That's 3 to 4 times the number you'd find in most pin tumbler locks. It has a standard looking cruciform key way, but there are only pins in the top and side arms of the cross six in each of those positions. Now, you may think that a lock like this would be hard or time consuming to pick, but unfortunately, it was not made to particularly high standards. And that means it could be defeated with a relatively low skill raking attack. So let me show you how we do that. I'm going to start by putting a tension tool in the bottom of the key way. That's the one position where there are no pins behind it, and that means the tool will not be in the way of my wave. Rake on, then. Gonna take this rake and scrub each of the three banks of pins until we get this open. I'll probably have to do each one a couple of times. Okay, just that quickly, we got it open. Now it does bear note that this will re lock every quarter of a turn. So you would have to do that a couple of times to get the door open. However, the process is fast enough that I don't see that as a significant obstacle. Okay, this is normally the time I would get this for you, but this lock is on loan to me, and I was asked not to do so. That means you don't get to see the pins, but they are all standard, so I don't think you're missing that much. In any case, that's all I have for you today. If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below. If you like this video and would like to see more like it, please subscribe. And, as always, have a nice day. Thank you.
