongue just moved left to
right however it wanted to but on this one it keeps it centered at all time.
There's a micro suede lining on the inside of the shoe and it feels really great around
your foot. There's a clean and nice logo on the backside
of the tongue and it says Chuck Taylor 2. If we take a look underneath the shoe it looks
exactly the same as the previous version. Converse has redesigned the entire shoe but
it still looks like the old one and that's one thing I like about it because they are
keeping the retro look but still upgrading everything around it in creating a better
experience for everyone.
Let's take a close up look at both of these sneakers.
So let's see what these ones look like on-feet.
So what do you guys think about these new fall colors? Will you buy one? I will keep
both of them, I love them, they will fit my wardrobe perfectly. This burgundy color way
is going to look great with regular jeans or something similar and the grey one is just
a clean and simple color. I like what Converse did on these ones, they
de-saturated the colors on the burgundy and grey for fall in comparison to the red, blue
and the other ones that's more vivid for summer so big kudos to Converse.
Which one is your favorite? The burgundy or the grey color?
This one will probably work with more in your wardrobe but I think this one sticks a little
bit more but leave a comment down below and let's talk about it.
