- Okay, which one do you wanna be?

- Okay, I'm gonna say I wanna be an Iron Man.

- An, oh there are so many Iron Men!

- There are so many.

Design it however you want.

- Ooh. Ooh.

- Be as free as you wanna be.

- Jason, that's so fun.

- It can be War Machine, - Aw.

- You can just draw me as War Machine.

- Cool.

- Who do you wanna be?

- Just make me Doctor Strange.

Make me a little weird. - Doctor Strange?

All right.

- Need some of the hand stuff.

- Yeah the hand,

oh, hands!

- What Avenger do you wanna be?

- I would have a lot of fun as

Valkyrie, from Thor Ragnarok.

Yeah the Tessa Thompson version.

I think she's really badass.

- (laughs) Make me the Hulk.

- Okay! (laughs)

- So which Avenger do you wanna be?

- Let me, oh...

I wanna be Thanos.

- Of course you do.

- I wanna be Thanos.

- [Kevin] Yeah.

- I want big muscles, and I want a big chin.

- Yep.

- Who do you wanna be?

- Surprise me.

- Really?!

- You get to choose, Jackie.

- I get to choose one of the-

- Don't tell me who you're gonna draw me as.

- Oh it's gonna be...

- Don't say it.

- It looks like we're allowed to use reference on this one.

- Yeah, thank god.

(laughing)

I don't wanna imagine an Iron Man suit

from my head.

- I already hate the decisions I've made.

- (laughs) You just started!

- I know!

- I am like, already in panic mode

and I haven't even started.

- No!

- So why did you choose the Hulk?

- Him big.

- Its gonna be something that's gonna amuse you.

I know that.

- Yeah I'm amused right now.

- Its gonna be something that you find very funny.

- Now I'm having like issues with drawing you

from an angle.

But,

- What would you like me to do Jason?

- Can you- can I take a picture of him?

- [producer] Sure.

- Can you look this way slighty?

Give me a smile.

(laughs)

Is this like a dreamboat smile?

- Yeah.

- Thank you that's perfect.

- Look at me Kevin.

- That's creepy.

- Jason is working from a photo cheating?

Shouldn't artists not have to use references ever

and just come up with everything from their head

all the time?

- Hey I use photo reference constantly.

(laughs)

- No!

Using reference is not cheating.

Using reference is really,

that's an important element of doing art.

People that think that using reference is copying,

I think they don't understand what goes on in the art world.

That's my spicy take on that.

(laughs)

- What would be your dream iron man colors?

- Oh yeah I wanna be green black and yellow.

Green black and gold.

- Green?

- [Jason] Because those are the,

- Green and gold. Does that look good?

- [Jason] That's the Jamaican colors.

- Oh okay.

- The color is Jamaican black.

- I don't remember this character wearing this outfit,

but I guess he did wear it.

- He.

So its a he.

- Okay but,

- [Kevin] No I'm not gonna guess.

- Okay but most of the like characters

in this universe are men.

- [Kevin] Fair enough.

- Maybe you should...

- Check my privilege?

- Think about that!

- I don't know.

- There you go you're making coffee.

- (scoffs) What?

That's my- I have the powers of the universe

at my disposal and I use them to heat up my coffee

in the morning?

- Yeah.

- Cool.

- Jackie how you doin?

- This is pretty interesting.

Its not like a super good drawing,

but I think you're gonna like it.

I think gonna like who I chose for you.

- But,

You're gonna roast me in whoever this character is.

- Oh no I'm not.

You're gonna be-

You look great right now.

- I do?

- No.

- Aw.

- What super power would you wanna have

if you were a superhero?

- The superpower I feel like I'd wanna have would be,

probably like the ability to transform into anything.

Cause you can do like anything.

- [Stephanie] Yeah

- I'd be like unstoppable.

- I've always liked the idea of flying.

I feel like real world physics would probably make that,

not great to do.

- Yeah I feel like there's a lot of powers

that seem cool but they're probably like eh.

- The one that always gets me is like reading minds.

That's the last power I would want.

- I know its like too much.

Its like would you really wanna know that?

- If you could be any one of the avengers besides

Thanos who would you pick?

- Who had the least bad life?

- Maybe vision?

- No Vision like mega dies.

He like gets his like forehead ripped off.

- But he like lives forever cause he's a robot.

- [Jackie] Yeah but his forehead gets ripped off.

Also he's a robot doesn't he struggle with emotions?

- Don't you struggle with emotions?

(sad piano music)

(laughs)

- So how do you think you're doing?

- I don't have the hulk attitude in here.

You are not the angry version of hulk.

I realize now that I am missing that component.

I'm gonna make you angry.

I'm gonna give you angry eyebrows.

- Oh boy.

(laughs)

- Are you having a terrible time?

- I'm not having a terrible time its just,

its you look very squat.

- (laughs) Squat?

- [Kevin] Yeah.

- You're making me squat?

- You have no neck.

- C'mon!

I have a neck look.

- You're right.

- You ever like,

okay when you draw hands,

I always have to like count the fingers a couple times.

(laughs)

I feel like I'm always like missing fingers.

- Is that five?

That's four fingers that's good.

We're good.

That's the right amount of fingers.

- One thing I'm always paranoid about is

drawing backwards hands.

- Oh me too!

I was just thinking about- right?

- Ill give you a hint this is an

artistically inclined Iron Man.

- Yeah I'll take it.

- Abs are hard.

- [Kyra] Oh yeah.

- Abs are really hard to draw.

- So strong.

(laughs)

- I wanna intimidate everyone.

(laughs)

- Its always hard when they have like very

complicated visual effects to their power set,

you know.

Its just like how do you draw?

- Oh yeah the like green sparkly things.

- Yeah.

- So his whole thing was like if half the world

is gone we have more resources?

- Yep.

- My coworker said the funniest thing to me.

- Okay.

- She said why instead of making half the world disappear,

did he not just make everyone 50% smaller?

- Its a good point.

Its a real good point.

- I always thought the idea of that was so funny

and anticlimactic if he used his powers and snapped

and everyone just got a little smaller.

Like not too small like just small enough

that its inconvenient.

- Yeah exactly.

- Like oh now cars are too big

and now everything we've ever invented is a little too big.

- I like that.

I think that's a good plan.

- You look like a frog.

(laughs)

- Yes!

- I made you look like a frog.

- I love frogs.

- There's something about the feet that

makes very froggy.

- I have finished.

- I'm almost done.

Stick with me kid.

- I can floss.

Can I show them that I can floss?

- Oh my god.

- Guys look I know how to floss.

- Congratulations Jackie, you

are the coolest kid of 2018.

- Its 2020.

Aw I see now.

Very rude.

- Gotcha.

- Jason how'd you do buddy?

- I think I did okay,

I'm just wondering if it looks like you,

cause your eyes are kinda closed in this.

But you have kind of the Doctor Strange haircut

without the gray.

So I'm like I hope it like reads as you.

- Its not quite hulk enough,

but its muscly green lady

who kind of looks like a frog.

- That's exactly what I want to be so

I'm glad that it turned out like that.

- I'm really glad

that I could fulfill that dream for you.

- Thank you.

- I think you're gonna like it.

I think it actually is a pretty good drawing.

- Okay.

- Its like horrible, like subject wise,

but you know I think its cool.
