  • Hello, everyone.

  • And welcome to another video Now the MD r X 5500 x t.

  • This is a car that launched a few months ago and at the time I probably made a few comments here in there about how I felt that the 16 50 super was a better by and this was even before I had tested the card.

  • Now I had always intended to review it.

  • It's just that the model that I wanted to take a look at wasn't available, at least not here in the UK today.

  • However, well, I was able to find the model I was after all along.

  • And that is the power color version right here.

  • This is the cheapest on dhe, possibly even the smallest 5500 extra.

  • You come by right now.

  • Today I want to take a look at it to see just what it can do now.

  • In this video, I'll also be comparing the 5500 x t results to that off the 16 50 Super the tree pissed 16 50 Super, in fact.

  • So we're taking a look at how the cheapest 5500 X t and the cheapest 16 50 super do in comparison to each other.

  • It's not just about the gameplay figures.

  • It's also about what sort of features these cards have.

  • And I actually want to start with that because the 5500 x t this model anyway has something that my cheapest 16 50 super doesn't on DDE.

  • What is that feature?

  • Are he you ask?

  • Well, it may seem trivial to some, but it's the fan.

  • This power color 5500 x t s fan completely stops at low load and even under load.

  • It is far quieter than my 16 50 super, which does not have this feature for anyone like me who likes their PC to be as quiet as possible.

  • The 5500 x t would be the winner if we were judging them both on noise alone.

  • As a reminder.

  • This is the 16 50 s in question.

  • It's the palate version of the card.

  • Both this on the 5500 x t have four gigs of Judy are six, and here are the side by side specs.

  • So then, if it's a quiet computing experience you're after, then this 5500 X t would be the way to go.

  • In terms of power requirements, the A M D card needs 18 pin connector on the 16 50 Super Just a solitary six pin.

  • Both should work fine on a decent 350.

  • What ps you minimum though the 16 50 Super only has a 100 What TDP compared to the 130 What?

  • 5500 x t Now though we must move on to the fun part gaming Both GP use have bean paired with my rise and 5 1600 test system.

  • The new version which is essentially a 26 100 with a different name 16 gigs of 3200 megahertz DDR four on all the games have been installed on my one terabyte s S D So both cards are very capable at 10.

  • 80 p resolution and to kick off the bench marks, I ran the in game far cry five test.

  • All the footage was recorded with the 5560 in the system, and performance in game may differ from the set benchmark result.

  • So at high with t a on and motion blur off far cry fires exceeded 80 frames per second and maintained a very respectable 1% low figure.

  • The card has previously mentioned also stayed very quiet, with the fan noise not exceeding that of the's stock rise in five Fan.

  • This was not only impressive but surprising.

  • Usually, single fan entry level cards are more audible than this.

  • So far, it's clear that this is going to be a close one throughout.

  • But what I will say is that either choice is a good one.

  • Thoughts the horizon for was even closer.

  • In fact, on average, there was no more than a single frame in it.

  • The frame rate will of course, depend on what process, sir you use.

  • I feel that the rise and 5 1600 is still a perfect companion to a card like this, not just for the 5500 x t, but for the 16 50 Super as well.

  • So far, I am really liking this power color card.

  • I'm glad I waited for this model to pop up before reviewing another.

  • This game was tested on the high settings once again, and you may notice that the V Room figure is creeping right up to four gigs throughout.

  • There are, of course, eight.

  • Gig 5500 ext is on the market, and you should consider the prices of those before buying a four gig one.

  • But I don't believe you confined an eight gig model of this specific power color card, so correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Next up, I know GT A four right Well is an older game, but it can still give.

  • Modern systems are hard time because it still seems popular as well.

  • I thought it was worth a test.

  • And while the 5500 X t performs quite well, there are a few Stater's and there that may be quite off putting thes primarily occurred during the first mission.

  • These were less apparent on the 16 50 super.

  • Either way, 10.

  • 80 p and 60 frames per second will be no problem for either of these cards.

  • What's more than 5500 X.

  • T s fan barely span up here, too.

  • I'd recommend locking the frame rate to 60 for the best experience with duty a four now read it.

  • Redemption proved quite interesting.

  • Test wise.

  • I ran the in game benchmark three times with each card using the first favor quality preset.

  • I touched no other setting except the option to turn off the sink.

