  • You used to be a doctor?

  • Yes.

  • Help me.

  • Huh.

  • Now with your neck, do you have any what

  • they call radicular symptoms.

  • Does it go down?

  • We'll be right back after these messages.

  • Does it go down like a nerve distribution?

  • No.

  • So no numbness, no in your arms or legs?

  • No.

  • I think anti-inflammatories once with meals three times a day

  • for a total of 10 days, giving it rest,

  • will calm down the inflammation.

  • Maybe some extra Tylenol for breakthrough pain--

  • I think you'll be great.

  • You'll have my bill later on, OK?

  • It'll be great, guys.

  • We'll be right back with Ken Cures All.

  • I'm on-- here's what I'm on.

  • I'm on steroids.

  • I'm on a muscle relaxer.

  • And I'm on a shot of something they

  • give basketball players to--

  • Toradol.

  • Toradol.

  • Yeah, but I still--

  • Yeah, I know it.

  • I'm a doctor.

  • I know these things.

  • All right, all right.

  • Sorry, my nurse was there.

  • I--

  • He just-- he hates that he's not part of the show all the time.

  • He's-- he wants to be in on it so bad.

  • But yeah, and so when that shot wears off, I take some--

  • like three Advil and two Tylenol,

  • that's what they told me.

  • Yeah.

  • And studies-- like, my wife still is a doctor.

  • And studies show that if you take the Advil with the Tylenol

  • at the same time, it is effective as some narcotics.

  • So the more you know, so you know?

  • Yeah, good to know.

  • That's coming up soon.

  • All right, I saw you on the Emmys the other night.

  • Did you enjoy yourself?

  • Do you love going to those shows?

  • Yeah, it was so much fun.

  • It was like-- to me, it's just a really cool date night

  • with my wife.

  • And there she, yes.

  • There she is.

  • Yes.

  • She is lovely.

  • And her last name is Ho.

  • So all the jokes go, it's great to have

  • a date night with my Ho.

  • It's wonderful.

  • Yeah.

  • I'm never above a cheap pun.

  • No, no.

  • And it never gets old.

  • You're fine.

  • It's always funny.

  • Never not funny.

  • Never?

  • And how old are your daughters?

  • They're 12.

  • Twin girls-- they're 12.

  • Would you bring them to a thing like that?

  • Would they love that?

  • You know, if they would-- you down, down the line, yeah,

  • I would love to bring them to some of these shows.

  • They're having-- oh, this is at my birthday party I literally

  • had just a few months ago.

  • And so yeah, that's Alexa on the right and Zooey on the left.

  • That's right-- love of my life.

  • Do they think you're funny?

  • No, not really.

  • When you're around this energy all the time, you know,

  • you do get a kind of an emotional callus, I think.

  • They're kind of like, just--

  • to get used to it.

  • But I do occasionally score cool points with them.

  • But ultimately, as long as--

  • our parental philosophy is that I'm a doctor,

  • and I love doing it.

  • But I love entertaining even more.

  • And I'm doing what I love.

  • And my kids can see that I'm really

  • passionate about overacting.

  • So they really think, you know-- and being really aggressive

  • with my comedy.

  • So they really-- they are seeing me doing something

  • that I joyfully love to do for a living.

  • And that's really what I'm here for.

  • Right, which is a good lesson for them, because it's like,

  • you know, it's a big thing, too, that you became a doctor.

  • And ultimately, it's not what your passion was.

  • And you moved on to something else.

  • Yeah.

  • So if they do something that makes them a whole lot of money

  • and they drop out to be an artist, do you support that?

  • Well I mean, when you put it that way,

  • you're really opening my eyes to a lot of things right now.

  • You know what?

  • Stay in school, Alexa and Zooey.

  • Don't overact like me.

  • So you said that was your birthday?

  • You had like a karaoke party, right?

  • Yeah, it was my wife.

  • The Ho threw it.

  • And it was--

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • Thank you.

  • And I just turned 50, hence the mid-life crisis wardrobe.

  • And--

  • [CHEERS]

  • Thank you.

  • I know I don't look it, but as I said in the Emmys, you know,

  • Asian don't raisin.

  • So-- but my wife threw the best karaoke party ever.

  • It was at a karaoke bar called the Brass

  • Monkey in downtown LA.

  • And we rented it out for the night

  • and had a lot of friends show up, and my fam.

  • My wife and kids were there.

  • And it was like people--

  • judges from The Masked Singer were there.

  • Like, Robin Thicke came, and we did a duet of Prince's Kiss

  • together.

  • Oh, wow.

  • And Nicole came--

  • Scherzinger-- who is also a judge on The Masked Singer.

  • We did 4 Non Blondes.

  • Like we did-- so my friends who are in medicine, who are not

  • in showbiz, they were witnessing a concert by all these people.

  • Basically, yes.

  • It was a lot of fun.

  • That's a cool birthday party.

  • And so Masked Singer is such a huge hit.

  • What's happening in this season two?

  • Season two is just bigger and better.

  • There's more contestants.

  • The talent pool is even higher than last season.

  • I'm dumber, but it's OK.

  • But really, the show is even more compelling.

  • And actually, you know?

  • I actually had more fun doing it this season around

  • because we kind of knew the show.

  • We had more fun.

  • We're a bit more relaxed.

  • And we really-- really, the costumes.

  • Marina, who designs the costumes,

  • doesn't get enough credit, because they really--

  • the costumes and the contestants really make the show.

  • The format's amazing.

  • Yeah.

  • No, it's doing really well.

  • That's fantastic.

  • All right, so let's take a break.

  • And when we come back, we're going to play a game.

  • But since you're here for The Masked Singer,

  • you can't do it in those clothes.

  • So we're going to send you back there.

  • You're going to change clothes.

  • And then we'll play a game.

  • Does that make sense?

  • Yes.

  • Yes, it does.

  • It doesn't to me, but let's--

  • all right.

  • As long as you'll go along with it, we'll be right back.

You used to be a doctor?
