we have a lot of really exciting things happening in 2020.

especially with my remodeling the house.

And we felt that the best way to put me back together

was to pause life and rent a home for a little holiday.

since today is my birthday and that marks five years

since my beautiful wife whisked me away to the city

and proposed to me at sunset,

looking out over the Colosseum.

We walked up to the first viewing platform of Il Vittoriano,

which we have to go up a lot of stairs inside.

But then you finally get to the lift

that takes you all the way up to the top.

This is the exact spot that we got engaged in

five years ago today.

Look, (gasps) you can see the Colosseum.

(gasps) It's very exciting to me.

- It's very romantic.

- It is, you're a wonderful human.

(both moaning, Jessica smooches)

- I think we looked the same,

I don't have eyeliner on anymore.

- We look a lot better, let's be honest.

Even though I don't have natural eyebrows anymore.

- Aww, now you have gray hair now too.

- You had gray hair then.

we came to five years ago and had our last meal in Rome.

There are many, many places to sit in this apartment.

This is the restaurant that we went to five years ago

and it's really cool because they let you

write on the walls, which you know,

is like a secret joy that we all still really want to do

even though we're adults now and shouldn't.

But we're gonna go and find where we wrote on the wall

five years ago.

We're here before it's even open, we're just that keen.

- [Claudia] Is this the bit you've been

looking forward to the most?

- Yeah, is that weird?

It is, just coming back here,

seeing where we wrote our names on the walls,

having lovely food.

Just reliving memories.

- One of my favorite things about staying in an apartment

is that some evenings, no matter how lovely the city is

that you're currently staying in,

you just don't want to go out.

You just don't want to deal with other people,

you just fancy a night in with making some nice food

in your own kitchen and then cuddling on the sofa

and watching Netflix.

- [Claudia] Yeah!

- So we went to the local Carrefour,

otherwise known as some kind of mini supermarket,

like a Tesco Express, really.

But better food.

And got soup.

And salad for me, and Claudia's got some kind of pasta

with an inside thing that we then worked out was artichoke.
