It's the bureau model 1 66 motorcycle disc brake lock and in video number 85 I showed how it could be forced open by talking on the core.

We're gonna do that right now.

Pretty easy and pretty fast.

Well, not too long after that video, Vero reached out to me and told me that I happened to have gotten one from a defective batch.

They're aware of the problem, but due to independent distributors have no way to call them back.

They also said the customer service would replace them.

Vero then asked if they could send me a new one for testing.

And I, of course, agreed.

This is the new one.

But unfortunately it arrived to me in this plastic bag, not the original packaging, which creates the appearance of a selected sample.

So I decided to order another one from 1/3 party distributor.

When I told Vero what I was doing, they offered to send me another one as well.

So I now have four of these locks and three new ones for testing.

So What I'm gonna do is start with one that I ordered from 1/3 party supplier, knowing that it could be from the same bad batch.

And after that we will try the truth too.

And this one came in the original packaging.

Okay, so that is four of them with all the same problems.

It seems like Vero still doesn't quite have a handle on this issue.
