It is Wednesday afternoon and when I left my house the temperature was 66 degrees.

水曜日の午後、家を出たときの気温は66度でした。

And I'm looking at the temperatures right now in Big Bear and it is 46 degrees.

今、ビッグベアの気温を見てみると、46度です。

I am expecting snow in Big Bear.

Big Bearでは雪を期待しています。

I do have my snow chains prepared.

スノーチェーンは用意しています。

I'm not sure if there's gonna be a checkpoint if there is.

I'm prepared for it.

And I think we are the about an hour and 15 minutes away and so far it's still super sunny and warm on this side because we're not up in the mountains yet.

And so we is unless you can see her, she's sleeping just taking a nap when we are taking the background to Big Bear instead of the main way to get in.

And it was a little bit tricky finding it on google maps.

Uh, kept wanting to out us the normal way and I couldn't get it to do the back way.

So I went on apple maps and Apple maps actually gave direct three different directions and I had the one that I wanted where it goes up to 15, you go through Apple Valley and then eventually you take the 18 and then it gets you into the back entrance at Big Bear.

アップルマップで検索してみると、実際には3種類の道順が表示されましたが、私が希望していたのは、15番まで行ってアップルバレーを通り、最終的に18番に乗ってビッグベアの裏口に入る道順でした。

And apparently this is kind of like the way the whole holes go or the people who are familiar with big Bear, they go this route because it's less traffic and also it's less windy.

そして、このルートは、全ホールが通る道のようなもので、ビッグベアをよく知っている人たちは、交通量が少なく、風も弱いので、このルートを通るそうです。

So we made it into a big bear city and I'm about five minutes away from the Airbnb.

There is no up here.

The roads are clear though, so we didn't have to put on our entire chain, which is nice because I really was not looking forward to doing that.

Yeah, we made it, but our driveway has a little bit of ice so we can't nice.

No, So we can't really, what would you call when the tires to keep on slipping that we went through, but it's cold.

Well actually it's more like afternoon, it's almost noon And we're now heading out to the visitor center to pick up an adventure parks.

今は午後というよりも、もうすぐお昼です。 これからビジターセンターに行ってアドベンチャーパークを購入します。

Um we want to check out one of the trails and in order to park there, you have to have a parking house or a venture past and it's $5.

Yeah, we are at Women Trail.

It's not about 10:15 minutes and I still can't figure out where this trail starts.

There's like no markers or no indicators of where it starts.

Looking like there's 16 points to him, but I don't see any because it's an interpretive trail, but I don't see any markers anywhere.

This is probably the weirdest hike I've ever been on where there's no explanation of where it starts, so we may just kind of like hang around for a little bit and then go somewhere else because we can't quite figure out this hike.

Yeah, we never really figured out that trail, but we had fun there anyways um in this one area with a lot of snow and Joey, so we did a lot of fat playing fetch there.

So now we're heading off to Hugo crest trail, which is about four minutes away from this trail, the trail that we're just to add and this one is a really long trail.

I think it's like almost six miles.

So we're not gonna do this entire trip, entire trail, we're just gonna go there and check it out, see what this looks like.

So this one looks like the path is pretty clear on where it starts.

So I guess this trail goes all the way slushy.

Mm So instead of doing the entire hike, we're kind of scoping out where we can go sledding.

So did bring a sled trying to find a nice patch of snow for sledding.

So we spent, I want to say at least an hour just sledding.

それで、少なくとも1時間はそり遊びをしていましたね。

We have the entire place to ourselves I think probably because it is a little icy so if you're not careful I guess it could be kind of dangerous.

少し凍っているので、気をつけないと危険かもしれませんね。

And so now we're gonna check out the lake, heard it's a really beautiful walk there and they have paved trails, It's not quite a few people there when we drove by earlier, so we're just gonna go and check it out.

先ほど車で通りかかったときには、まだ人が少なかったので、これから湖を見に行きましょう。

So we went to two different trails, the Woodland Hill trail and the cougar crest trail could crest trail is I think I enjoyed that one the most just because we were able to find a really good spot to go study and then afterwards we went to the link and just walked across uh or walked along the lake a little bit.

ウッドランド・ヒル・トレイルとクーガークレスト・トレイルの2つのトレイルに行きました。クーガークレスト・トレイルは、勉強するのに最適な場所を見つけることができたので、一番楽しかったと思います。

And that was nice because there was there was some ducks there that Zoe um like to stare.

そこには、ゾーイが好きなアヒルがいたので、良かったです。

A she doesn't really chase them that I think she knows she can't really catch numbers there in the water.

A彼女はあまり追いかけないので、水の中では数が釣れないことを知っているのだと思います。

I think there is plenty to do in Big bear with your dog.

愛犬と一緒にビッグベアでできることはたくさんあると思います。

There's a lot of dog friendly things to do and all of the trails there are dog friendly and if you I want to go there just to you know do heights and spend time with your dog, there's plenty to do there, even if you're not someone that wants to go there for ski or snowboarding.

犬と一緒に楽しめるコースがたくさんあり、スキーやスノーボードが目的でなくても、高所作業や犬との時間を楽しむために行くことができます。

And I wish I had one more day to explore a little bit more of the other trails and big man.

そして、もう1日あれば、他のトレイルやビッグマンをもう少し探索できたのにと思いました。
