It's the model 13 to 2 to three.

It's designed the lock around the disc brake rotor of a motorcycle, thus preventing the wheel from turning.

The idea is that will stop most forms of roll or drive away theft.

Now this really is a beefy lock.

But all that heft is the big block of caste sink, which constitutes the lock body.

And it's not a great material to make locks out off for disc brake locks.

In particular, I've demonstrated in past videos they can be broken off without too much difficulty.

We may revisit that on this lock in the future video, but today we're going to see what it takes to pick open the eight disc disc detainer core that holds this closed.

The first thing we'll need to do is rotate all of those disks as far clockwise as they will go.

Then I'm going to take this disk container, pick that Bosnian bill and I made and try to pick up disc number one.

Okay, I think I have Disc one.

Let's find number two and start picking.

Okay, that was a click out of two.

Yep.

Gotta click out of four and we open this up.

So not all that hard.

A pick if you have the right tools.

But even with it, it's probably beyond the skills of most bike thieves.

The more concerning part of this lock, in my opinion, remains the choice of Loch body material.
