  • Hi, this is Candy.

  • I am in California in L.

  • A County, and today is Week four in California.

  • We officially now have to wear our facemasks.

  • When we are in public.

  • They don't even call facemasks.

  • Actually, they called it face coverings.

  • The cases have gone up there, other hot spots in the States.

  • Now I know New York has always kind of been the hot spot, but now they're seeing a rise.

  • And Louisiana, Chicago, Florida has been on the rise in California.

  • I've noticed that instead of saying social distancing, they're now starting to say physical distancing because social distancing kind of still sounds like, you know, you're a lot of go out and socialize, so that's something that's actually been a little bit different to is now.

  • People are starting to say physical distancing, although I am so used to saying social distancing Now I I don't even say physical distancing.

  • Also, Wuhan, China officially has released their locked down.

  • I think there's still being cautious.

  • They are still taking precautions, but they did celebrate and they held these lights go up in the city, and I think air and public transportation is starting to run again.

  • So that's a glimpse of good use.

  • Hopefully, you know it won't be too, until you know we can celebrate.

  • I have noticed at the grocery store now that when you stand in line outside they are.

  • They can sure people stand six feet apart from each other.

  • Even in lying, people are standing.

  • There's like little stickers on the floor.

  • What tells you where to stand?

  • And when you go to the register, there is now, like this plastic cover where kind of shields you from the cashier this week.

  • Finally, I was able to buy a cardinal eggs at my normal grocery store at General Price, which is awesome because I think the other last week, when I had to go to, like the special special place kind, like this hidden spot where I was able to buy about having the weight line.

  • But when I went again, I know that they raised the price of dollars.

  • No longer was a kind of white you know, my place to go to buy cheaper eggs or eggs at the prices are used to buying, although they are still out of toilet paper and paper towels at the grocery store I actually got in the Malto paper.

  • So, um, I am okay until paper right now.

  • This week I went to the Asian grocery store.

  • I am at the Korean market, Um, like to come to the Asian markets to go grocery shopping because usually there's less people.

  • Everyone's following the rules and wearing masks and gloves, and I'm in and out of there like, right away.

  • And there's always plenty of food that I need that I want to get specifically, like healthy Japanese foods like burdock Root.

  • Mabel, she told food me so So I get all of that here, and it's usually cheaper than, you know, getting it from American grocery stores.

  • So yep.

  • So I come here once a week to stock up on my Asian groceries.

  • I got in the mill this week, a facemask from my little sister in Japan.

  • I didn't make my own, but I was limited on the fabric that I had.

  • So my sister, when she is like making a bunch of them right now, So she asked if I wanted it, and I was like, Yes, please send me some and I finally got my which is interesting that it took a week longer to get mine because Crystal got hers last week and I just got my I have the face mask just hanging up on my wall.

  • Whenever I go out, I put one on, and then when I come back home, I stayed in the hamper and I washed it since they were usable.

  • Oh, man, there has been so much rain this week in Ally like I really it's such a drag us, firstly, when you have a dog because each time I take my dog out for a walk, I have to bathe her when I get home or renal Ritz her off.

  • And But, you know, it probably is a good thing to that.

  • It's raining because it keeps people from going outside cause on sunny days there's quite a bit of people out and about walking around.

  • And I've noticed, too, that I'm pretty much the only one in my neighborhood.

  • Maybe maybe a couple other people I have seen actually wear their mass when they're out all right, that's all that's going on on my end this week.

  • Let's see what crystals up to things are pretty much the same except things got 11 more strict.

  • So now they're telling us to stay at home as much as we can, which they have said before.

  • But now they're asking us to do, but more so, like limit our grocery shopping and also where masks wherever we go, these aren't mandated.

  • They're just recommendations.

  • So not everybody is worrying masks yet of just this past weekend, I went to Riverwalk again to take UMA for a walk, and I went early in the morning, so I didn't have to come across a lot of people's.

  • I can practice, you know, the proper social distance things.

  • And I have to be around a lot of people.

  • And I don't see anybody wearing maths except for me.

  • I am at Riverwalk today in Tampa, and, um, the CDC has said that it is recommended Teoh, where Mass South side now or any you know, cloth over your face or your mouth.

  • So definitely doing that.

  • I'm using the mass that Cindy made me.

  • You know, I still want to take Kuma outside somewhere.

  • She's always looking forward.

  • Teoh doing something different on the weekends.

  • You ready to go out here?

  • You ready to go walking at the river walk.

  • She's just like, just put on your mask and let's go.

  • I, uh oh, my She is very, very so most of time shall go on, uh, on her back.

  • Okay.

  • Sorry.

  • Can't take up the lease.

  • I'm sorry.

  • Looks like I'm the only one wearing this mask out here.

  • Nobody else is wearing a mask.

  • I've seen maybe one person walking their dogs wearing a mask, but nobody else is.

  • I pretty much looked like the odd one out, but I'm gonna be safe.

  • I'm used to wearing a mask, but I do still feel weird wearing one in the States because nobody else is.

  • Really.

  • But I am seeing little by little more people wearing masks today.

  • Um, I stopped by publics and I wear my mask, and there wasn't have any people there, but I would say 1/4 of the people were made where he masks.

  • So not everybody is wearing a mask yet.

  • I mean to me is like if you go anywhere, you should wear a mask.

  • And if you can't make a mask or if you can't find a mask, then you can also use a scarf or bandanna is just like cover your nose and your mouth.

  • I have seen some people do that, too.

  • So this past week the company I worked for sent out an email saying that our work from home will be extended until at least May 4th.

  • Originally, we were supposed to go back on April 17th.

  • But, you know, we all had a feeling that we would get We would have to work from home a little bit longer and we officially got that email.

  • So I mean, I'm totally fine with it.

  • Still talking Teoh a lot of my friends and my family on Skype, and my mom really, really loves Koumas videos.

  • She really likes the one work who was ringing the bell so that she's like, Oh, you gotta show more of the videos.

  • So then I showed the wine with Kuma bringing her other bill, which is by the door.

  • That's the one that she rings when she took, lets me know that she wants to go outside.

  • And so then I started doing other videos of her, like all her tricks that she does, and I'm thinking about getting her a new trick, but not sure what Trigger want teacher?

  • Yet I also put out this wallpaper behind the, um, the same wallpaper that candy got.

  • Except like it's like a different color and styles from is by Drew Barrymore's designed.

  • She has, like, the cute is stuff on Walmart.

  • It was actually a little bit harder for me to put up because I have such high ceilings.

  • So to reach the top, the very, very top.

  • I didn't have a ladder either.

  • So I had to use this dangerous method of putting and ottoman on top of this chair.

  • And then I had to kind of still reach up to get to the top.

  • So it was a little bit straining, but I gotta die.

  • Um, I still have a little bit more work to do on, like the size, but for the most part, I think I did pretty good.

  • All right, well, that's about it for a week.

  • For hope.

  • Everyone staying safe out there.

  • If you like this video, please give it up.
