  • - Hi everybody!

  • My name is Tyler Oakley,

  • and today I am doing a Q and Slay,

  • but it's a little different than how I usually do it.

  • Now, I've only done this way one time before,

  • and it was a hit,

  • so I was like OK, I need to bring it back.

  • And that is I am partnering with Skype

  • to show and include your lovely faces

  • in today's Q and Slay.

  • So, without further ado, let's get into it.

  • It is time for another Q and Slay.

  • Let's do it.

  • - Hey Tyler, it's Suchi.

  • I was at your Chicago show,

  • so I was wondering what your favorite part

  • about touring was so far.

  • - Firstly, thank you so much for coming

  • to the Chicago stop.

  • My favorite part of tour is meeting you guys.

  • And it's not just people that have VIP tickets.

  • There's a lot of opportunities to come up on stage

  • or meet me after the show

  • that I give out during the show.

  • So, anybody in any seat, even if you don't have a VIP pass,

  • can have an opportunity to come on up and hug me,

  • which is my favorite thing in the world.

  • So, yeah, meeting the people that make my dreams come true,

  • that's a cool thing.

  • - What I wanted to ask you

  • is do you have any advice for people

  • who do not have a lot of money or influence

  • on how they could still make a difference

  • and change something in this world?

  • - Hey Melli!

  • OK, so this is a great question.

  • When I was doing my Trevor Project fundraiser this year

  • and last year, a lot of people were like,

  • "Oh, I don't have money,"

  • or, "I don't have a lot of followers,

  • "how can I get involved in my own way?"

  • And the biggest thing for me is maybe you can even go

  • and volunteer your time.

  • For me, I actually had an internship

  • with the Trevor Project a few years ago

  • and it wasn't a financial thing,

  • and it wasn't like I was using my influence online to help.

  • I was going into the office and helping sort things,

  • or helping with administrative things,

  • or helping organize things.

  • And just doing those things is

  • going to have a huge lasting effect.

  • And that's something anybody can do.

  • - Hey Tyler.

  • Would you rather never eat a pickle again

  • or delete all your social media?

  • - Oh my God!

  • Why would you make me choose?

  • OK, OK, let me think.

  • The internet is a beautiful thing

  • that brings the two of us together

  • in a positive place.

  • A pickle doesn't do that.

  • I gotta choose the internet.

  • I'm sorry, pickles, you're dead to me.

  • - My question is how do you deal with jerks?

  • I hope you answer the question.

  • Love you, bye!

  • - Hey, Stefano.

  • That is a great question.

  • I feel like there are gonna be jerks in your life.

  • Whether you are ten, 30, 50, 90,

  • there's always gonna be somebody who's like

  • a rotten apple, and rude, and jerky,

  • and just not a happy person to be around.

  • And so I feel like if they are giving you negativity,

  • let it pass right through you.

  • Don't let it affect you.

  • And in return, just give them love

  • because maybe they were treated wrong,

  • maybe somebody did them wrong,

  • and you can be the one to turn that around.

  • And if you give them positivity, if you give them love,

  • maybe you're gonna just change how they think

  • and how they approach the world

  • because you're finally giving them something

  • that they really do need deep down inside.

  • And if you witness somebody else getting

  • teased or picked on or somebody's a jerk to somebody else,

  • step in, give love to the person who is

  • being treated negatively.

  • I'm like, maybe they need support,

  • and you can be the one to give it.

  • - Hey Tyler, would you rather be toothless at 50

  • or bald at 50?

  • - Toothless or bald?

  • I feel like if I were bald,

  • would I be able to dye my scalp?

  • (laughing) Is that a thing people can do?

  • 'Cause like what if I wanna do a pastel again?

  • I guess I could get a wig.

  • Lord knows I love a wig,

  • but yeah, I need my hair, I like my hair.

  • - I was just wondering if you and Korey

  • are gonna do the chicken nugget challenge again

  • because the last two years it was so funny.

  • And it's supposed to be annual,

  • but you didn't post the challenge on Tuesday,

  • so I was wondering when you're gonna do it.

  • OK, love you, bye.

  • - OK, so this is the third year

  • that we would be doing it,

  • and I'm a little nervous 'cause it really ruins

  • a day or two for you.

  • I'm like pukey and gross.

  • And I guess it's kind of up to Korey, so Korey?

  • - I'll do the chicken nugget challenge with you.

  • - OK.

  • - Hey Tyler, any advice for people

  • trying to accept themselves?

  • Bye.

  • - You know, it's a lifelong process, you know.

  • I think we are told from a lot of angles

  • in like the media or in advertisements,

  • or you know, anywhere,

  • that there are things about you you have to fix,

  • or things about you you have to change,

  • and I think it's so important to stay unique

  • and stay different, and embrace your weirdness

  • because that makes you you.

  • And that makes you one of a kind.

  • I wouldn't be me without being...

  • I'm a little weird sometimes.

  • Let it be.

  • - I was wondering,

  • how excited are you that were nominated

  • for the Webby Awards,

  • and for the people who don't know,

  • how can they vote?

  • Thank you so much.

  • - Hannah, oh my God, great question

  • and a wonderful opportunity for me to promo.

  • Yes, I am super excited to be nominated for a Webby.

  • I'm a little nervous because it's like one of those things

  • where it would be so cool to win.

  • If you wanna vote, the link is below.

  • You can only vote once per login,

  • so if you want to help,

  • I would love it for ever.

  • That is all I have for you guys today.

  • I love doing these Skype Q and A's.

  • If you like them also,

  • be sure to give this video a thumbs up,

  • and maybe I'll do another one.

  • If this gets enough thumbs up

  • then maybe I'll do a future series.

  • Maybe I'll make this a thing.

  • Skype, are you down?

  • I'm down.

  • If you wanna see my latest video, click right there.

  • click right there.

  • But that is all I have for you guys today.

  • I love you.

  • and I'm about to hit four million followers on Twitter,

  • and we're about to hit seven million followers on here.

  • So, thank you for enjoying me all over the internet.

  • I adore you.

  • This was a fun day.

  • Did you like this video?

  • If you did, let me know.

  • OK, I love you.

  • I'll talk to you soon.

  • Good luck with your life.

  • That's all.

  • Later.

  • Ow, you're scurding me.

  • Ouch. - [Korey] Bye.

  • - Ow.

  • - [Korey] Oh God, did you bruise?

  • - I bruise like a peach.

  • - [Korey] Get outta here.

- Hi everybody!
