  • Oh yeah 5:30 a.m. 5 45 AM.

  • It's really humid today.

  • Hopefully in Al Maury, it's not like this walking in the station and couldn't find a taxi.

  • So now we're gonna have to take a little bit of a longer way.

  • Made it to our quarry.

  • Yeah.

  • And it's not that much cooler here.

  • I think this is like calamari.

  • I think Al Maury has a lot of like goods that are only in out, you can only get no mortgage.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah, no, mm we're in in a karate right now.

  • This is the tambo art and tambo art does the rice field art.

  • So people grow rice to create a picture.

  • So you can't see it now, you have to go to the top of this building and you can look out from there.

  • I used to walk across or past the tambo art and then down the street and then turn the corner and I would work at the school down the street.

  • So it's pretty like nostalgic.

  • It's very interesting.

  • I don't know how they do it.

  • Mhm.

  • Right now you can see the Samurai pictures of the Samurai.

  • And in a karate is in al more prefecture.

  • They have been growing rice for about 2000 years.

  • About 200,000 people come to visit almost every year just to see this art.

  • So it's pretty amazing.

  • The locals come together and they plant the rice together as a group.

  • So it's not just one person, it's a big group of people that come and help and uh harvest the rice and it grows like this.

  • So they use several different types of rice to make the art.

  • There's another place in the knockout dot that you can see the tambo art.

  • So we're gonna go check that out after after this.

  • So it's pretty tough.

  • Oh, mhm, mhm, mm, mm hmm.

  • Uh Godzilla has come to mean a lot to look at it.

  • It's huge if you were here in person, like the two pictures that we saw before, but like in one all the way stretching from here to over there and it says shin Godzilla.

  • So tom beaux art started in 1993.

  • Quite a long time.

  • But the first five years, like I said, they did Mount Iwaki because it's very simple.

  • But then they transformed into this, which is pretty incredible.

  • Today we're in Montessori and if you look behind me, there's a bunch of diesel behind us.

  • The geezer behind us represent the buddhist religion in Japan representing the afterlife.

  • Yeah.

  • Today we're gonna look around the grounds of us or this place is basically the bridge between the afterlife and the real world.

  • So it's really interesting here.

  • Yeah, Montessori is an active volcano and peaks at 879 m.

  • The air is silent and filled with the smell of sulfur from the Hot Springs and Lake.

  • So you can take a bath you want anytime any, any day.

  • It's really interesting inside and it's all from the hot spring here, which is all the way up here.

  • So we're gonna go check that out as well.

  • Okay, It's incredibly quiet here.

  • It's probably the most quiet that I've ever experienced in Japan, like at a temple or shrine.

  • This place is a very holy place way up in the mountains.

  • So it's really beautiful.

  • The pinwheels over here for the Children that have passed away or unborn Children.

  • So a lot of people leave little pinwheels here.

  • Mhm, mhm yeah.

  • Mhm, mm hmm, mm hmm, mhm mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • We're stepping over a bunch of rocks.

  • You gotta be careful where you step, mm could fart here and nobody would know.

  • Spike the stickiness.

  • It's probably one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to in Japan stretching across the lands.

  • You can see that people have stacked the stones and rocks.

  • This is called sino cholera.

  • These small stone towers were made by people who lost someone and represents their souls.

  • So don't touch them.

  • This lake is known as the Land of perfect Bliss where a buddhist god is said to live.

  • The lake is acidic but clear because it contains volcanic gas.

  • Yeah, yeah, this is going to Yokohama.

  • It means heavens, beach, wow.

  • And it does, it looks like heaven right here because the water is so blue, but it's all from the sulfur.

  • So that's why it's so blue and it's kind of bubbling.

  • But apparently it's cool.

  • So if you touch the water.

  • Oh it's cold while traveling.

  • I found all this information on an app called panic ties an english guidebook for all your travel needs.

  • So I'll link information down below.

  • Mhm.

  • We were able to visit the very bridge that souls walk across to the afterlife.

  • Mhm Yeah.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Two demons guard the bridge.

  • It is said when he passed, the old woman takes her clothes and the man hangs them on the tree, which is why the leaves are wilting.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • So we're at a restaurant right now called Zen.

  • And Zen is a local restaurant that a lot of local people come.

  • Not many tourists or anything like that.

  • It's kind of like a small little shop and it mostly has sashimi and fish.

  • So I got this today.

  • This is our first meal of our course.

  • The food was amazing and there were so many things to try.

  • The one thing that I really liked was the shell that they lit on fire and they put some salmon and seafood and tofu inside.

  • Mix it together with some egg and it tasted so good.

  • So I recommend this dish very, very much this place was close to the very north part of han xu.

  • So they are known for their maduro which is tuna and the tuna was definitely the best tuna I've ever tasted.

  • Yeah.
