  • So here I am at this beautiful hotel, eating so much good food, relaxing and enjoying my own private onset.

  • And I got old distance to Japanese taxes.

  • Hey, guys, is May and I'm here to talk to you about taxes, that it sounds really daunting.

  • Don't be daunted.

  • It's actually.

  • When I was first told us about Japanese Texas, I was kind of excited.

  • I don't think that anywhere else in the world does taxes like this, so I'll give you a basic rundown.

  • When you file your taxes in Japan, they usually go towards the city that you're in, like and say, mate, with your country, I'm sure they usually go to the city that you are currently in.

  • In Japan, you can actually choose to donate or contribute your Texas to another city or premature or place, and you can actually decide what you want to donate them to, like whether it's education or environment.

  • If you really want to support another place in Japan, and rather than see that you're currently living in, it's a perfect way to do it.

  • The best part about it is you actually get a gift from the place that you donate your taxes to this Could be anything from, like the local fruit specialty.

  • Like the box pairs or or a slab of meet.

  • If it's famous for its beef or something, anything to a hotel stay.

  • So right now I'm in Fukushima, and I'm staying in a hotel with your own private onset.

  • And this is one of the rewards for donating your taxes to this, uh, this area.

  • So I'm gonna talk you guys through the process.

  • Uh, this is the people who live and work in Japan and actually do Texas stuff here.

  • If you don't, it's an interesting process of feel free to come along.

  • But if not, you can skip to the end of the video and just check out this amazing hotel, which is just I complete with places beautiful.

  • Let me talk you through the process so you can actually go through this whole process in English, which is really for May cause the deafening system could be a bit confusing sometimes.

  • So you go through this site called Food and Muddy.

  • So they're actually instructions on the side if you ever get lost with this whole thing, but you go to the site and you go to that calculator, you put in the estimated amount that you in the year and then use the calculated to see what your text deduction is gonna be.

  • And with that amount, you can go and see what gets your eligible for what gets.

  • You can afford that amount when you know how much you can afford to gift.

  • You can go in search on the Web site for different gifts by by searching by the type of gift by searching the area, searching by the course that you want to donate to.

  • And then you could just spend your time browsing through the different kinds of gifts and see what kind of things you're interested in.

  • If you can't quite afford the gift that you want, it's OK.

  • You can make up the rest of money yourselves.

  • You could do half something.

  • So after you've chosen the gift that you want and the place that you want to send it to you, just go ahead and you pay by credit card.

  • You originally had to pay for it yourself.

  • This is this is just how the system works.

  • You'd pay for it yourself, but then when you received the gift, you will actually get a receipt.

  • You keep the receipt and then you declare it is not use taxes.

  • It's just positive that use Texas.

  • And so then the next year, the cost of that gift will be deducted from your Texas.

  • So if you work as a freelance that you just get the receipt and send it in with your taxes.

  • If you work with a company, you'll be sent a form with your gift.

  • So if you live and work in Japan, I really recommend Check it out and just seeing how the system works, because I don't know if anywhere else in the world please other people in the world.

  • If there's a system like this in your country, please let me know, because I think this is so cool and interesting, like Texas for me, always such this thing of like, I don't know what I'm doing.

  • This is that it's such a stressful thing.

  • But if you include like a gift with it and you get to donate to like a good cause in a good area and you you know what it's going to, what it's like, it just makes the whole system so much more fun and interesting and high.

  • If you actually get to say a place like this, it's like Thanks Japan.

  • I don't know.

  • It's just such a cool system.

  • I was ahead about else.

  • Important thing.

  • Almond put us up the nose.
