  • This week's Word of the Week is 'job'. Job begins with the JJ consonant sound, where

  • the tip of the tongue is here, touching the roof of the mouth, jj, jj, and your lips do

  • this funny thing, jj, jj. The vowel is the AH as in FATHER vowel. You do need to drop

  • your jaw for that. Jo-, jo-. And finally, the B consonant sound, where the lips will

  • come together and then part lightly for a release. Job, job.
