after a former "Vogue" magazine editor 4

claimed the dress she wore at the Met Gala back in 2007 5

was way over the top. 6

"Her breasts maybe fell out of her dress on the red carpet. 7

"And then at dinner it was suddenly like, whoa, 8

"Jessica Simpson's breasts are across from me 9

"at the dinner table and they are on a platter 10

"and I'm looking at them," says former editor Sally Singer. 11

Simpson wore this silver Roberto Cavalli gown 12

with a plunging neckline 13

that left little to the imagination. 14

After seeing the "Vogue" article, 15

Jessica took to social media. 16

"To be shamed by another woman for having boobs in 2020 17

is nauseating." 18

She compared her experience to Jayne Mansfield, 19

the iconic sex symbol from the 50s and 60s. 20

Today, "Vogue" issued an apology. 21