  • And once the benchmarks were complete, I was surprised to see a difference of 10 frames per second, on average between the two.

  • However, this difference will be more subtle during actual game players.

  • Different areas of the map can have a huge impact on the performance.

  • It was playable on both cards, though the experience on the 5500 X t did feel smoother.

  • Turning a few options down would probably guarantee you six DF ps.

  • Maybe not a constant 60 but 60 most of the time.

  • Pushing everything way up will of course, exceed the V RAM limit of both cards, though, but even so, the 5560 probably isn't a GPU intended for ultra settings.

  • Anyway, this is red dead, too.

  • After all, now I say this every time.

  • But the Outer Worlds favors in video cards.

  • The 5500 X T still did well and at high we were able to meet and exceed a nice 60 FBS average.

  • I did notice a few framed it's though, but I guess some of these could be contributed to the area loading.

  • This was present with the 16 50 Super as well, though in both instances the game did smooth out a little bit down the line, say, after five minutes of play.

  • I have to say, though, that the 16 50 super probably offered a smoother overall experience, which isn't surprising in anyway, considering its preference to in videos GP use so far.

  • I have to say that I am leaning toward the 5500 x T, though if someone said to me Choose between this or the 16 50 s thes exact models, I'd probably pick Team Red this time around.

  • Finally, then it's the absolute classic that is the witch or three.

  • The 5500 x t exceeded 90 frames per second here on this was combined with an excellent 1% low.

  • This can still give modern hardware a good run for its money with all the settings turned way up.

  • But I stuck with the high preset and used the medium post processing option.

  • Why don't I put everything on ultra?

  • You ask well, personally for the small difference it may make in some games.

  • I don't think the drop in performance is worth it.

  • Some titles will run very similar at both high and ultra settings, but in others the performance impacts can be significant, with very little visual difference.

  • I've always stuck with High for some reason, even with the 5700.

  • Extend my system, to be honest, but there we have it.

  • The power color 5500 X t is the cheapest and smallest version of the car you can buy, at least from what I found and considering it costs the same as the palate 16 50 super, it's certainly worth considering.

  • Prices may differ where you live, thus affecting your purchase decision and the eight gigabyte 5500 x t might not be that much more, either.

  • In which case, you might want to consider that if we strictly comparing these two though and I had to pick one, I'd still stick with the 5500 x t.

  • Does that count as being impartial?

  • I'm not sure, but after testing both and using them for a little while on Dhe, listening to both in action, this entry level a M D card has won me over.

  • And honestly, I saw myself choosing the 16 50 s first divorce.

  • So then, to conclude, if you're looking for a fairly small and fairly cheap 5500 x t, then I would happily recommend this one.

  • Now I'm going to use it for a little while longer in my system.

  • And should anything go wrong, I'll be sure to give you my updated thoughts.

  • I'd also like to mention am these drivers to I've made a video about them before, but they seem to be mostly fixed.

  • I had a few issues a while ago.

  • I got one or two black screen errors, but I found that switching on GPU scaling seemed to resolve these when changing between resolutions on DDE.

  • After that, everything ran perfectly.

  • Furthermore, if you want to get into content creation, for example, you want to record your game, play to edit or, you know, maybe do a little bit of voiceover on Then you may also want to consider the differences between invidious G force experience on Dhe Am D's software.

  • Can't remember.

  • It's called.

  • Is it relief software?

  • It's just a family radio on software now that both of those are capable of recording gameplay internally with very little, um, hits on the performance.

  • I found that in video tends to be a little bit smoother when recording at a high bit rate, but both of them are absolutely fantastic pieces off bundled software as well.

  • So if you are into content creation or you want to get into recording your game, play videos and you don't really want to spend the extra.

  • You don't have the extra to spend on a capture card.

  • I recommend looking into both G force experience and aim.

  • These software, as well as faras the cards and the gaming, is concerned.

  • I picked the 5500 x t, but I still absolutely love the 16 50 Super.

  • Both of these are fantastic entry level options.

  • Even in 2022 4 Gigs of Ram may worry Sam, but for 10 80 p gaming right now, I think they are still both capable.

  • Of course, As I mentioned, though, if you can find an eight gig for 5500 extra, maybe check out the price of that.

  • I hope you've enjoyed this video.

  • If you did leave alike when it down below, leave a dislike.
